• Selection tool is not as expected

  PS CC, when I use the marquee (box of ants running) tool he appears on-screen as a reticle with a small sign down to the right index, and I can't not to deselect a marquee with a simple click on the image. • Issue of marquee in Photoshop 2015.0.0

  Hello world

  I have a weird problem with the marquee using Photoshop 2015.0.0 tool

  Once I crop an image (or a screenshot), the brand makes random lines in different areas. Lines appear differently each time with no particular order. Deselection does nothing! Zoom in/out does nothing more.

  I also have Photoshop installed 2015.5, but it was very unstable and support Adobe helped me install the 2015.0.0 previous version until they can create a more stable release version. Any ideas?

• Tool marquee and lasso on the fritz! Help, please?

  Recently, whenever I use the marquee selection tool or lasso tool (anything with ants), it may not operate and several minutes after the action for Photoshop to fit all. It's extremely annoying to sit and wait to do another action (gradients, paint the choice) or to deselect everything simply. Even if I had an action to work after that I made a selection, Photoshop will behave very slowly and the mouse will slowly slide on the screen as if it is a major task. Occasionally, Photoshop will just stopped without my work after being saved.

  I did also buy and download some games of custom brush, I don't know if this has anything to do with it.

  
  

  As an independent artist, I trust this program! I can't have it crapping out on me for 9.99 per month! If you have experienced something like this before, or have any idea how to solve this problem, let me know!

  • Go to the Photoshop preferences and then go to the performance tab.
  • Please go to the tab advanced settings for the graphics processor and change the mode of basic design.
  • Also under history and Cache, please increase the size of the title to 1024 K Cache
  • Restart Photoshop and try again.

• How to select only the objects in a marquee?

  I am a new user of Illustrator CS5, switching from Freehand. I'm trying to find out if there is a way to select only the objects in a marquee? In AutoCAD, you can make a selection on the left window to the right and only those objects entirely in the window are selected. If you the window right on the left all the objects that are "crossed" or affected by the window are selected. Is there a similar technique in Illustrator?

  Currently, I have to select the objects, and then go back and hold the SHIFT key to deselect the object I don't want, or lock layers to prevent additional items get selected.

• Deselection of voice on improvement in Inspector restores the default settings.

  Voice more improvement is a combo of compressor, deEsser, and EQ sound effect. I changed the settings, but when I deselected the effect in Inspector (clicked on the little blue box) to ignore the settings then changed the effect... all the settings changed back to their default values (except for the 'Quantity' slider). This isn't how it's working. Deselection of effect should work as a derivation not a reset. If someone else can confirm this?

  This happens even to the VOE effect when saving file > save Audio effects presets, inserted on clip, unchecked then reselected in the Inspector.

• Why iTunes deselect pieces before burning a disc?

  If something has changed in v11.4? Trying to burn a music CD and iTunes deselects 3 songs just before burning. I know that there is enough space on the disk. I even made a playlist with only 3 songs and they don't burn. That is what it is?

  Select songs in iTunes & using ' file > info '.

  Look at the tab "Summary" to see what kind of file they are and if they are 'protected' or bound to an another Apple ID etc.

  After return to what you find, also compare with the files that are burning.

  I suspect you may have files cannot be converted.

  Please confirm what type of CD you burn - is it "Audio", "MP3" or "data CD"?

• Deselect the option Scripting

  Is there a way to deselect objects from a selection using scriptin?  I have a VI and I want to delete all the code that is not controls, the block diagram of cleaning.  I thought I could perform a Select all on the block diagram, deselect the control terminals, then call a deletion, but I don't see a way to deselect objects.  Is it a flaw in scripts where it should be implemented?  Or have I missed?

  The only way I see to do this would be to get the selection list, index index using the list to remove controls, then make a new selection out of the remaining elements.

  My understanding is that a selection is just an array of objects of BD, then I don't know what a deselect would really also disconnected from the matrix.

  1. What is selected now start mode? Is this Normal, Diagnostic or selective startup?

  I suggest you put the computer to Normal startup mode that will help you to load all the drivers of devices and services and also the startup items. Follow the steps below:

  a. Click Start and then click Run.

  b. type msconfig and click OK.

  c. the system dialog Configuration utility appears.

  d. click on the general tab, click Normal Startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.

  e. When prompted, click on restart to restart the computer.

  Not sure if it will work, but you can try and use Ctrl + arrow to move the selected items. CTRL + space will select/deselect.

• Windows XP Home deselection of read-only on the FlexNet Adobe folder do not stick.

  I have Adobe Creative Suite 3 and all programs except for InDesign. It comes up with an error message that says license has stopped working. Adobe lists several solutions, all that I tried with one exception that I couldn't because a step said to uncheck the read-only option for one of its folders named FlexNet. However, when I do this it deselects but it does not stick, if I look back at it now read-only is enabled. On a side note, in the same solution for XP Home it also says to disable Simple file sharing which is right impossible?

  Yes, the Adobe instructions sound as if they are not familiar with Windows XP Home Edition. First of all, the read-only attribute is not applicable to records in any version of Windows - XP, Vista or Windows 7. That's why you see the behavior you are reporting. And as you point out, you cannot disable Simple file sharing in XP Home. In all cases, the Simple file sharing (which controls how a computer connects to other computers in the Local network) is likely to have something to do with InDesign does not.

  I'm sorry that I'm unable to help you with this issue of Adobe, however. I guess you have uninstalled/reinstalled the program? If this isn't the case, you should try it. You may find an answer by posting in the InDesign user forum:

  Probably, it will not make a difference if you use a screensaver brand scrolling. However, you do not have enough RAM on workstations. It is much more likely that the machines are 'stuck' because you 1) do not have enough RAM on old workstations; and (2) you do not have enough bandwidth on your network; and/or (3) you need to upgrade your hardware network - switches, routers, cabling, etc..
