Design mode link text appears tiny

Hello
I use DW CS3 for a few days. Everything seems to be the same that DW 8, but some texts of link appear tiny in the design mode window split in CS3. They appear in a 'normal' size (as labeled) DW 8.

Any ideas what to edit in CS3? Unfortunately there seem not to be any possibility of import of DW 8, DW CS3 settings such as the colouring of the code, no matter what. So I changed everything in CS3 (hopefully all) like in DW 8. (A tedious task using 2 computers, because DW 8 does not open when CS3 is installed and open).

I use an external stylesheet, which makes the menu link appear white on Blue:

{A:Link}
do-family: Arial, Helvetica;
font size: xx-small;
color: #ffffff;
text-decoration: none
}

A: visited {}
do-family: Arial, Helvetica;
font size: xx-small;
color: #E4F90A
}

Hover {}
do-family: Arial, Helvetica;
font size: xx-small;
color: #E5EA60
}

{A: active}
do-family: Arial, Helvetica;
font size: xx-small;
color: #af2626
}

In the middle of the page, I have another link, which should appear in blue on a background image. If I tag it manually in html:

< a href = "arhontikophotos.html" > < font color = "2C3A82" size = "2" face = "Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" > < b photos > Arhontiko Villa < /b > < / police > < /a >

On the web page in a browser, it seems well defined. In the CS3 design window, the letters of "Villa Arhontiko photos" are so tiny, they are almost unreadable. It is quite difficult to work like this.

Maybe can someone help?

Thank you
JML

There is really no need to use to do this - just assign the class
to the anchor tag.

Arhontiko

  • Text will appear much larger in design mode?

    Hi, I tried teaching myself Dreamweaver CS5.

    In design mode, I have a header with text inside div. I gave the text a h1 tag and style with Css with 140%.

    My problem is that I do so great in design mode so he can appear to a reasonable size during the test in browsers.

    Even with my navigation bar which is a simple line of text. He became grand in design, but apparently displays fine in Live View mode. So when I have lined up in Design view, it seems out of whack in Live View mode.

    I'm saying I do somethng wrong, don't know if it's floats, as inline text display?

    Any suggestions much appreciated. I can always attach a picture if that helps.

    Thank you

    Honestly, I can't say I see much difference in the two with this code, or I see anything in the code that calls for it.  I do not know...

  • text appears different on the Web site in the design of DW

    text appears justified to the left on the website, but in the design of DW, it appears centered

    More you use DW, most often, you will notice this kind of divergence in Design view. Design mode does not give an accurate representation of the actual design of your page and never has. Preview in the browser will show you how your page will look like in real life.

    That being said, there are a number of possible reasons for your question, but without seeing the code, it is virtually impossible to tell exactly what is happening.

    Pass through the validator in your page file > Validate > validate the current document (W3C) or go to http://validator.w3.org/nu for a list of errors in your code. Code errors can cause all sorts of problems, particularly in view of already flawed design.

  • Design mode does not show images or link to CSS

    I use Dreamweaver 5.5 year now but today I changed inadvertently a few settings and design mode is more image display or applying the CSS settings. Some of them are local and others on the Internet - it is not serious. The fundamental problem is that Design view is not tender hand of the source code for posting a link to other files. How to restore this feature?

    All rights, it is necessary to close and re-open Dreamweaver before the display of the external files works. So now I'm back in business, but it would be nice if indicated.

  • Links not appearing styles is not in the text

    Hi there, anyone have any idea what I need to do to make the styles of links appear there boxes?  Everything looks good in my site properties, colors, etc., but the text of the hyperlink does not reflect my link styles no matter what I try.  Thanks for any help!

    Andy

    I just thought of it.  It does not work with character styles.  You must remove the character style, and then reformat the text so that styles for links to appear.  No work around for this?

  • CC OF THE MUSE WILL NOT APPEAR BEBAS NEUE WEB FONTS IN DESIGN MODE

    For some reason I can't seem to perceive the web police Bebas Neue in design mode, that greater, yet when I go to listen to extracts or even go and publish my site, it works fine.

    It was not me worry too much at first, but it really confuses things after a while that I have to guess the size and spacing because the police, appearing instead of Bebas Neue is Times New Roman (or similar).

    All other web fonts work fine. I tried to reset the web fonts and apply again but not had any luck, and I even closed and restarted Muse CC several times but once again, nothing!

    Please see the thread below for a solution - http://forums.adobe.com/message/6259161.

    Thank you

    Vinayak

  • Design mode - cannot select text, only the Divs

    This is a page I have did not build, and I hope that I can describe it correctly. Here are the published page-

    www.WheelTime.com

    I'm in CS4 and there are two things happening when you try to change in design view. The first is that I can't select text content. Clicking to select such content, for example a line of text or a Word, selects and highlights the container div any and all content to the breast in a big piece. Why is DW not let me choose the actual content? It's the first time I met enver this problem.

    It is the same for all ontainers div on the page. But a related problem may have to do with this content area. In design mode, there is a fixed height, so not only can I not select content, but I do not see everything. It of OK in the browser, develops as it should. I have looked at all the properties of any place and don't see any height attribute anywhere, particularly those that define this content area.

    A you ask - this content area is warpped in a 'main content' div, with a class applied. But this div has no corresponding entry or properties in the style sheet. I can see where a div can be used has no specific properies of its own, but it's OK, not at all mentioned in the style sheet? And this can affect what happens in Design view editing?

    So, I guess that the question is what governs this inability to change in Design view?  Thank you in advance!

    Have you tried to double click on the content?

    I do not know what causes this exactly, but I downloaded your page and it ran into my DWCS4. Until I double click on the content of the div, it does the same thing. Allowed me to select without problem from there.

    It may have something to do with the content that is wrapped in the tags within each

    .

    On your other question, your

    is affected by the class .container in your style.css instead of an id #main file - container.

    EDIT: The HTML id Type

    used to identify the elements for many purposes, not just css. There is no problem with giving an element an id simply for organization purposes, although usually they are used as targets for javascripts, css, or php script ends.

    Is there another way to Center and it won't happen?

    This is because your table moves to the center of the window of the browser while your text in the positioned absolutely

    is to stay straight when you ask it to. The two elements, the table and the
    , indeed not gathered so that they do their own thing, we still have the other movements.

    I guess you are trying to position the text accurately on an object in the table?

    Then wrap your table in a

    with some styles of css inline (as shown below)

    (everything in the table)

    Then insert your positioned absolutely

    directly after the opening tableWrapper
    tag (as shown below)

  • Problem with display in the design mode User Interface

    Hello! I use the model #2 from the Adobe Developer Connection found here: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver/articles/dreamweaver_custom_templates.html

    When I add more than 10 navigation buttons they begin to appear to the right of the first 10 in design mode.

    There is a screenshot showing the problem here: http://www.sallyaverill.com/dw_grab.html you will see in code view, it is simply a list that it explodes into design mode, pushing the content to the right and pushing an accordion Spry Panel.

    She looks like and acts very well in mode live view and in a browser, locally and remotely, but I'd like to see it in design mode. What is the cause? Please let me know if there are more necessary information. CS4, WindowsXP

    Many thanks - Sal

    Text dims to the overview is because you called a: hover, but not li: hover.

    Instead of

    .leftnavigation a: visited {
    color: # 66;
    }
    .leftnavigation a: hover {
    color: #ffffff;
    background-image: url(images/nav_down.jpg);
    }

    follow these steps:

    . LeftNavigation li: visited {info style here}

    and

    . LeftNavigation Li: hover {info style here}

    Make sure that keep them in that order! You want your Pseudo-classes to come in this order:

    Li: link link

    Visited li: visited

    Hover li: hover

    Active li: active

    Again, it won't be your entire list change (menu point) color, so you could also add funds... at the present time, you apply a style text only (text styles of color; background-color styles menu item)

    Futura is not a "web safe font' (a handful of fonts installed by default on almost all computers) as well as those who have it installed on their machines will be able to see it unless you use the rule of @font-face.

    Otherwise, the second font in your font css family stack is what to replace. At the present time, since you don't have any "stack" defined in your css, police 'serif' default browser is used.

    Here is some info on how to use the rule of @font-face:

    @font-face CSS3 rule

    CSS3 Web fonts

    I have no idea if Futura is allowed to use on Web sites. Not all fonts are licensed for online use and, as I mentioned, I have not installed it, you may need to use a slightly different font somewhere like www.google.com/fonts (free) or www.fontsquirrel.com (paid) to get the effect you want without you opening up to grumpy owners of fonts.

    Normal html structure would look as follows...

    your title

    any content your page real

    You can't have several tags doctype, HTML, head, title and body in a given html document. It seems to me that you tried to paste a few pages together into one and have included far too much information in the pasta.

  • Background problem white widget, customized in design mode

    Hello

    I have problem with white background that appears only in design mode (it works fine in preview).

    If I resize widget on the smaller size is so minimum width, I had white background on the right or for example if I add margin, I got white on the top of the page, as on the screenshot.

    This may relate the transition from spacing/State of the content of the widget, please try to publish the site as a place to test on BC and then provide the link to the site.

    Thank you

  • Unusual color in design mode?

    I absently pressed a few buttons at the same time... I don't know who... like enter or SHIFT and enter, control... when I changed instead of text.

    Now, I have a weird box red/purplish (screenshots small below) who appeared on all my pages in design mode. I'm only show the left side, but it covers the entire area of the page where are text or pictures.

    They do not appear when I download site, thank God, but I can't figure how to get rid of them and the discoloration is boring.  I tried to do a command to show all items on the page and it is not an element.  I don't know what I did.  I closed and reopened Muse and it's always there and on all of my sites.

    Someone has any idea how to get rid of it?  Thank you!

    Go the the view menu and choose hide decorative grid.  The red zone with go away.

  • Preview mode displays a different page than the design mode

    When I edit my page in design mode in Muse CC, the page is 700px about to long. When I saw this page within the Muse, he adds about 300px to the bottom of the page. There is no box of text or other content that is causing the shift? Why my Web pages appear different in the preview in my design panel Panel?

    Sound as if you want to disable "sticky footer" in the page properties dialog box. This setting makes the page at least as large as the browser window.
