Moving text left on 25px posted in design mode.

My problem is that the real position of 25px text to the left where it is in design mode. This only happens when I exported from fireworks and insterted in dreamweaver. The only time it gets when I Center the layout I made in fireworks. I mean if it is positioned on the left, there is no problem.

This happens when I type this:

< table border = "0" cellpadding = "0" cellspacing = "0" width = "800" align = "center" >

(everything in the table)

< /table >

< div style = "position: absolute;" left: 441px; top: 157px; "> < p > text < /p > < / div >

The problem doesn't happen if I do this:

< table border = "0" cellpadding = "0" cellspacing = "0" width = "800" >

(everything in the table)

< /table >

< div style = "position: absolute;" left: 441px; top: 157px; "> < p > text < /p > < / div >

The text will be placed exactly where it is in design mode, unlike the first person where he is not.

Is there another way to Center and it won't happen?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

This is because your table moves to the center of the window of the browser while your text in the positioned absolutely

is to stay straight when you ask it to. The two elements, the table and the
, indeed not gathered so that they do their own thing, we still have the other movements.

I guess you are trying to position the text accurately on an object in the table?

Then wrap your table in a

with some styles of css inline (as shown below)

(everything in the table)

Then insert your positioned absolutely

directly after the opening tableWrapper
tag (as shown below)

  • Text will appear much larger in design mode?

    Hi, I tried teaching myself Dreamweaver CS5.

    In design mode, I have a header with text inside div. I gave the text a h1 tag and style with Css with 140%.

    My problem is that I do so great in design mode so he can appear to a reasonable size during the test in browsers.

    Even with my navigation bar which is a simple line of text. He became grand in design, but apparently displays fine in Live View mode. So when I have lined up in Design view, it seems out of whack in Live View mode.

    Yes. A police corrupted on your system would indeed lead to this.

    As a test, add a family of police inside thetag of your test page and see if it makes it in Design view.

  • Moving text out of control inside the accordion Widget

    Hi guys! I was crashing my head for two days with this. I hope that you will help!

    I have a Widget Accordion with a block of very long text inside one of the boxes (a list with more than 80 lines). On the context in which each line of the second, I put a gray rectangle shape just to give some contrast to the lines in the list. In the project all rectangles are perfectly aligned to be just behind the lines. But when I write the site that I certainly see the rectangles to shift upwards or downwards.

    Is it a bug and the guns widget simply properly manage so many elements insie the feiled or am I missing something here?

    Thank you very much in advance for your advice! You could save me from madness here ;)

    UPDATE! It was not the forms, but the text that moved. I preferred some items in the list that consists of two lines. This is where I changed the leader betwin these two lines of 200% (for the separate elements in the list) to 146% between two lines (for items that contain two lines of text). That shopping somehow the text to move in the xompared Preview on the design mode mode. When I do the main unilateral activity of the entire text box, everything is in place.

    The problem is still not solved.

    Head of the percentages (line spacing) is rounded up to a whole pixel count in some browsers and is used as a mixed number in others.

    Confirm that 'cycle leading to an integer' setting is enabled in the "Content" of the Site Properties Panel.

    If you use a 'web-safe', the text will be different in different browsers. If you use a Web font there less variation in the provision on a line between browsers and so it will be less likely that the text will be in line break at different heights in the different browsers.

  • Text fields show only not in Design or in Live View mode

    Hi all

    I ran into a problem when trying to create a simple through Dreamweaver CS6 contact form.  I have two text fields for the name & Email and 1 text box for comments.  The question that I am running is that text fields are not displayed in Design or in Live view mode.  I have installed all the required variables for the server for the form to work... but that shouldn't have any effect on the demonstration of text field...  I tried to download my contact page with the same result of no list of text fields...

    What is really laughable, it is that the "text box", that I placed in my form for comments appears in Design mode & Live very well.  I think I'm missing something, but don't know what exactly.  The form is rendered by CSS.

    Here is the code for the form:

    < div id = "CRDForm" >

    " < form action =" http://www.sweetformimi.com/FormMail/formmail.php "method ="post"enctype =" application/x-www-formulaires-urlencoded"name ="contact"target ="_self"id ="contact"> "

    < input type = "hidden" name = "env_report' value ="REMOTE_HOST REMOTE_ADDR, HTTP_USER_AGENT, REMOTE_USER and AUTH_TYPE">

    " < input type ="hidden"name = 'recipients' value = ' [email protected] "/ > "

    < input type = "hidden" name = "subject" value = "Contact form" / >

    Your full name p > < label > <

    < input name = "Name" type = "text" id = 'Name' size = "40" / > < / p >

    < / label >

    < label > < p > Email

    < input name = "email" type = "text" accesskey = "2" tabindex = "2" title = "Email" value = "Email" > < / p >

    < / label >

    < Label > comments < br / >

    < = cols 'comments' textarea name = "40" lines = "10" accesskey = "3" tabindex = "3" title = 'Comments' > < / textarea >

    < / label >

    < name of entry = 'submit' type = 'submit' accesskey = "4" tabindex = "4" title = "submit" value = "submit" >

    < / make >

    < / div >

    There are other variables that I should think in the rest of my site?  I use a checkerboard to fluid.  I have CSS for office, Tablet and phone devices.  I also have a primary CSS file that imports all three.  Structure sites was conducted through the use of < header >, < article >, < footer > and of course the < div > tags.

    Has anyone already has the "text fields" does not come before? Is this a simple fix like reinstalling Dreamweaver CS6?  Finally, another thing I should mention is that I had a previous version of Dreamweaver on my computer, which was of CS3.  I have do not uninstall before installing the latest version.  I assumed (and I could be wrong here) that it would automatically replace the old version.

    I apoligize for what it is long-winded, but I am looking for help on this issue...

    Thank you

    Take the code you have posted and insert it into a new document in Dreamweaver as it is, record and watch. The fields on the form show? If they do there is something else in your code or the css that is responsible does not appear in this case, we would need to see the entire page and css.

    For me the code in design mode and live mode view shows your form fields.

  • Resizing and moving text

    Hello..

    I am currently using flash CS5. I have the task of moving text constantly in an animation from left to right... with the text of more and more both of 12pt 36 p...

    As the yet I looked through many tutorials, showing me only on the movement of the text

    I would be very comprehensive to anyone who can help me with this text, question of scale

    As far as I know, you need to tween the x, and scale properties (scaleX and scaleY in AS3) y of the textfield object in so he could change the size proportionally.  You can not properties of font (12pt to 36 p) tween size probably because they are the properties of text rather than the properties of the textfield and textfield textWidth and textHeight object properties are read only properties.  I'm not familiar with what they have done with CS5 in terms of new features in text, so I can't say if there is something new that can be manipulated

  • Hi, when I create a text box, and I type text in it, then I resize this text box, I want to see inside moving text at the same time I'm re-sizing of the text box. It does show me not LIVE what is happening inside the text box while I'm re-sizing text

    Hi, when I create a text box, and I type text in it, then I resize this text box, I want to see inside moving text at the same time I'm re-sizing of the text box. It does show me not LIVE what is happening inside the text box while I'm re-sizing of the text box and the same goes for the area of the image, I hope I could clarify my question.

    When resizing of a text box, click and hold for a moment before starting to resize. This will allow to see live redesign.

  • Design mode - cannot select text, only the Divs

    This is a page I have did not build, and I hope that I can describe it correctly. Here are the published page-

    www.WheelTime.com

    I'm in CS4 and there are two things happening when you try to change in design view. The first is that I can't select text content. Clicking to select such content, for example a line of text or a Word, selects and highlights the container div any and all content to the breast in a big piece. Why is DW not let me choose the actual content? It's the first time I met enver this problem.

    It is the same for all ontainers div on the page. But a related problem may have to do with this content area. In design mode, there is a fixed height, so not only can I not select content, but I do not see everything. It of OK in the browser, develops as it should. I have looked at all the properties of any place and don't see any height attribute anywhere, particularly those that define this content area.

    A you ask - this content area is warpped in a 'main content' div, with a class applied. But this div has no corresponding entry or properties in the style sheet. I can see where a div can be used has no specific properies of its own, but it's OK, not at all mentioned in the style sheet? And this can affect what happens in Design view editing?

    So, I guess that the question is what governs this inability to change in Design view?  Thank you in advance!

    Have you tried to double click on the content?

    I do not know what causes this exactly, but I downloaded your page and it ran into my DWCS4. Until I double click on the content of the div, it does the same thing. Allowed me to select without problem from there.

    It may have something to do with the content that is wrapped in the tags within each

    .

    On your other question, your

    is affected by the class .container in your style.css instead of an id #main file - container.

    EDIT: The HTML id Type

    used to identify the elements for many purposes, not just css. There is no problem with giving an element an id simply for organization purposes, although usually they are used as targets for javascripts, css, or php script ends.

  • Design mode link text appears tiny

    Hello
    I use DW CS3 for a few days. Everything seems to be the same that DW 8, but some texts of link appear tiny in the design mode window split in CS3. They appear in a 'normal' size (as labeled) DW 8.

    Any ideas what to edit in CS3? Unfortunately there seem not to be any possibility of import of DW 8, DW CS3 settings such as the colouring of the code, no matter what. So I changed everything in CS3 (hopefully all) like in DW 8. (A tedious task using 2 computers, because DW 8 does not open when CS3 is installed and open).

    I use an external stylesheet, which makes the menu link appear white on Blue:

    {A:Link}
    do-family: Arial, Helvetica;
    font size: xx-small;
    color: #ffffff;
    text-decoration: none
    }

    A: visited {}
    do-family: Arial, Helvetica;
    font size: xx-small;
    color: #E4F90A
    }

    Hover {}
    do-family: Arial, Helvetica;
    font size: xx-small;
    color: #E5EA60
    }

    {A: active}
    do-family: Arial, Helvetica;
    font size: xx-small;
    color: #af2626
    }

    In the middle of the page, I have another link, which should appear in blue on a background image. If I tag it manually in html:

    < a href = "arhontikophotos.html" > < font color = "2C3A82" size = "2" face = "Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" > < b photos > Arhontiko Villa < /b > < / police > < /a >

    On the web page in a browser, it seems well defined. In the CS3 design window, the letters of "Villa Arhontiko photos" are so tiny, they are almost unreadable. It is quite difficult to work like this.

    Maybe can someone help?

    Thank you
    JML

    There is really no need to use to do this - just assign the class
    to the anchor tag.

  • rearanging my codes when moving the mode code in design mode

    I was wondering if there is a setting in Dreamweaver cc which can maintain the way I wrote my codes?

    This is what happens:

    I'm working in code view and write my code. then I'll see it in design mode, and then I go back to my code and Dreamweaver justify my codes... it is really annoying.  is there a way to preserve the design (how I wrote my codes and it will stay as is almost anything)

    Side note: I don't speak of split where it is expected that the code would be move fluidly.  I want to talk about full code mode.  Thank you

    No I don't want to say that... but I think that I thought about it.

    Here's what I think: work as a grid to fluid design causes additional codes to add to my existing codes.  I got to start keeping an eye on it, because my class names begin to grow like crazy. I tried to design something fluid grid when I got Dreamweaver (because it was a of a point of sale major for me) I quickly realized that with little experience in css tripled to start the complexity, it became to apply a style appropriate throughout a webpage so I went back to basics and learned how to work with css first.  I'm getting quite well now and felt it was time to give Fuid grid another shot.  I forgot about how tricky it is to keep things tight in this environment.  So whatever it was; I'm almost sure of 99.9 percent it was because when I went and changed a few settings in the GUI, I have not noticed that it marked another name to my already class name.  So, in a sense, I get several classes for a single element tags.  After a while the extra code inserted by Dreamweaver mess up the layout of code (I have beed, trying to keep tidy as I can) lol.  It then! I'm really starting to like Dreamweaver, but man... I think I'm really starting to hate using the graphical environment and begins to really understand what that old boys goes on to say that it is better to hardcode to try to settle things with the graphic environment.

  • Dreamweaver problem: cannot go back into Design mode

    Dreamweaver cannot go back in Design mode.

    Condition... Type or paste a line of text. Then press SHIFT + ENTER. If you are in split view, you can see that Dreamweaver has inserted the Unix < br > Break. Then type or paste a character or a word in Design mode and enter a space. Now, try to go back and delete the character that you have just typed or pasted. You cannot delete the last character of the last word after the break, or uniqueness, which was followed by a space. This condition exists in Dreamweaver CC since the launch of Dreamweaver CM³, about a year ago.

    Comments... If you are in split mode, or if you change the Code view, you can see that last space has been removed, and curiously, the cursor is located left of the < br > Break. On the right side of the break, is the content of the text that you want to revert back to remove. However, in design mode, the cursor is to the right of the text to be deleted! Press the BACKSPACE in design mode and the cursor does not move in Code view. View code change and you have to manually move the cursor to the right of the text to remove, and then press BACKSPACE twice: first press empty due to lack of buffer that blocked the action correct backspace (I think, but ideas here so please share with Jack in charge); second button to start the delete text action.

    Support to date: just off the phone with care: "Yes, we know this problem for over a year and there are thousands of people like you who have this problem. This issue has been brought to our engineers. "You just wait dethrone"

    Considerations... Because the back is a parameter of Unix Foundation, and because the functions of Fireworks with millions of active system per second setting hooks, it is logical to assume that Dreamweaver has millions of potential destructive potetially system launch every second that the application is open. At launch, Windows 8.0 and Dreamweaver have been hell has extended to the point of boiling. All the time that the independent team Acrobat (not Adobe) got their product set beginning July, 2013 there is a hope for Dreamweaver. As you can see, this hope is baseless. Adobe has failed to get basic Unix keyboard functionality for its Dreamweaver product. Business must be booming for dozens of requests for the creation of web previously backroom. Google that. Windows 8.1 provides a much greater security for the system during the installation of the moribund Dreamweaver product. I'm in favor notepad.exe personally for the most part, the efforts of code. Yet the great potential of OS perspective triggered by Dreamweaver is impressive. Thousands of users are no doubt what we see for the last year of hope is not the deathrows of a great creation officer, full potential.

    Purpose of this post:... Hope that Adobe keeps this display Discussion (request for ideas) is active until the problem is resolved. It is comforting to know that the issue is raised. Hotline again suggested just now, I post this in the Forums.

    Query... There may be a preferences that can solve the problem of back? Maybe someone has an idea personal (s)?

    OK, the update is now available.

    To horizontally Center a container, you need just 3 things:

    1. A valid document type - DW who performs for you when you create a new document.
    2. A width specified in pixels, ems or % which is less than 100%.
    3. A margin-left and margin to the right of auto

    . Center-block { }

    Width: 900px;

    margin: 0 auto;

    Futura is not a "web safe font' (a handful of fonts installed by default on almost all computers) as well as those who have it installed on their machines will be able to see it unless you use the rule of @font-face.

    Otherwise, the second font in your font css family stack is what to replace. At the present time, since you don't have any "stack" defined in your css, police 'serif' default browser is used.

    Here is some info on how to use the rule of @font-face:

    @font-face CSS3 rule

    CSS3 Web fonts

    I have no idea if Futura is allowed to use on Web sites. Not all fonts are licensed for online use and, as I mentioned, I have not installed it, you may need to use a slightly different font somewhere like www.google.com/fonts (free) or www.fontsquirrel.com (paid) to get the effect you want without you opening up to grumpy owners of fonts.
