  After installing WebLogic 10.3 and Oracle Identity Manager 9.1.9.1 on Windows 2003, I installed the OIM design Console. When you try to start the Console of the design using the xlclient.cmd, I get the error "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Design» I tried to include libraries in the classpath and copied the weblogic.jar in the directory xlclient/ext. I use jrockit_160_05.

  Does anyone know how to solve a situation when as soon as you connect with Design Console it displays a dialog asking to change password? When I enter new password, it reports:

  I found a problem. VM has an incorrect date. As soon as I have synced the time on it with ntpdate, it started working as expected.

  -Follow these steps to configure OIM Design console position.

  Make sure that JAVA_HOME is set, as in the following example:

  To set this variable, right-click on the icon my computer and select Properties. The System Properties screen appears. Click the Advanced tab, and then click the Environment Variables button. The Environment Variables screen. Make sure that the JAVA_HOME variable in the User Variables section is set to the path of the JDK Directory installed on your machine.

  I was wondering if there is an API for OIM design Console.
  I would like to add fields to a connector resource and configure the commissioning of the resource of connector and the search for reconciliation through Java code.
  Adding more than 100 attributes of resources is a tedious process, and I would like a better way to automate this process.

  In the developer's guide, there are instructions for configuring a custom client that can connect to your application to IOM. You can use the tcLookupOperationsIntf api to add values to your search.

• Design console does not connect

  I am trying to connect to IOM via design console get the below error. IOM is in the linux machine and I copied the console from the design to the local machine, made the necessary changes in xlclient.cmd and xlconfig.xml, I am getting up pop design console but get error below. I am able to open the IOM of url, but not able to connect the console of the design.

  You use hostname in your url of the IOM in the xlconfig.xml file. Add entry in your file hosts with this host name and its ip address. Or update xlconfig.xml with the IP instead of host name. It should work.

  No, because as long as you do not plan to do any customizations and will stick with the STANDARD connector.

  You save the definition of search after entering the name, the domain and the Group? You must save the search first to add values to it.

  In the console design, you won't see any form in the form designer until you install all of the connectors to the IOM.

• Problem with OIM design console

  Am using IOM 9.1.0.2. I am creating a utility task that will print a shot. In the console design while trying to create a utility (utility type) task when I go to the screen where I can choose 'API Source' and 'Application API', I see nothing to select "API Source" drop-down. And in the 'Application API' dropdown I see a bunch of classes beginning with 'com.sun.accessibility '.
  
  Can you please let me know I'm not able to see the usefulness of the IOM APIs for the selection of whey?
  
  When I check my console installation xlUtils.jar Design, xlIntegration.jar rt.jar files are already present in the DESIGN_CONSOLE_HOME\xlclient\lib folder
  
  And I see no error while logging on to the console of the design.
  
  Am I missing something?

  It's absolutely perfect behavior. You don't see there in the API Source drop-down list. Just move the scroll bar down to the API of the Application and you will find all the com.thortech... so.

• New computer, transfer CS4 Design Premium problem

  I had CS4 Design Premium (education) on my 2006 MacBook Pro. The computer crashed, I bought a MacBook Pro 2013 and I am trying to transfer the license or product on the new computer. I don't have the original disks, but I had saved the software in Time Machine. CS4 downloaded on the new computer, but it gave me a license error when I tried to open it. I uninstalled on the Mac to 2013, got my serial number of MyAdobe and I am try to download again, but it tells me that my serial number is not valid.

  I found through the forums/troubleshooting there are a few reasons why it doesn't work:
  -New material/new Mac software is not compatible with CS4

  -All products in the suite has its own serial number and must be entered individually * (I don't know where to find these individual numbers)

  -Teaching discs purchased through 3 parts (College Library) might have codes different series/product numbers

  Anyone have an idea how I can do this freakin thing ' work? I need to get my CS4 working again for school/work and cannot afford to buy another version.

  CS4 is compatible with lion, lion mt and the mavericks, but NOT to transfer the files.  use the installation files to install your programs.

  If you have a problem dl'g, you don't follow all 7 steps.  the most common mistake is not meticulously follow the steps 1, 2, and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system, allowing you to download the correct version of the adobe.com site).

• Dream Weaver cc Design view problems why is completely different design of the live display view

  Why Why oh why oh why is the cc Design view completely different from live view - live mode view is good, but virtually nothing is editable. How the hell can Adobe market a web as wysiwyg design tool when design mode is terrible. I saw old messages regarding this versions in 2014 and 2015.

  I'm not completely illiterate code but I would change the drawings etc. without digging deeper into the code. It's 2016 I stopped using the ages of tables there are available to my creations, but it seems that all cram into a table is the only way to get a half-decent idea of what is happening in design mode. I use a Mac which probably didn't help, but in the interest of the essential may be easier not more difficult.

  If it is true that Dreamweaver is really only for kernel developers hard, they should say so and start promoting Muse or similar for people who don't want to spend hours crafting code in all the different possible options such java php etc to produce a well-designed functional Web site.

  Design view has always been horrible to show you the design of the site, but some things worse.

  It does not run scripts of any type and more advanced css is completely invisible to the it. Code errors will also break Design mode almost instantly. Make sure you're validating your code under file > validate > validate the current document (W3C) or going directly to the validator online at http://validateo.w3.org/nu. Pay close attention to any structural errors listed are those that make the Design view go nuts.

  For what it's worth, DW is not really a wysiwyg program in the strictest sense of the acronym, regardless of how many guys at Adobe marketing wanted to believe this claim. DW requires a solid knowledge of html, css and javascript to get the best out there for static sites. These days, we use floats CSS, margin, padding and display properties to build our page layouts. While the program comes with base layouts, you can click to start with, do not understand the desire of "why it works" quickly cause massive frustration levels.

  If you really don't want you your hands dirty with the code, or simply do not have the time to become familiar with the basics of html and css, Adobe Muse would probably be a better option for you.
