I'm not experienced with oracle forms or States but one my customer use them, my client decided to change the user password request forms and did. After that, developers are looking for config files and change the passwords in files of that too. is the application works fine but has reports of problems. as I said, there are two ways to run reports, web and run_product. When the URL is used, reports work well, but in forms (fmb) screens when the run_product procedure is used, they received the error "name of username/password invalid.

  If your customer base is 11G, this could be a problem with the passwords case-sensitive. Try to set a password with only UPPERCASE letters.

  Am using IOM 9.1.0.2. I am creating a utility task that will print a shot. In the console design while trying to create a utility (utility type) task when I go to the screen where I can choose 'API Source' and 'Application API', I see nothing to select "API Source" drop-down. And in the 'Application API' dropdown I see a bunch of classes beginning with 'com.sun.accessibility '.
  
  Can you please let me know I'm not able to see the usefulness of the IOM APIs for the selection of whey?
  
  When I check my console installation xlUtils.jar Design, xlIntegration.jar rt.jar files are already present in the DESIGN_CONSOLE_HOME\xlclient\lib folder
  
  And I see no error while logging on to the console of the design.

  It's absolutely perfect behavior. You don't see there in the API Source drop-down list. Just move the scroll bar down to the API of the Application and you will find all the com.thortech... so.

  I use Windows 7 (32-bit) with SP1.

  Quite often (at least three times a day) I am to be locked of my PC and cannot connect to 30 mts each time. I've analyzed carefully and there is absolutely nothing wrong with my ID on the front of Windows AD or group etc. policy.

  You use hostname in your url of the IOM in the xlconfig.xml file. Add entry in your file hosts with this host name and its ip address. Or update xlconfig.xml with the IP instead of host name. It should work.
