Designjet 230 D unknown code error on the Panel then no power.

10 + years old plotter worked flawlessly until last week, he would not draw, but all the Panel switched on correctly. I turned off, to re-boot, but whhen he's come on again all 8 lights blinked once and then turns off/nothing. When I turned off the lights blinked again. I replaced the cartridge but NG. Then I took a chance and I replaced the power supply of the GUY, but he has not set and the plotter still flashes on and outside. All advice is appreciated.

I found the steel wool fine dust of type surrounding a transistor attached to the heatsink on the main logic board. Once identified with a breath of air works again.

Error code 0 x 0000005 usually indicates some sort of a permissions problem.  I have no idea how this would bind to a socket well!

If it works sometimes, if you play inside, do you think you may have a poor connection or loose somewhere?  Are you able to just unlug and reconnect / reinstall everything will be cancelled (without using too much force)?  Just do one thing at a time, so you don't mix...  Unplug it, plug it back, unplug the next thing, plug it back, etc.  You reinstall RAM and video card if you have one in a crack - out them one at a time, put them immediately from whence they came.

Here's how to start debugging of a BSOD.

Please provide additional information on your system:
What is your system brand and model?
What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?
Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..
The question was preceded by a loss of power, aborted reboot or abnormal termination?  (this includes the plug pulling, buttons power, remove the battery, etc.)
The afflicted system has a CD/DVD drive work?
You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?

Your system seems to start OK and then crash or didn't he start not at all?

If your system works fine, what do you think might have changed since the last time it worked correctly?
Can you make the system crash when you want
?  For example, you would say that there is no specific system activity that coincides with the accidents (like watching videos, playing games, etc.).

The next time your system crashes, provide more information on what you see.
Here's a BSOD example showing information you provide:
Send for the nose and the Red arrows (3 to 4 lines total).
Send all * line STOP message since there are clues in the 4 parameters.
If there is a name of the file listed in the STOP message, don't forget to include this information too.
Ignore the boring text unless it seems important to you.  We know what a BSOD looks like, we need to know what your BSOD looks like.
Now provide more information about your system and data against more recent accidents.
Click Start, run and enter in the box:
    Msinfo32
Click on OK and when the system info summary appears, click on Edition, select all, copy, and then paste the information here.
For information about video drivers, expand components, click view, click on edit, select all, copy and then paste the information here.
There will be some personal information (such as the user name and the name of the system), and anything that turns information private for you, simply delete the pasted information.
This will minimize back Q & A and eliminate guesswork.
    Download BlueScreenView here:
Unzip it and run it (BSV installs nothing) and let him complete the digitization of all your crash dump files.
If you double-click on depressed, you will get information on it (including the field caused by the driver) and you should be able to spot the problem right away - especially if you see a model in landfills where Caused by field pilot is the same (beginning with this driver).
BlueScreenView tries to find the right driver or module that caused the blue screen by looking inside the stack of the accident. However, be aware that the driver detection mechanism is not 100% reliable, and you should also look in the lower pane, that display all drivers/modules found in the stack.
Select (highlight) one or more of the most recent dump files by clicking on them and hold down the CTRL key to select multiple files
.  Try to select only the most recent links that relate to your problem (perhaps five or six to start dump files).
Click on file, save selected items and save information from the dumps to a text file on your desktop called BSOD.txt.

Open BSOD.txt with a text editor Notepad, WordPad, etc.), select all (Ctrl-A), copy all the text in the Windows Clipboard (Ctrl-C) and paste the text to the Clipboard (Ctrl-V) back here in your next reply.

  • Code error 0x7E - the file 'autorun.dll' could not be loaded or is damaged. Setup cannot continue. Windows 7 Upgrade installation problem

I tried to install Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade, 32-bit version. My current system is an Intel iMac (later), with Windows XP - SP3 loaded as a virtual machine with Parallels Desktop 4.0 build 3848 (according to their website, it is supposed to support Windows 7).

I allocated enough space RAM and HARD drive of the virtual machine to run Windows 7. No matter what I do, when I try to run setup.exe, I get the error message: "the file 'autorun.dll' could not be loaded or is corrupt. Setup cannot continue. Error code is [0x7E].

The file 'autorun.dll' is present on the disk.

I saw on the internet that other people have also had this problem, with or without Parallels Desktop, and get a replacement DVD of Windows 7 program made no difference to them. Nor is it an available answer, I've seen.

My Windows 7 disc is new, so I was hoping that Microsoft could solve the problem for me?

    Thank you.

OK, so, this response is a little late to come, but if you never solved...

I just encountered the same problem - editing similar (Mac, Parallels 5 in my case, the SP3 of XP, MS Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade) - you must make sure that the DVDROM drive hardware is mapped to "D:" on your XP installation. Thus on the Parallels Desktop menu go to devices, CD/DVD1 and make sure that all your actual DVD player is called is selected (should be the vertical entry in the menu) - not true CD/DVD. The reader should then start and auto run.
    I hope this helps...

    Hi all

I really need help here.  I have a new installation of Esxi5.5 and installed the server vcenter build 5.5.0.5201 device 1476389.

I have host files properly configured for DNS and Server 2008 R2 running that I use to connect with the client or web client heavy.

Initially, I get an error with the web client to connect, he began to paint Vmware and when it comes to 'r' in the name it fails with #2032, so I can no longer

access the page at all, he says: connection refused for the page. If I wait a while I can connect again.

heavy client vSphere fails at this time as well.  However, I cannot communicate directly with Vsphere client to server esxi host and it works all the time.

There seems to be a problem with the device of vcenter server because the thick client fails, and does not open a backup program using vcenter server

Please help, it drives me crazy...

    Hello

Since I found the solution to the problem of connecting to the device of vcenter.  It is a conflict of IP address on the network.  There was a machine with the same IP address virtuall

as the vcenter server.  This caused intermittent problems etc.. Why web client would still work if I have the vmware client open I do not know

so thank you for your help.

Think about it an absolute must - manually update your drivers.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded: run DriverView - set
SEE drivers to hide Microsoft - update those with Dump in their names. (Also
updated the BIOS and drivers from the chipset on the site of the constructor/the system motherboard).

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded
on your system. For each driver in the list, additional useful information is
Poster: load address of the driver, description, version, product name,.
company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit Maker as replacements and system manufacturer of device which are
the most recent. Control Panel - write - graphics card - device manager
the brand and complete model of your video card - double click - tab of the driver-
Note the version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this can do nothing
MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard
If there are 3rd party with their own software and drivers and the other main device drivers
    you have.

Now, go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restore)
and site (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get the manufacturer and device
their latest versions. (Look for the system to update the BIOS, Chipset and software updates
    Site of the manufacturer here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN -.
    REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you are
installation actually appears. This is because that some rollback of drivers before the
later is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a driver - reboot.
Make sure that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW to the device makers DO NOT RUN THEIR
SCANNER - check manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/HT/driverdlmfgr.htm

Installation and update of drivers under Windows 7 (updated drivers manually using
the above methods is preferable to ensure the latest drivers from the manufacturer of system
    and device manufacturers are located)
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/43216-installing-updating-drivers-7-a.html

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable driver facilities
in the updates of Windows, which leaves on Windows updates, but it will not be installed
pilots who are generally older and cause problems. If updates provides a new
driver then hide it (right click on it) and then go get new ones manually if
    you want.

When I try to start my windows firewall manually it just says that it cannot be run.
I checked dependencies of firewall are running via services.msc
(CPP) Remote procedure call is started and set to automatic
DCOM Server process Launcher also started and set to automatic
These are the only 2 mentioned in the tree of dependencies.

Ive tried going into regedit according to the http://forums.techarena.in/vista-security/754147.htm
But could never find the % query defined values, they have mentioned that only how to make them.

Program installed Antivirus is ESET 4.0 with firewall.
Tried to disable all the services start and no microsoft via msconfig services, but the firewall still does not start.

My system is running Windows Vista Premium.

I have no idea why the firewall just quit on me, I turned it off when I installed ESET smart security 1-2 years back.
I've been juggling start services to try to make my computer faster startup could be something I did.
I even tried their activation at unsuccessfully.

Im going to do a full analysis of the Virus to see if it could be the culprit, but its highly unlikely it seems.
No matter which entry of the Forumites here would know it that I really need to get the windows firewall service starts to install my drivers for the new printer I just bought
(part of his installation required to start the windows firewall to configure, when it fails it cant complete the installation)

I solved it thnx to DaGreenOne,

It wasn't enough to just disable the ESET firewall,
You must completely uninstall the ESET program to the windows firewall to work again.

  • Need a driver for xp designjet 230 that works!

I have a hp Designjet 230.  I just bought a Dell Optiplex gx270s with XP PRO Service pack 3 in the hope of using this printer.  Windows supposedly has the right driver, but when the new hardware found box is in place, the result is a step to go. I downloaded the driver xp Hp PL532en, pointing the installation in this folder ends with a message "unable to install".  The search to the internet with the installation program does not work either.  This printer has always worked on xp.  What gives?

I'm sure that you read and followed all the instructions on the download page of hp (which curiously do not refer the wizard 'new hardware found'), but I suspect there's a bit more to this error message.  Could you please provide it in its entirety?

Windows XP includes drivers for DesignJet 230: one for (D/A1) and the other for (E/A0).

What happens when you follow this sequence:

    1. with printer and computer off, connect the printer to the computer (BTW, this printer connects using the parallel port - a connector 25-pin Centronics - OK?)
    2. turn the printer on and stabilize
    3. open computer and let stabilize.  Cancel the new hardware found Wizard opens.
    4. click on start > printers and faxes > add printer
    5. in the Add Printer Wizard, select "Local printer attached to this computer" and uncheck "automatically detect and install my plug and play printer."
    6. Select "Use the following port", then the correct port in the drop-down list (probably LPT1)
    7. Select the correct driver for the HP DesignJet 230
    8. finish the wizard.

  • Code reuse within the same VI (when he's not a Subvi)

My last question here was awarded a point congratulations "to have been a big question", which is quite annoying, because my current skill level, it is hard to imagine the time when I will never be anything other than a "taker" of this forum!  So this is with a "dumb" question to try to put the right folder.

My front panel has 17 groups of one button + three numerical indicators, it's quite a few elements of façade and 8 groups have an enum indicator as well.  All of these are also controlled by the visibility property nodes or 'off '.

My program gathers all data for these elements in a table at the end of the main loop and functional global variables, it refreshes the properties and values of all these elements of façade.  It might sound like undisciplined, but because of the similarity between the 17 groups that refresh the elements panel above all happens within a pure FOR loop (albeit with a structure AFFAIR of 17 channels inside) if these controls are at least not sprawled all over my block diagram.

The only problem I have is that my program takes a few seconds to initialize and get the loop running, period during which the façade shows garbage (well, maybe not garbage, data maybe related to the last time the program was executed, which may have been a context different, so much better if not visible).

But if I also ran the same right 'before the code refresh of the Panel"after initialization (wipe) the data in my functional overall, the result would be that all of these controls would be invisible or disabled, which is a much better place to start from.

But what I need to put a copy completely separated from the loop on my block diagram to get this effect?

Make a sub - VI is out of the question, because it's the front of this VI that I'm working on.

The word that describes what I want to do (for me) is "subroutine", but in LabVIEW "subroutine" seems to have a very specific meaning, a VI "stripped for speed" that affects no front panel in any case.

Is this just a problem of my state of mind?  It is true that in my life by far most of the code I wrote has been assembler for microphones integrated 8-bit, these applications are always tied to memory.  At this stage of my career balance reverse but many high-level code I write (Yes, I am a dinosaur).  So I tend to worry about the what will be my compiled code.  Should I just put another copy of the loop (in fact, it is only the nodes of property 'visible' 76 I need) on my schematic and disturbing stop on this subject?

    A number of observations.

    (1) the title of dinosaur not is still FRO seized with many of us competing (I used as well to play the game of 'ICan write this charceter to X lines...) »)

    (2) when you do a lot with the GUI, "David FP updated (this is a property of the FP to stop updates of the screen, serach for this) may spped things upward."

    (3) I use a GUI controller very often in my applications. I posted about it here.

    (4) if Chase you my tags I have a collection of GUI performance.

I put the code in a VI called from my GUI controller (who calls your FG for the info).

    Regarding the memory

When we used to depend on someone with a crochete crochet and beads to make our memory, it was justified. Today, memory is cheap and using you save time is fine. When you worry about memory, it's when you find that the code does not fit into 2 G more.

I want to change color of title of the Panel (from the default blue) which largely my chart.

When I set the color property of the Panel, then it changes all the texts present in the chart to blue. I want to just chane color of title of the Panel.

Can someone help me in this?

    Nilesh Traoré

You can use the Control Panel's titleStyleName property to point to a css declaration.  For example:

    http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml" layout="absolute" minWidth="955" minHeight="600">

              .panelTitle {
                   color: #0000FF;
              }

If you run this code, you will notice that the title of the Panel is blue, but the text of the label inside the Panel is not affected by the style.

    Hope that works for you.

    See you soon

  • Why Dell has paralyzed the Panel advanced configuration options of power on the venue Pro 8?

Reference paralyzed Dell Control Panel advanced configuration options of power on the venue Pro 8.

Dell must provide a patch restores full power plan setting up advanced features of Windows.

Adding a new default Dell Windows power plan doesn't bother me, but they must not paralyze the Panel Windows distribution, power options, or remove the standard Windows power management.

That has something to do with the sleep settings connected / configuration Microsoft / Dell are doing on these units. It is the same for versions place 11 MS Pro. units of vPro are different because no standby connected supports. With Eve logged onto the available settings are limited to what would not interfere with it. If you would change settings (e.g., SSD or Wifi Powermanagement Disabled) issues as sleep function in the process of disappearance and others. Microsoft also has requirements to be connected certified standby.
Again, not 100% sure if it's MS or Dell do but my guess would be Microsoft because I saw the same thing with different units.
If you turn off the connected Eve all Windows power plans are displayed and all the advanced features of power are available.

Use the command Regedit and change the following:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power
Change the value for the key CsEnabled from 1 to 0 and reboot.
1 means connected off standby active and 0.
Try it and see if it solves your problem.

BTW: by disabling the connected standby battery also will show the time remaining not only the percentage of battery life. :-)

    "Device pairing failed.

However, there is no driver for the 9xxBackBeat headphones and when I contacted their support, I'm referred my OS manufacturer, but when I talk about Microsoft, they tell me to go to Plantronics.
Can someone tell me please how to fix this error?
If it is not a mistake on the side of Plantronic, and if it's not a mistake on the side of Microsoft Windows, and then what happens?

    Hello

have you applied last patch of the FDMEE-SAP adapter?

It will create the additional flexfields in ODI for you. Otherwise, you will need to create them by running sql insert statements.

You will see them in the guide of BristleCone V4.0.
