My portable computer product number HP15-g019wm F9H60UA #ABA has been suspended on the black welcome screen after logging about two minutes before opening on the desktop. My mozilla firefox is slow to open and does not connect to any websites other than the home page. It is upgraded to the latest version, when I first tried to open it and then it opens slowly. Google chrome opens quickly but then freezes when I try to go to another site. My computer is running windows 64 bit system 8.1. Anyone know what could be causing the issues off the phone and internet on my laptop? I was able to connect and browse the internet very well last night, and these problems just started to happen this afternoon. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Laptop HP 15-g019WM: factory reset

Product delivered with Windows 8.1 (not sure if 32 or 64-bit).  Try recovery for a friend who isn't technically able.  Recovery HP to factory using a complete factory resets using all DVD 5, created during the initial setup of the machine.  Have since upgraded to Windows 10, but that the upgrade can be done again after a reset complete.  Am page preparation of Factory Image Recovery and I have the lines of reformatting and copying the files audited.  Progress goes to 12% with 18 minutes from the end and process freezes (several attempts and still freezes 12%). After a long wait, an error message appears indicating that the target drive is not connected.  Tempted to use a DVD player external as suggested in a tech forum, but it did not work as the system cannot read from the external drive. Is there a solution to this problem, which does not require disassembly of the machine to take the external drive as suggested in another tech forum?  Or is it a clean image DVD set which can provide HP that won't cause this problem.

    Hello

The machine originally shipped with Windows 8.1 64 bit (home).

If you wish to order a replacement set of media recovery for Windows 8.1, you can make from then on the link below.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/mediaorder/HP-15-G000-notebook-PC-series/6545564/model/6761879/softwareitem/819421-001/STEP1

Another solution, if you intend to upgrade the laptop for Windows 10 once again, would be just to perform a new installation of 10 - as the machine has been previously upgraded to 10, a hardware profile (digital rights) will have been saved by the activation servers.

As long as the previous installation of Windows 10 had activated Ok after upgrade from 8.1, you just create your own installation media and perform a new installation as described in the guide on the following link.  Note: On the activation screen, select "I don't have a product key" - Windows will activate automatically once installation is complete.

    Hello @me-262.

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I read your post on the laptop won't start does not and wanted to help you!

Try to review the documents to see if you can get the rear system works again:

HP computers - screen will Flash between a blank blue screen with a task bar and a desktop on startup (Windows 8) screen

Computers laptops HP - computer won't start (Windows 8)

If this does not help, then you can consider to perform a System Recovery, to put the laptop to its factory settings.  Please let me know how it goes.

    Hello

There is only 1 slot for the upgrade, supports up to 8 GB of RAM. I guess that your laptop came with 4 GB of RAM, so right which replaces with 8 GB, is that you try?

    Supported configuration:

Support of the DDR3L-1600-MHz single channel

    Single channel support DDR3L 1 333 MHz (DDR3-1600 downgrade of DDR3-1333)

    This is theuser manual.

    Go through the Page 65,

    It is said:

You have to remove the battery, and then remove the following:

    ● Keyboard

    Top cover ●

    ● WLAN module

    ● System Board

So, it's not an easily accessible location,

I suggest you Contact HPfor the upgrade, if you're not technically used to this.

    Thank you

  • F9H60UA #ABA: what "product range" and the model are my hp laptop?

    Hello

Sell my HP like new on eBay, I tragically lack the original box or any documentation. I don't know how to fill out some fields on the eBay site:

1 range. As far as I know it's a HP 15 laptop. Is - this accurate enough? How could I know if it is a Pavilion, VAIO, Presario, etc.. ? There is no external marks.

2 model. Stumped on this one completely. He will have to leave the field blank unless you have a way for me to look it up.

3 Edition operating system. I know I have Windows 8.1. How will I know if it is Home Premium, professional or other?

    4. type of graphics processing. I know that I have an AMD E-Series processor. This would be dedicated, integrated / edge or hybrid?

Thanks for any help you might be. If there is no way you can provide answers from the information I have provided, I just leave the fields blank and the wing.

    See you soon,.

  • WiFi turns with laptop

Hello, I bought a laptop hp 15-g019wm (8.1 64-bit windows) a few months ago, and all of a sudden the wifi device has been giving me a lot of trouble to. Everything was fine until a week ago. Now when I open / power on my laptop the wireless device is not turn on with her. It turns after that that he has been turned on and it cannot activate it manually with the wifi key or other button commands. After loggin WiFi still wont turn on wifi network control panel, the system installation menu or one of the other menus/tabs that involve wifi/network cards.

() Light stays red as turn off and says not connected to a network / no availabe (networks) when there are multiple networks available at some point here( ) so far the only solution has been to repeatedly turn my laptop power for everything on and off an hour and a half until the wifi device FINALLY registers and lights up with a blue light.

It is still under warranty, but I would use that as another failed solution as I don't know how or why this problem occurred and this would really just rather than send it off.  Any help/advice/solutions would be greatly appreciated and I thank you for your time.
    -Read_06-

I tried the suggestions on the link you provided (several times) with no luck. I had found the same page on my own search for solutions to the problem.  Thanks in any case. I'll just take it back and get something that actually works.

  • HP15-g019wm black screen after log in

My HP 15-g019wm product number #ABA F9H60UA notebook running on windows 8, recently updated and after the update, it lasted like to log and after connection it goes to a black screen for a few moments with a white mouse cursor I can go before it opens on the desktop. It takes more than three minutes of connection opening on the desktop. Startup and startup are very well the problem occurs only after you have entered my password and connect. Once it opens on the desktop, everything works fine. Any suggestions on how to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Last update of windows was KB2993651 29/08/14. Don't know if this helps or not. Uninstall this update would do anything to improve or worsen the current state of my computer?
    Thank you

    Hi Lynch10,

I couldn't say with certainty if it was with this update, but in the last month, there was a problem. Try to remove anything before it happens. The other option to this fact a System Restore before the issue happening.

    Hi Ladyj8253,

I see that you also experience the same problem. As with Lynch, did this just start happening once you have made updates to the laptop?
If so, can you check for 4 I provided above, and a Lynch mentioned please. If you have one, delete them. Other wise try to perform a restore of the system as well forward to happen.

If you are able to solve it by removing a recent update (August), please indicate what one it was.
