  I have a Scanner of DesignJet 4520, that very recently stopped working on the network.  Wiring to the scanner is good and the network itself works normally.  I can't get a DHCP address or assign a static IP address to the device.  When I try to assign a static IP address, I get the following error:

  Thoughts?  Is my scanner goes wrong?

  Looks like you have a Rev A scanner and the software is for the Rev A and B

  The SW is 24.1 the the file name once you have created the bootable image and make sure they match

  I do not understand in the setting of scanners very well, just the basic calibrations, replacement of lamp and glass etc. However, I have a DJ 4500 Scanner connected to the network, it recently lost and not keep I.P. parameters. So Im thinking network card? If so, it is my understanding, it's built in network card? How can I replace? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

  There are no drivers to be installed on the computer and use the scanner.

  You must use the computer (touch screen) that accompanies it.

  Or contact Contex, they might have a software for sale to operate the device from a computer.

• HP Color Laser Jet MFP M177fw Pro - Scanner Error 22

  I get the same Scanner Error 22 on the Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M177fw like many others have posted.  Tried uninstalling\reinstalling the software and tried the most common loading drivers but Scanner error prevented this piece of finish.  Support and I was told we would have to pay $49.95 for them to help us solve the problem.  We just bought this printer 5 weeks ago.  Is this all we can try?

  Thank you for your response. This solution does not solve my problem. HP customer service had travelled me several tests (took about 20-25 minutes total) but ended up sending me a replacement printer. It arrived within two days and so far, the replacement works great. HP has also paid to have the original shipped in return. The process was fairly hassle.

  Basic scanning drivers built into the operating system only allow scan however a USB key.

  You can follow these steps to install the previous HP software by using compatibility mode:

  It may be best if you contact Microsoft support because this error is related to Windows. There may be a corruption in your operating system for when you upgraded.

  I read your post and see that you get an error "Scanner 22. I'd love to help you.

  Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Please follow this HP document a Message "Scanner Error 22" appears on the printer control panel. Make sure that the printer is connected to a live wall, not a surge protector.

  Please keep the lid of the scanner open and then press the copy button.

  Check if the scanner lamp turns or moves.

  Also to see if the scanner moves freely through the glass.

  I have a designjet 815mfp which has a designjet 4200 scanner. The scaners computer died and I am tring to use a new computer, but I can't find the drivers for the scanner. I found the CD - software scanning HP Designjet - Q1279-61001, but when I go to order it, my credit card will not cross. I tried several times this month with different cards. Is it possible to buy or download the drivers for this scanner?

• LaserJet M1212nf MFP: How can I download a driver for Laserjet. The site seems to be an endless loop

  I try to use my Laserjet M1212nf MFP as a scanner.  I'm trying to download the driver so that I can do.  Currently, I can only print and copy.  When I use the hp Web site, it asks for my product, and then when I select it I'm directed to a picture of him and it is said below download drivers that takes me back to find my product.  How do the driver?  How can I use my Laserjet as a scanner?

  I found the HP folder and was able to scan.  It has not put an icon on my desktop as did my previous installations.

• Designjet t1200 MFP: length Maximum of t1200 printer paper?

  "We're trying to print a poster of long (150 '') on our T1200 but when we enter the length and width (150 ' x 36') he continues to change the 150 to 129 ', which is in the box greyed out under the length of the custom paper box.

  Thanks Mike.  Tried a couple of things and finally decided to use the 5500PS driver.  Works like a charm.   Maximum length is now 150 feet!

  Mike, could you print past the 129 "max limit the driver t1300?

  Only downside, is that it there is no roll selection on the 5500, since it is a single roller machine the the t1200 is double rolls.  It comes default roll 1.  But for the banner occasionally use of impression, it will work very well.  The rest of the time, we can use the original driver T1200 and not lose the roll option.

  So now I use the driver of 5500 on a 1055 C and a T1200, as a 5500PS.  A versatile driver I would say!

  As much as I love my Surface RT, it makes me irritated when I can't download and run things directly from the webistes. Today, I saw that you could play a game of Star Wars, so I registered and there is a button that says download only to run in this message: ' cannot run this application on your PC ".". "  I know that Windows RT is not the same thing as other operating systems, BUT there will be changes? What the large Windows update? What is in it for us users of WIndows RT?

  Well, the RT runs a version of look-a-like, work-a-like 'false' of Windows 8.  It can only run programs available from the store because the ARM processor cannot perform whatever it is compiled with the x 86 code game (in other words, regular Windows/DOS programs).

  He will NEVER be able to run regular programmes.

  Bottom line, the Tablet you want is the model Pro and not the RT.  This thing will never run regular programs.  NEVER!

  The ARM processor is identical to that used in the Android tablets and phones.  It's a great achievement by Microsoft to port Windows 8 for the class of processor and do run.  They did the same thing with Microsoft Office Home & Student.

  This big update was to fix the problems with the Tablet and make changes to make it work better.  At the same time, they added Outlook RT and they also added a SCANNING utility for anyone who has a scanner or an MFP with a scanner which is taken in charge with the RT to be able to scan.

  The only best bet, you have in the management of all games, is that the game becomes available in store.  Many of these games there can be converted to the course.  Simply too large and demanding of resources.

  Download the Pro model, and you can run what you want because 'HE' has the Intel Core i5 processor and will run almost all programs on the market AND it has the power and the resources to run these games.

• DesignJet 815 MFP - The Scanner lamp will not turn off

  Before we had the controller and lamp replaced on our venerable 815 scanner card (i.e. before the last apparently got watered by a power surge), I seem to remember that the lamp will auto power off after a period of inactivity to prolong the life of the lamp.

  A new has served without interruption since a few days now, which is not healthy for me.

  I couldn't find anything in the settings, the manual online or on the auto layout PDF user guide... I just imagine that this was how things were at work? If it is SUPPOSED to shut down to protect the lamp, no one knows where this setting is hidden or how to turn it on?
