  I have some difficulties with the ATI driver. I have a Radeon HD2600 Mobility and in the past, my computer was working with the recovery CD drivers (drivers Catalyst 8.4 if I remember correctly).   I am currently updating of Windows and install all the rest, but I doubt it will change something. For now my graphics card is not recognized so no Aero, a bad screen resolution and everything is very slow.

  I put t have this laptop but I checked the Vista drivers on the European driver Toshiba page and all THE drivers for Vista and the graphics driver are available.

  The laptop seems to belong to the series of PSPB6E and I recommend to use the driver from the Toshiba page.

  Page ATI drivers are not supported and certified by Toshiba and so you will not be able to install it by using a common procedure

  Are you sure that the admin account has been activated and you are connected with the admin rights 1005?

  The driver package is called Intel Storage Manager.

  My CD/DVD-Rom device (toshiba SD-C2612) stopped working - it was still registered as a player, but would not read disks - so I got a replacement and not at all settled.

  I also noticed that in device - under IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers Manager - there is an "unknown device" which is called "hdc" (hard disk controller?) who doesn't have a driver installed and can not find new drivers when I update.
