  Hello! I had the HARDEST time trying to download PE9.  I lost him after the mac had malware and I had to take it to the Apple store. They said they had to wipe and reinstall everything.  I was told that I would lose all the apps.  But I did it.  PE9 lost.

  I can't believe!  I went to the download I did yesterday (and tried and tried to open but it says "unable to initialize the installation" over and over).  It WORKED tonight!  It is a mystery why she was giving me so much trouble yesterday!

  Hello

  You will be not able to do that, Creative Suite is locked on one operating system, then the license must be exchanged if you want the OS and install it on Mac.

  The only options are to purchase a second license for CS5 or upgrade to CC (which can be installed on WIN & MAC as they are not platform specific)

  Exchange a product for a different version of the language or platform

  Full features software is not available for the printer to Yosemite, which means capacity analysis technologies are available to Capture picture, Preview, etc., and OCR ois not included in the supplied software.

  For the OCR capabilities, you will need a 3rd party software, there are several professional provucts such as OmnIPage or Read IRIS... There are basic and more afforable such as VueScan solutions that provide OCR capabilities.
