  Write protection is a feature found on many different types of media. When the write protection is turned on, you will be able to view the information on the disc or USB key, but you won't be able to write or transfer information to it. Write protection is an element of protection which prevents accidental deletion of important data.

  To remove the write Protection, try these suggestions.

  Method 1:
  I suggest you to follow the steps and check if the problem persists.

  a. open 'My computer'.

  b. right-click on the USB key and select 'Properties'.

  c. uncheck the 'read-only' if it is enabled.

  Note: Click Yes when the option appears saying 'apply changes to subfolders and files writable in this folder '.

  d. click on 'apply' and 'Ok '.

  e. try to delete the files.

  Method 2:
  If the problem persists, I suggest trying the steps and check if that helps.

  a. open the Start menu and in the search bar type regedit and press enter. The Registry Editor opens.

  b. navigate to the following location:

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies

  Note: If the StorageDevicePolicies registry key does not exist, you must create it manually.
  c. highlight the Strategies of storage devicesand then create a new DWORD called (32-bit) as write protect.

  d. Double click on the key recording in the right window and set the value to 0 in the value data box , and then press the OK button.

  e. restart the computer and try formatting USB key.

  I agree with you and think it had something to do with a Windows Update. I got this computer with Windows 7 for a couple of years and it took until this month I got the problem. Cannot delete the photos when the card reader is on a Windows 10 computer either.

  Remove the cable first, make sure you have icons of printer in printers and faxes to this printer and make sure that you don't have another printer AiO or software, regardless of the HP, Brother, etc. If you have, you can choose one of the two. Download the full software from hp.com site and install that it will let you know when to plug the cable in and tada! Scan and everything works.

  -There are about 20 GB on the flash drive, so it is not complete.

  I hope someone can help me, because I really don't want not to waste my money on another flash drive that will just give me the same error.

  USB stick seems to be write-protected:

  Check if the USB has a little swich for write protection.

  2.
  Windows can write protect USB drives too. Check out the registry under
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies.
  The value 'WriteProtect' should be absent or set to '0'.

  3.
  Flash memory has a limited lifetime of about 100000 guaranteed write cycles. Most flash life much longer cells, but the cells that become defective must be replaced by reserve cells (defective block management). The flash controller handles this in the background. When all reserve cells are consumed, then the flash controller refuses all the write access. Then you can read your data and put the unit to recycling.
  This can happen even the drive was never even almost completely filled because the flash controller spread access write on all physical blocks to make sure that all cells are worn (wear levelling) equally.
  Unfortunately, USB flash drives have no standard mechanism to read their current state of health, as in hard disks. Therefore, always expect a USB flash drive to die at any time...

  I turned on my PC only to find out that there was a problem. As usual, I entered my password to connect to my user account. I tried to run "purposelss" desktop application. No, I couldn't access it. When I try to launch an application from the start screen, the start over refreshes and screen binks as if I pressed my Start button. The same thing happens with any other application. I can't access anything anyone at all. I can't turn off my PC. Help out me.

  Try the following:

  (1) reset store Cache - Windows key + R, type wsreset.exe, enter

  (2) sync your App store Licensing charms, updated settings APP, sync Licenses

  If the problem persists, run the following commands from a command prompt (Admin)

  (1) sfc/scannow reboot once completed.

  (2) dism.exe/Online/cleanup-image /scanhealth

  (3) dism.exe / online/cleanup-image /restorehealth Reboot and try Apps, if still the problem persists restart sfc / scannow and restart and check if it is resolved.

  I wrote a desktop application and extend so that it uses tinyMCE.  I used the example of 'Bee' as starting point.  'Bee' both my application fail to display bubble help when you hover over a button (like bold or italics) edition.  I traced the problem down and it seems to me that if the attribute "title" of the anchor element does not cause the text appear in a pop-up window.  To test this, I created a very small application with just the following HTML code:

  When shown in firefox or IE, this HTML shows the tip properly when you hover over the link, but the trick display correctly in the application of the AIR (under Windows XP).  If indeed, you click on the link, I noticed that the normal ToolTips of google do not show as well.

  There is a bug with the implementation of the AIR of the webkit browser, or I'm missing some configurations.

  I tried with both the SDK 2.0 and 2.5.

  ToolTips on items are not currently in the AIR. The problem has already been reported, and right now (#1521175) is being investigated.

  ToolTips that you are seeing the bee application are created by a library that you can find in/lib/tooltips, named wz_tooltip.js developed by http://www.walterzorn.com (site doesn't longer works). In order to get the lib folder you will need to unpack your air application, you can use a zip archiver to decompress the Bee.air file.

  I have a subscription to Adobe Story more. I tried to download the version of office for more than a week with no luck. I read all the forums I found and tried all the solutions proposed without success.

  Things I've done:

  -Downloaded air adobe directly from Web site.

  -updated story adobe after downloading air and download history retried.

  -restart the computer

  -attempt to download on several browsers.

  One thing I noticed, is that I can not really find application adobe air on my pc. The installer is present and whenever I try to open it I tells me that the air is already installed and updated.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm no computer expert, but I am capable enough to usually help out my own problems. However, it got away from me and I'm out of ideas.

I had running before leaving the first time are closed. I checked several different setting and nothing seems to work. Someone at - he heard of this problem and what someone aware of a resolution.
