Vista calendar: Mode monthly can't seem to show that an event starts in the morning. For example, I wanted to show that I am due to Gloria at 10:00. What appears is 10 Gloria. I need to make the distinction between am and pm. How to do this?

  • Sync of Smartphones blackBerry with vista calendar and address book

Hi, I am new to the Blackberry curve 8310 and Windows Vista.  I can't get my info from my Blackberry to engage contacts and the timing of Vista because it is not recognized by Blackberry.  Any suggestions are appreciated!

Hello. I am afraid that I did not understand all options regarding the synchronization of my 8310 with Vista calendar still; However, I had success sync my Blackberry with Contacts in Windows Vista, the other day.  After you load the Blackberry Desktop Software, go and click on synchronize, and then click the Configuration tab.  On this tab, click on the button "configure Synch... ».  This brings you to a screen that allows you to choose which office program you want to use to synchronize your info.  Select address book and then click on the "Settings" button... ».  Select Microsoft Outlook Express and click on "next >".  Select what kind of synchronization that you want to perform (if you want a clock 2 channels or just for the synchronization from your phone to the computer or the computer to the phone) and click on "next >", and then finish.  Go out and return to the Configuration tab, click the Sync tab and tap sync now.  Even if you have selected Microsoft Outlook Express for synchronization, to synchronize automatically with Windows Contacts for Vista.  (Or at least mine did).  I hope this helps!

HP has recently replaced my dead hard drive and I want to recover the Windows calendar file, but I can't find where it is stored.  I have a pretty good backup.  Anyone know?

In all honesty, it doesn't matter. Clear it if you want to save a few pieces of 10 cents. Put to sleep after a few hours of inactivity so he can come a little faster. Or leave it on if you want. You will find the advantages and disadvantages of each, and you can find people who swear by one or the other.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones VISTA calendar synchronization POSSIBLE?

    Hi all:

I have a BB Curve 8310 upgraded, updated it, and love.  My PC is a Dell 1721 AMD 64 X 2 laptop 32 bit running under Vista Home Premium SP1. I'm also using Desktop 4.6 Mgr. When I bought my computer, I also caught the MS Office 2007 Student.  Thus, the only mail electronic and calendar, I provided with VISTA not with OFFICE.  I've used both.  My email can be synchronized with my BB but not my calendar.  I understand that I must be using Outlook from Office (among others) which INCLUDES it's own calendar - which I did not.  My question is, is it possible that I can use my Windows calendar to synchronize with my BB calendar?  If not, is there a 3rd party calendar which runs easily on both?

    Thank you!

    Hello

You cannot synchronize the calendar with the calendar of BB of windows. You will need to go through a third-party calendar like Google Calendar.
    (1) sync with gcal cal victory
    (2) sync gcal with bbcal with Google Mobile Sync.

  • Satellite Pro A200 - graphic the glitch/corruption on desktop Vista (UPS windows sidebar)

    Hello

From time to time (difficult to predict), I get graphics glitches in Vista desktop, green spaces with clear rectangles in their.

    See example here: [http://i36.tinypic.com/2vsjkvr.jpg].

This occurs in the sidebar or the upper windows.

I have a Satellite Pro A200 with ATI HD2600 256 k - certainly powerful enough for Vista graphics - and the operating system is the image of Toshiba more Microsoft updates and all the updates from Toshiba for my model.

Someone else has something like this and find a solution?

    Thank you!

    Hello

Looks more like a graphics card problem
You said it happens is that this means that if you start the laptop everything displays correctly and after awhile of use of this problem appears?

Perhaps a higher internal temperature affects the graphics chip and this is why this display problem appears.

Just a question; Have you tried to update the graphics driver?
    You should do this certainly

But if the question will always be, the chances are high that a hardware malfunction causing this display problem.

  • Shortcut on the desktop Vista

Desktop shortcuts Vista will not open programs, even if they are in the start/programs menu. Tried right click on the program and adding to the office but same result.

Thank you!! You guys do a great service in providing solutions to problems for novices like me. However, as soon as I posted my question, I remember restoration system and as a result has used. I received an error message saying that the system restore was not successful and no changes. Despite the fact, upon restarting my system, my desktop shortcuts have been restored. Thank you, anyway.

  • Laptop is Wind7 desktop Vista Home

I'm looking for getting a new laptop.  All of them come with installed Windows7.  My office is only a year old and has Vista Home on it.  My question is these two systems will work together?  I don't want to spend 200.00 on a new copy of 7 just so I can use the two together.  I am trying to build a home network and want to retrieve data via a liaison wifi of my desktop hard drive and external for my laptop.  Will this work?

    Kenny

    Hello

Yes, you can network them together. Quite easily actually. Just make sure that you place the files that you want to access shared folders (public folders work best, but you can easily share any non-system folder). • Could not start the desktop Vista after installing Windows Vista SP2, error: 0XC0190036.

    Original title: vista sp2 problem.

I have a laptop that I haven't used in a while.  I took on a trip and received the message that the updates are available.  One was SP2.  After the update is complete, it failed to start with a message OXC0190036.

Startup Repair said that he could not solve the problem.  Restoration of the system has not only restore - labeled SP1 and it allows you to finalize the restoration of files and stays there.  (I waited for 3 hours without change).
I have a XP install disc that I used before installing Win 7 on my desktop, but it does not give me the opportunity to do an installation.

    Hello

XP disk will not help you to fix Vista

As the system restore does not try a startup repair and / or a restoration of the system using a Microsoft Vista DVD

Manufacturers recovery disks normally do not have Service Options; they are normally a relocation to the factory only settings option.

Here is the guide to repair Options using a Vista DVD from Microsoft.

If a friend or a work acquantance of yours has one, you can borrow and use it for repairs.

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/repair-Windows-with-Windows-Startup-Repair/

    Table of contents

    1. Overview of Windows Vista repair options
    2. How to perform an automatic repair of Windows Vista using Startup Repair
    3. Advanced Tools Overview
    4. Conclusion

If you do not or can not borrow a Microsoft DVD there is a download of a file ISO of Vista Startup Repair available that you can put on a Bootable floppy to make the above startup repair and that the method is recommended by a large number of posters in these Forums.

Unfortunately, you have to buy it.

Here is a link to it:

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

And here are a few ways to reinstall Vista.

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.
