• How to get the Slide Spry function to remember the Position?

  I'm building a site with a horizontal bar that dynamically loaded thumbnails of images, and the user can click on the left arrow or right arrow to 'slide' left and right images (kinda like Netflix interface more recent, if you saw that). In order to do fast ' n' easy, I used the Spry (SpryEffects.js) effects - in particular, the function of slip (MM_effectSlide() or Spry.Effect.DoSlide ()).

  I would like the user to click on the right arrow and see the next, say, 10 images, then the next 10 years and so on. To do this, I created a long DIV inside another "masking" DIV and Spry said to slip inside the DIV. It all works well.

  However, I have difficulty getting the Spry to start from the CURRENT position and drag it to a new location. If I let the option "go" as null, it always starts in one position other than the current position.

  Does anyone have any tips/pointers/suggestions? I'm rather not recreate the entire functionality of Javascript, but rather hack the current functions of Spry.

  It seems to me that if you use the functionality of Spry evil. To do what you want, you Spry sliding panels.

  Unfortunately, Spry sliding panels are not incorporated into Dreamweaver, you should encode everything yourself. The documentation is here:

  Is it not possible to have text for a legend of the slide show effects? I would like to have a shadow effect for the text to stand out in the image of the slide. I click on the image, but the impact is gray. If this isn't the case, I'll have to resort to placing it text hidden above the image Photoshop itself.

  what I try to do is animate the text on different slides in a slide show, where each slide has different effects and text. If I can't do that, what anyone has any ideas?

  There are several answers to various parts in your question:

  -You can place the edge entertainment in compositions (not in slideshow);

  -Scroll of parts or of the effects of scrolling in a Composition are more difficult;

  (- let slide shows meet your roll is a characteristic third effects Panel).

  The only problem, I expect, is to know how to display 100% width ?

  Slideshows can be presented to the width of the browser, but not of Compositions ...

  And it would be less convenient build all in an animation.

  We overlook something?

  I work on several AE/first projects on a Pavilion M6 laptop and have a few drives that I use for storage/cache/export media and wonding what will be the best way to use each of them, or if I have to. My internal drive is a Sandisk SSD / 3 Gb/s, my second drive is a WD MyPassport 256 GB USB 2.0 5400 RPM HARD drive and my third is a Cruzer Sandisk Extreme 32 GB 3.0 USB flash drive. I'm on a HP Pavilion M6-1035DX if you need the system specs to make a decision. I currently have all my files on the MyPassport (because the extreme Cruzer flash drive isn't there yet) and wonder if I should:

  
  

  1. keep the media files on the MyPassport, run AE & first (and store the cache) on my flash SSD drive internal and export to the extreme Cruzer (when it happens here)
  2. or, move my project files and media at the Extreme Cruzer and run AE & first (and store the cache) on my SSD internal because the SSD is faster than the USB 2.0 drive (speeds of connection and read/write, USB 2.0 vs and vs 5400 RPS HDD SSD SATAII)
  3. or, move my project files and media at the extreme Cruzer, run AE & first on my internal SSD, and store the cache on my MyPassport (so it is not on the same drive as my project files, programs, or support)
  4. or, another configuration that I didn't think

  
  

  I have a lot of places that you must use three drives for editing and motion graphic video, but because there are so many technologies and potential bottlenecks involved I want to make sure I do it right/effectively.

  With all the reading and writing underway, on the startup disk, it is understandable that you need a dedicated disk (s) (number of) for video editing, especially with the bandwidth required when the length of the clip is short and the number of titles exceeds and uses a codec more complex than DV. The kind of files that are used during editing are, in order of their need for speed:

  1. Database cache cache media & media files created on the import of media in a project. They contain indexed, consistent audio and files peak for waveform display.

  
  Generally small files, but many of them, so ultimately they still occupy a lot of space.
• Created during Preview (made) files of the timeline is executed for the purpose of the preview, the red bar turned green. Read all the time during the preview of the time line.
• Project files, including backup project files, automatic that constantly read and recorded as written when and automatic backup files save your changes.
• Media files, the original video material ingested from tape or card based cameras. Usually long files, used only for playback, since PR is a non-destructive Editor.
• Export files, created in the timeline is exported to its final delivery format. These files are usually only written once and often vary from several hundred KB to a few tens of GB.

When you are doubt which category of files to put on what type of disc, especially when you use the SSD and HDD, remember that the speed advantage of SSDS on the HARD drives is most notable with the cache of media & media cache database. These files frequently access, are small and there are many, thus reducing latency and seek time and transfer increasing rate payer off the coast by putting them on an SSD, rather than on a HARD drive, even if it's a raid0. Export files can go slower on your system, since volume export you only once. To help you decide, I added row-numbers of priority for speed, for the fastest volume 1 and 5 for the less demanding category in speed.

  I have added a mouse action down to the images of 'Heroes' and related photos full size.

  It is not the possibility of more elegant, but add a slide show to every image on the page looks a little awkward and seems difficult to change.

• Help on the realization of technicolor effect

  Hi guys,.

  I am a little confused and hoping that maybe someone has an idea to share. In fact, this should be relatively easy, unfortunately, I'm at a loss to get a similar effect of double exposure vintage technicolor. Attachment image shows what I was hoping to achieve.

  What is me stumping is how to achieve the RGB and CMYK mix colors of the WITHOUT. For example, the magenta and cyan do not mix to make blue. I am also having a hard time to make darker exposures (as in the picture) without losing details.

  Here is what I tried:

  -hide and then paint with a blending mode

  -paint directly with a blending mode

  -setting and each color separately masking

  -with a soft brush to paint the areas - but I still have a mixture

  If someone has encountered similar tutorials with distinct colors such as these with the help of a double exposure do not hesitate to pass it on. I searched high and low for something similar to ensure I have acceptable knowledge in double exposure and selections of color, but no dice.

  Put all images on different layers and set the blending mode of all, but the wallpaper. Then, for each layer, go to the channels Panel and fill in the colors you want no black.

  

  In this screenshot, layer 1 is a copy of your image, I made three copies and then as I've described.

• Help, please! Photoshop and After Effects launched fail.

  Photoshop and After Effects seem to stop working after I run them. After effects starts telling me I don't have Quicktime and then begins to open a window only to remain a Virgin and tell me it has stopped working. Photoshop comes same pop opens a window.

  

  Adobe Flash is the only one that seems to work when I open it up.

  I'm in Windows 8.  This all started when I installed the drivers for my new Bamboo Pen and Touch. I hope that's not the problem since I bought it only for Photoshop and Flash. I have creative cloud.

  I am struggling with trying to figure out how to customize the size and the location of the legend boxes within each image in a slide show. It seems that, once an initial caption box has been set in the first image, it appears in images to the same location and size, with no way to control them individually. I forgot something? Is there a way to customize the size and location of all the legends in a slide show? Your help/advice would be greatly appreciated.  ~ Thank you

  MCO, I had the same question and it has helped me:

  Thumbnail with release of the slide show:

  1. go to slide show options and check the thumbnail option. (Doing so the tiles will become visible)

  2. follow the same steps given under "Slideshow with thumbnail" updated legends

  3. once the captions are up to date, go to slide show options and disable thumbnails.

  (If your slideshow thumbnails, just use to select individual screens, where you can change your captions)
