When installing the new motherboard (same part No.: 443775-001) and insert the recovery (bought from HP) discs that I have, I received an error message stating that the PC could not be recovered using my disks. The serial numbers on the label service and in my bios do not match. When I entered the serial number of my bios in HPpartsurfer, he said that the system is a DV6449us.   I just started getting this error in the last month.  It only happens when I start my computer.  I started to use Windows Live Mail Beta.  Would this have something to do with it?

  I'm fairly certain that this has nothing to do with Windows Live Mail beta - but it does not sound like a startup program any want a disc in the drive and that is what causes the problem.

  To boot from the hard drive, first of all, in the boot sequence, you may need to change the BIOS to hard drive first in the boot sequence (it is not always necessary and I have my system set to start first on the CD player and have no problem - but you have problems so we'll see if that fixes the).  To do this, hold the screen that tells you the key F to push to enter the menu start or start of installation.  Push it quickly. Make the changes, save your work and exit.  While there, make sure that there is no setting to boot the disk hard regardless of the boot sequence.  Reset.  Normally, it should start without the error message.

  If this does not work, go to start / search area and type msconfig.exe and enter, and double-click on the program icon that appears.  Go to the Startup tab and remove all checks, click OK, close the program and reboot and see if the problem persists.  If this isn't the case, then the problem is caused by something trying to boot at startup, and you may need to add the items back one by one, restarting after each one, until you find the culprit at the origin of the problem.  Then let this disabled element, double-check all the others that you actually want from startup, click OK, close the program and restart.  The problem should be solved.  If it's not working, then go back and re-check items that have been checked, click OK, and save the program and restart.  You'll be back to where you started, but we will have eliminated a very likely cause.

  I was recently asked to repair my brother DELL laptop.  The HARD drive failed and the system unusable.  I replaced the HARD drive and installed Windows 7 Home Premium x 64 (earlier version of windows) from my own installation media.  The recovery partition had survived the failure of HARD drive, I would have just cloned that and used, but this was not an option in this case.

  The problem that I am experiencing, is that windows don't will not activate, saying that the key is not valid.  I was told that installing Windows 7 media would work with a retail or an OEM key, but that doesn't seem to be the case.  The key OEM I use, is from the computer it came from originally, and the only material change is the new HARD disk.

  I try to avoid ordering an OEM Dell installation CD, as which costs money (I already have my own installation CD) and takes time (why do they have them available for download?).

  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  This issue may be caused if one of the many reasons as USB driver are corrupt or unstable PC requires an update for problems that could conflict with an external USB hard disk, Windows may be missing other problems hardware or software updates.

  Try these methods and check.

  Method 1: Uninstall and reinstall the USB controllers.

  Try reinstalling the Device Manager USB controllers and check.

  Uninstall and reinstall the USB controllers will not affect the USB port, as when restarting the computer/laptop as it gets reinstalled automatically.

  1. Press key Windows + X on the keyboard.
  2. Go to device Manager.
  3. Expand the Controllers USB, click drivers.

  No, this isn't possible; e by a trigger.  Relax, you have created is a statement after trigger, so it fires after the insert statement is complete.  In the first example, you have 4 separate SQL statements, so the trigger is activated after each statement.  In your second example, you have a single SQL statement that affects the 4 lines, if the trigger is activated once the end of the statement.

  The number of inserted rows is reported since sqlplus (the client), based on what the engine SQL in the database said he did.  Since there is only a single statement engine SQL reports 4 lines inserted at the client, not four row insertions.

  What problem are you trying to solve with this approach?  In General, dbms_output is not much used in production code, except occasioanlly as a simple debugging tool.

  I have an InDesign document that I worked on recently, a large document with many links and placed of vectors, however seconds after opening the InDesign file suddenly crashes.

  We have the same problem on several Mac and tried to separate the file of its related files/pictures, but also the document fonts, without success.

  Is there a way we can convert this to a .idml or otherwise without paying over the odds for a company to recover it?
