  First of all, I need advice on how to display an extremely large Setup log in this thread (on MacRumors, it is a method to insert a 'code' in a small box that can be the object of a scrollbar if necessary to read all along).  I am unable to find such a method to post here.

  Then once approved, I need help to determine which component is causing the installation to fail and perhaps this element can be omitted from the installation:

  

  If this element is not required, then maybe FCP6 can be installed successfully without it.  And if that omitted element is necessary, perhaps a manual method to install it can be determined by pacifists.

  I'm trying to put in place a db on a Web site search tool using mdb and dw in ASP. have THEY put in place. Tested OK. Have used ms help pages (printed some) and the DW 8 missing manual to:

  Configure and test a connection string to a database and it is fine.

  Set up to search with a single parameter and it tests OK.

  Configure the results page and it tests OK too.

  I can display the search page and the results page by using the toolbar search engine address and local host by IIS installation and this is very good.

  Unfortunately, when I test the search page and use a proper search for the db password, the results page displays very well with the titles of the table, but no data. I am highly dependent on the ease of DW and I'm not much on the code.

  I tried a lot of different things, but there are so many possibilities! I tried GET and POST. I think that the problem is either in the original report send the form data to the server, the mdb data collection or data display in the final table, although it's conjecture. It covers almost all areas. Also I don't know if "repeat" in the table may have something to do with it.

  If anyone can help me with some general ideas on how I can be able to go forward. I was at this point for about a week.

  OK, you're text field is named "textfield", but the query string you are testing for is called "search". They must be named the same.

  I don't know why you are populating the form field with a value of query string. The value does not exist because there is no field named "search". And the sending of the form (EEG) is what creates the query string that uses the results page.

  Rename the textfield object in your 'Search' form and it should work.

  So I need help either direct tutorial or someone to point me in the direction of something useful.

  Strike what I said about the code being fine.  It is not (my eyes just woke up).  This is a correct coding for the way you had it.  To have the button share the same function of handler you need another approach that tests for which the button is clicked.  Instead of this approach, below I show each button has its own manager function...

• Need help with error code 0 x 80070424 and 0x6D9

  I need help please!  Spent an entire day trying to figure this even ONCE!  When I try to change my windows firewall settings I get error code 0 x 80070424.  I worked at it so long, I forgot when I get the error 0x6D9 code.  But here is my BIGGEST problem, my computer won't let me do DOWNLOADS at all.  I even checked to make sure that the downloads are enabled in my internet settings.

  Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

• Need help with a strange crash problem

  Hi guys,.

  I use Firefox on Windows 7 32 bit 14.0.1. The problem is that every few minutes my browser crashes. The memory usage appears on the rise and until you reach a point where it causes Firefox to crash.

  In safe mode, the problem occurs. So, naturally I tried disabling all my Add-ons to reactivate them one by one and try to find the offending module. This is where it gets strange.

  After I disabled all my modules and even all the plugins, the problem was still persistent. If Firefox works in mode safe, but out of safe mode with all my Add - ons disabled the problem persists.

  If at this point I don't really know what to do. I guess that safe mode is something I haven't thought to do, but I don't know what. The problem any help will be much appreciated.

  OK, yes the problem is caused by hardware acceleration. My browser works well now that it is disabled. Apparently, this has something to do with the latest AMD video drivers:

  I've recently updated to the latest drivers and now I get this problem. I figured it was something to do with it. Apparently, these problems have occurred since 12 FF. This should really be sorted.

  I'll just use FF without hardware acceleration for the moment, but I hope that we see a fix for this in the next version. Or if it's actually a problem with the AMD drivers, if all goes well they will get into it. Anyway, it needs a fix.

• Desperately need help with my old Vostro 1510 which does not start!

  My old Vostro 1510 (my tried & true), I had for 7-8 years under XP Pro SP3.  Its really been a good little machine, but only started to have problems... Yesterday was the BSOD with the 07th code.  Do system restore from the command through the splash screen prompt & if necc doing the XP restore CD & same BIOS reset if being researched necc.

  So I tried to do the system restore to an earlier time with the button F8 at startup... blue screen then said that I had a windows configuration config 32 corruption & I need to use the recovery disk...

  Could not get a cd on the internal disk but finally prevailed in now the eject button then re start the computer.

  I guess it was a mistake to put the restore cd right there because nothing happened, just a black screen... I had to force close by pulling the battery because it is not closed in any other way.

  Tried to restart & it makes the usuall start noise, the "can" symbol lights up at the top of the keyboard along w / all the three symbols to "lock" near her but NOTHING happens... black screen & I cannot get the disc in the CD drive.

  I'm contemplating manually pulling the CD with a paper clip, but wanted to post my question here before I do & ruin even worse.

  I have a newer dell laptop as I expected that to meet his maker someday, but I have pictures on my old I need to save!  You think I would have a copy of these images, but of course I did not!  I don't care if old dies, but I really need these photos because they have great sentimental value.

  Can someone help me restore an old long enough to get my pictures of her?

  First of all, your cheating XMLList length is only 1. I like to use E4X rating rather than the old children() as you're here, so I might suggest to change this:

  I'm trying to replicate a simple if/then statement excel in a PDF form. Have tried several things, but am just not a scripter Java.  The hope that I could get help from the community.

  I have three boxes that contain information on costs. They are labeled LaborCost, MaterialCost & EquipmentCost. Later, in the form, I have two boxes of different output for the sum out of my first three boxes.  If it's a positive number and the other is a negative number.  In Excel forumla language, that's what each of the boxes would read as:

  For the 1st result if it is a positive number: @if (+ LaborCost + MaterialCost + EquipmentCost > 0, + LaborCost + MaterialCost + EquipmentCost, 0)

  I think that this should be a simple thing to write, but I'm not familiar with the games of the appropriate language.

  I'm trying to create a simple database in number to capture the case IDs on my place of work. After you have entered a value in the worksheet 1 details must automatically added to sheet 2.   I have used mappoint 2006 for years and love it, but I can't make it work on my new computer. the program works well, but whenever I try to configure the gps it says that no receiver is cdetected. I have my hip mappoint gps receiver and it is lit / when I plugged in a first time he said that the driver was not installed corectly, but I'm lost right now
