  Hi, Shada, this can happen if you include additional installers to your installer for example DAQmx. When you do this the installation program must include other files like MAX (Measuremente and Automation Explorer). Probably when you installed Vision Builder he updated MAX, so when your Installer try to understand MAX, his request the source where it was installed in your computer in this case Vision Builder.

  Here you can cache information so it is not asked once again, or you can download a version more recent fo DAQmx, then it will update MAX and change the dependecy.

  My task:

  -Take photos with a camera (Photonfocus MV-D1024E-160) connected to a PCIe-1427 OR Framegrabber) at a speed about 300 fps in freerunning mode

  -Measurement of signals with a digitizer PCI-5922 to kS 500 per second

  -Store all the data on the disc

  Now I must find the time window of the Signal digitizer exactly at the time the image was taken.

  What your concept would do something like that. (I use the niScope and Vision)

  I made a few first tests using the:

  -Sync starts timed Structures VI

  -Use the overall time of start/end of a loop timed as the timestamp

  -There is also a line of State microsecond stored in each photo (I could use for the moment)

  Last but not least:

  -How you realize the DTX200

  -I have tryes with securing the data of the image and the digitizer in separate binary files (PDM would be the best option?)

  -Would you use queues?

  I m happy for each indicator of concept! Just write if you need more detailed information!

  Thanks much for the advice. After much effort, I arrived at the following solution:

  I m happy if you or someone else has any comments thereon (such things is quite advanced for me):

  Two VI´s at the same time independent (see attachments)

  (A) consumer/producer of image

  (B) digitizer consumers/producers

  In addition to data I also course start time of world of the loop timed for each data set (afterwords I understand Images signals digitizer using this timestamp)

  (A) consumer/producer of image

  Appendix A: after initialization of the acquisition of the image (upper left). "I have a producer (top) loop that generates an array of 8-bit image data and the Global timestamp of the timed loop). The loop of consumer (bottom) to remove the cluster and saves each image in a binary file with the timestamp of nanoseconds as file name. Like this I m in images of the camera stream on hard drive at about 150 frames per second at full resolution (1024 * 1024 pixels) and still more quickly at low resolution (with a return on investment)

  (B) digitizer consumers/producers

  for the database layer, the installer provides an OPTION that allows you to
  ONLY install the (demonstration of Vision database) and NOT the (new installation)?
  
  If so, can you point me to some documentation on how this is achieved and that a

  According to the manual 'quick install', page 2-9, it says:
  DIRECT QUOTE - "you can install a new database or a database of demonstration of Vision."
  From this quote, I guess that we can install the demo database, without having to install a database of fresh PROD.
  Don't you think that my assumption is correct?

  Your assumption is correct, but you should consider that quick install will also install the application part also in addition to the database.

  You can either install a fresh database (including the part of the application), but this database is clean (no data), and usually it is used for production after you make the necessary functional configuration OR a vision of the demo database (including the part of the application), and this instance is ready for use as functional configuration is already out in the database (used for demonstration purposes).

  If you are doing a new installation--> you'll need about 90 GB (55 for the database that is clean and 35 GB of application).
  If you do a vision--> you install will need approximately 260 GB (225 for the database which includes configuration data and 35 GB of application).

  I added a cus 06/25/10, wanted to shorten the google search and navigation bars to see, but can't. Have re-installed the google toolbar, have chosen the version of firefox as my default tool bar and can then change the width, but when a box shortens the other if extension always fill the width of the screen. Customize toolbar doesn't give any options to reduce the width of toolbar, I am at a total loss. Would love suggestions if you have correctly fixed this.

  The Magnifier and on-screen keyboard can also help (left at Control Panel - Accessibility Options).

  The mouse pointer options can also help, but this can depend on the mouse software installed. You can adjust the size of the pointer and leave trails of (temporary) pointer for example...

  • Click the mouse (if you are using the category view you will need to click on printers and other peripherals first)

  What you describe is quite complex, but here are a few tips.  The key is to establish a correlation between the coordinate system of the robot to the coordinate system of the camera.  I guess that the camera is statically located above the pick-up area?  I move the robot at each corner of the frame to its choice position vertically and note the position of the robot at these locations.  These 4 points in space will be correlated to X, coordinates of pixels in the camera image.  Basically, you need to write a sub - VI with entries being pixel X and is coordinated and coordinates output being the robot.

  Writing a test application saying the robot to get pixel location to any X, Y in the framework to test your Subvi.  If this does not work, then you need to set up a correspondence to the model.  You probably want to do a geometric pattern match.  Take a look at this example: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/5555

  You will need your pattern match algorithm to return both the coordinates for your robot, and the orientation of the tool needed for good pick up the object (if the pick-and-place robot tool requires to be in a specific direction).  If it's basically up to you will convert the object X, Y and rotation angle in the framework that you receive correspondence from model to any coordinate system, the robot uses.

  The placement algorithm could be simply an adjustment of orientation to the object being investment and then investment positions could be an array of coordinates of robot which you browse after each pick.

  Be sure to implement security mechanisms in your algorithms so that the robot can never go somewhere outside of a safe range of coordinates.

  in your case applies the first photo: LabVIEW vs VISION!

  And it shows it clearly: you can use any version VISION from2011 with LabVIEW2011VISION.

  But to use LabVIEW2013 , you need to install VISION2013 (or newer).

• CS3 and how to remove the mark of the Vision?

  I use InDesign CS3 with an iMac running OS 10.5.8...  When you work with InDesign files, I try to save the file at fairly close intervals.  Whenever I try to 'SAVE AS', Vision Cue appears and I think that have to work my way through the hierarchy of the tiles to find the save location.  Try to "save under", ten minutes later, and the Vision of Cue problem happening again.  For a stand-alone computer and a single user, Vision Cue is a TOTAL PAIN IN THE NECK.  So, is there a reasonable way to remove it?  All the instructions I can find on the web seem to be incredibly complicated.  Thanks for any help and advice that may be available.  Carl Thomas

  Have you tried the direct approach: InDesign > Preferences > file management and uncheck enable Version Cue?

  Another remedy that helps me with this problem is to get an optometrist to prescribe glasses to use on the computer, for me, it is glasses that allow for better vision 20 ' away and are not bifocals glasses which make me look up of uncomfortable way in order to see.  AO said that now they have some computer glasses which are also the bifocals (let see you near and far together in a pair).
