Destructive recovery install not complete
I did a cover of destroyer, the two usng the hard disk and using the disks that I made when the pc has been delivered.
I can't start my pc - in safe mode it claim that installation is not finalized. Any ideas what to do?
Problems making a plant factory full destructive usually indicate a defective hardware. Communicate with technical support of computer mftr. clearing-up. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

I had the same error before after 6 months of purchase. My laptop is fixed by HP support team. A paper I got from HP says HDD and RAM replaced to solve the problem.
Warranty expired a couple months back. I'll ask experts to guide me how to solve the error above.

I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question on your HP ENVY 15 t-j100 Quad Edition CTO Notebook and problems with the installation of the new HARD drive. I would reinsert the hard drive to make sure that all connections are tight. I recommend to restore the default BIOS settings. You could restore the BIOS withthis document by selecting the reload the default BIOS settings. In this way, it will look at the hardware installed on your laptop.Here is a link to test the hard drive in the BIOS. If the BIOS does not see the hard drive you can not install Windows.

Is anyway I can get the software little or no cost to fix this?... I also added more ram and I so a concert instead of 80 GB, what options should I? Please help if you can that turns into a nightmare!... I don't use anti-virus software and Microsoft security essentials is the only security I use, I do a maintenance when necessary

Pavilion dv7: recovery does not completely end
Replaced the bad hard disk 750 GB with a 500 GB hard drive. It cannot make recovery because the new disk is smaller than the old disk, make itself a 'Factory Reset'. All recovery disks are read without problems. Once I hit the button continue, the computer is restarted and the HP displayed logo, however nothing happens after that. It is supposed to be the copy all drivers, but nothing ever happens. Am I missing a step?
There may be a problem with the set of recovery disks. You may have to contact HP and are considering the purchase of a recovery USB.

I have WINDOWS VISTA and just tried to reinstall my laptop of restoration on a HARD disk partition.

Well - here I answer to my own problem in case someone else has the same problem. The second disk files recovery finally finished loading after 20 hours of waiting! I spoke to two different technicians to support HP on the phone and neither one of them told me that it could take a long time to load the files! One of them had me arrested and again after about 40 minutes of waiting. I found it totally by accident after having frustrated and leaving it just stay there all night. Amazing! The rest of the restore procedure went well after that - I think. I'm always load all other software, files and updates, 2 days later. The hard drive on this dog only lasted a year.
