  Setup of cartridges ran out of ink.  Bought a combo pack and replaced all of them at once.  Regularly we would get a message that one or more cartridges have been damaged.  It would remove the one at once and reinstall and it works again for a while, then the message would get back to the top.  After several types of this problem we started to replace each cartridge one at a time to try to isolate the damaged cartridge.  No luck.  Now we have two complete sets of ink cartridges and it still gives the message that a cartridge is damaged.  New message today is that transport of ink can not move and we should remove the obstruction and try again.  There is no obstruction.  When we close the door to the box the cartridge carriage move and made a loud BANG.  Looks like it moves to the left.  Then it will pass through its preparation and the message arrives that the one or more ink cartridges are damaged.  UGH!

  Since your printer is under warranty I think contact you HP.  The coding Strip is fragile and it would be better to replace professionally if it was an option.

  I can also read and write using the input and the output stream.

  However, I must be able to detect when the port is disconnected from the remote device. I was thinking of using BluetoothSerialPortListener. To use this I try to connect to the device using this method:

  I connect to a Bluetooth device using code very similar to yours, with two exceptions:

  (1) you use info [i] m:System.NET.SocketAddress.ToString () as the first parameter, I just use the equivalent of the info [i]

  (2) I use BluetoothSerialPort.BAUD_115200,

  The listener receives disconnects because I expect.

  The messages that I see when you debug this re as follows:

  BT: allocSerialPort 814ee52c
  BT: BTEVENT_LINK_CONNECT_CNF
  NET. RIM. Bluetooth: DC00
  BT: BTEVENT_LINK_POLICY_CHNG received
  NET. RIM. Bluetooth: EC00

  This test has been done on a 8900 4.6.1.199 is running.

  Tools > Options > advanced > network and disk space

  Click on the button "offline."
  When starting:
  Select: "always starting online.

  Send no messages when going online
  Select: 'Ask Me '.

  Download offline messages when you go offline?
  suggest "Ask Me".

  Click 'OK' to save the settings offline
  Click 'OK' to save the changes to the Options.

  Create an e-mail message to yourself and use the option Send later to put it in the Outbox.

  Close and reopen Thunderbird.

  You should get the prompt asking you to send by e-mail.
  If you click Yes, and then will be sent the e-mail in the Outbox.
