Detection of contours in the HDL node

I used a knot of HDL to interface vhdl code in labview. The code should simply turn an led 'on' and 'off' when a button is pressed or relased, respectively. But when I run the code, the LED will remain off despite pressure on the button or not.

I'm not good in VHDL PROGRAMMIN but I need to demonstrate how to use the node VHDL to my presentation. Can someone help me with the button (or latch releasing proportionally) edge detection. ?

I use sb - RIO and Labview 8.6 FPGA module.

    We will perform a few data capture high speed by using a number of cards SMU-6537.

    Once we captured the data we need to re - charge and to decipher. One of the steps in this decryption will require detection of outlines on specific lines, the data recorded. Traditionally, in a language such as C++, the code would be loop keeping previous comparison of data values. It seems to me that LabVIEW can be a little more intelligent than that, if we knew where to look. Is there a better way, for example replay data through a simulated map? Load the data into a structure and perform a function call to this topic? (We expect a lot of data, so we will not be able to load it all in at once)

    Thanks for your post on the forum.

    Just to confirm, you want to 'Acquire' continuous data (storing in a file) then "Generate" output based on the data stored after some post-processing/decryption.

    The SMU-653 x series of HSDIO cards use the functions of 'DAQmx API' (known as the VI in LabVIEW) for these tasks. Unfortunately, you will not be able to use a card "simulated" such as those in 'Measurement and Automation Explorer' to re-read data, simulated maps are used to configure tasks, testing and coding of materials who has yet to buy, their output is fixed.

    I can refer you to some (linked below) examples that illustrate how calls DAQmx API allows to acquire and generate data.

    Example - DAQmx: Acquisition of continuous digital high speed for the 6536/6537 (continuously acquires the data stored in RAM on the card)

    Example - build permanently and acquire Source synchronous data with software comparison

    That you connect to the file, I can recommend using ' Producer/consumer' architecture by which data are queued in FIFO memory as it is acquired, so the acquisition loop can run at a faster pace. The data are removed in the second loop of written and lower priority in the file.

    Your data will then be "loop through" as you would in C++, the post-processing/decryption will be then performed before that data is written through the card.

  • Problem importing HDL node VHDL

    Hi everyone, I'm using the HDL node in LabVIEW 8.6 for trying to import a VHDL design created using the of Matlab Simulink HDL coder. The problem I encounter is that design includes a state machine that HDL Coder created a separate VHDL file that the high-level VHDL to reference. At present, I found no way to tie the knot of HDL correctly this listing.

    I have attached the files VHDL, both "as generated" by the HDL coder and a version that I modified to make it compatible with the HDL node (as for change of clk_enable to enable_in).  The QEI.vhd is top level refers to the State in FSM.vhd machine. If someone could suggest a way to integrate the latter into the HDL node then it would really help my (very) limited VHDL.

    p.s. An idea that I think might work, but I'm not able to do (due to lack of knowledge of VHDL) would be to take the contents of FSM.vhd and include it in QEI.vhd. If someone could suggest a way to do that, then I'm pretty sure that would also solve the problem.

    I managed to do a rather rough work-around to combine the two files that I'm pretty happy with for the time being.

  • Cannot find the HDL Interface node

    I have MyRio and LabView 2014 with all modules installed and updated to date.

    Xilinx 2014 is also installed and I can compile for FPGA.

    However, in the block diagram I find interface HDL node for the import of VHDL code. As see you in the second screenshot.

    How can I solve this problem?

    There are no node integration IP in 2014 of LabView. Use instead the HDL Interface Node.

    How oracle decides which node be deported upon detection of split brain when all nodes have written in the voting record, but unable to check the heart rate through interconnection.

    the complexity of this depends on the amount of nodes in the cluster and how is isolated (and how), but generally speaking "the cluster creates an invisible group (cohorts) between nodes, which could potentially cause corruption and should be resolved. » Oracle Clusterware manages the "split brain" scenario in putting an end to all nodes in the smallest cohort. "If the cohorts are the same size, the cohort with the smallest number node inside survives." (Cited in Apress - Expert Oracle RAC diagnostic Performance and Tuning by Murali vandenberghe)

  • Could not start the 2nd node - Exception ' this cluster node failed to deserialize the config java.io.StreamCorruptedException: invalid type: 100.

    I use a single node of consistency on Solaris 10, 64-bit 1.7 JVM. It works very well. However, the problems start when I'm trying to start a 2nd node of Eclipse running on the JVM 64-bit Windows that is configured exactly the same as on Solaris. Observing these two newspapers JVMs, I can see that each node detects the other, however, the node that was started the 2nd always gets the exception below and ends. It doesn't matter on what OS I starts it's always the 2nd JVM that gets this error.

    What can be wrong? What is my config? If it wasn't, why the first node set up and working properly?

    I'm still working on the resumption of this problem that AxshunJaxun has been able to help me to diagnose properly.

    I have since received support from HP recovery and bought a new HARD drive that needs to be an improvement on the part of the plant. And I spent part of yesterday and most of the work now on the process of recovery without success (several failed attempts).

    I get a message "failed to retrieve" Application Recovery Manager with the message of the specific details of:

    [2:37:49.82] ChkErrBB.CMD: detect an error in the PININST_BBV.
    [2:37:49.82] ChkErrBB.CMD: check c:\system.sav\logs\BurnBootWarn.log
    [2:37:49.82] ChkErrBB.CMD: or, visit c:\system.sav\logs\BurnBootMerge.log

    (The two. LOG files do not exist on the C: partition, which is here.)

    I followed the process (initially had to hit ESC instead of F2) developed by anthony82 and met no error on drive testing HARD and memory.

    According to this message , it's probably a problem with the HP recovery media. anyone else seen this kind of problem and that this is the case also determined?

  • Satellite U300-13U - iTunes has detected a problem with the audio configuration

    Please can someone help me? I have a laptop U300-13U and that you have installed iTunes on it. However, when I open iTunes I get an error message saying 'iTunes has detected a problem with the audio configuration and may not play correctly' which is an understatement - it does not at all!

    I uninstalled, reinstalled iTunes and Quicktime, but in vain. I have searched and exhausted the iTunes support boards but have nowhere either. The sound is fine as I can read CDs with no problems at all. The only suggestion I can get is that there may be a problem with the audio device magnet is not Apple and vice versa.

    Does anyone have AN idea at all as to what might be going on here? I'm completely out of my depth, I'm just a simple girl who wants to play his music!

    I don t use iTunes so I m not an expert player but first of all, you must give us some important information:
    -What operating system do you use?
    -Are you using the factory settings (Toshiba Recovery disk) or your own version of Windows
    -Do you have the yellow exclamation marks in Device Manager?

    OK, iTunes says that there is an audio configuration problem so do you trying to update the audio driver? If this isn't the case, you should try it.

The second is an article describing the required syntax to write functions and scripts in the MathScript node, including instructions for the use of the If-Else statements.

  • calculation using the formula node needs two clicks

    I want to use this piece of code for a larger program. My goal is to take 10 values and calculate two values using a formula. I used the formula node as the calculation functions digital ordinary would be too heavy. If I click on save, it saves two values to a file.

    The problem that I am facing is that when I start the program, it works very well for the first time. The second time however, if I change the values, and then click on save, it still displays the previous values, or some altered values. I have to click on save twice to get the correct values. I don't understand the reason why this happens. Can anyone help?

    I don't completely understand the description of your problem.  But I see two problems.

    1. the "Save" button actually belongs to the event that handles the record button.  And the case of the event should really be Jean-Claude Value Change of mouse down?

    2. your STOP at the bad mechanical action.  Since it happened so this just released, it is only true while you're pressing it.  It stops the upper loop, but can't stop low loop because your loop will also be waiting to save button to press.  Stop will always be false because you cannot press two buttons at the same time.

    Try to make your action to stop button to be changed when released.  You must return the button to false programmatically born of two loops.  In fact, it would be better to have a case of events for the stop button to stop the lower loop.

    I don't understand what you're trying to do in the upper loop.  You read a file as soon as possible, and it seems to be the same file that you create in the lower loop.  Why?

    I've seen people once they have gotten this error, but none of them really apply to my situation.

    Right now I use LabVIEW example code to read from a device manufacturer. This device is connected using a Tripp Lite USB adapter series (http://www.tripplite.com/en/products/model.cfm?txtSeriesID=782&txtModelID=2430) for the connection from the PC to device with RS232. The adapter works fine when using the software prepared in advance (not LabVIEW) given by the manufacturer and the COM port is seen by LabVIEW. When I run the program, I get the property node (arg 1) visa set up a Serial Port (Instr) .vi (I've also attached the VI but it's a standard VI I got of LabVIEW). I get this error despite the fact that I use the same COM port, who has worked with the manufacturer's software.

    Try to restart the PC and then try the LV version before trying other software.

    I have seen thrid party serial interfaces work on the first try but fail when you switch to another application. It was as if the pilot did not know that it was no longer the first process.
