  I hope someone can shed some light on a strange problem, that we face.

  Oracle Database 11 g R2 (11.2.0.4) EE 64 bit running on Windows 2008 Server R2.

  When I create an index of context on a column varchar2 (surname), it works fine when the surname begins with a consonant or a vowel. But when the family name starts with two vowels, that it fails to return the file?

  Please see example below:

  When I opened a new mailwindow in AppleMail and start typing that address whitch starts with the letter j, the program crashes.

  Any other letter works very well.

  It is possibel to trigger the crash over and over again.

  So far, only solution is to copy and paste the address.

  Please launch the Console application in one of the following ways:

  ☞ Enter the first letters of his name in a Spotlight search. Select from the results (it should be at the top).

  ☞ In the Finder, select go utilities ▹ of menu bar or press the combination of keys shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

  ☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.

  Step 1

  For this step, the title of the Console window should be all Messages. If it isn't, select

  SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ all Messages

  in the list of logs on the left. If you don't see this list, select

  List of newspapers seen ▹ display

  in the menu at the top of the screen bar.

  In the upper right corner of the Console window, there is a search box to filter. Enter the name of the application crashed or process. For example, if Safari has crashed, you would enter "Safari" (without the quotes).

  Each message in the journal begins with the date and time when it was entered. Select the messages since the time of the last fall, as appropriate. Copy to the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command + V.

  The journal contains a large amount of information, almost everything that is not relevant to solve a particular problem. When you post a journal excerpt, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.

  Please don't dump blindly thousands of lines in the journal in this discussion.

  Please do not post screenshots of log messages - text poster.

  Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.

  Step 2

  In the Console window, clear the search box, and then select

  DIAGNOSIS AND diagnostic USE information reports ▹ user

• DataPump the QUERY parameter with string values? -SOLVED

  I'm trying to specify a query to the datapump API parameter but can't seem to get my correct single/double quotes so that it can work. I can successfully use the QUERY parameter with something like QUERY = table: '"number_column = 6" ' but NOT with something like QUERY = table:'"string_column ="value"" "
  
  I tried different versions of the single/double quotes, but all fails with slightly different errors. Someone at - it an example where a string value is used with success?

  Looks like you have escape all single/double quotation marks for this parameter

  This is my first time using this forum. I hope that my question made its appearance and that this space is to respond to the answers possible, but just in case, here's my question again:

  Not an Adobe issue at all. If you want your files to a single digit (1-9) to appear before the 10, you must add a zero at the beginning.

  You can;  Simply enclose it quotation marks name whenever you use it.

  For example:

  CREATE TABLE '3-26.
  (
  'name 1' VARCHAR2 (10)
  );

  INSERT INTO '3-26' ('1 St Name') VALUES ('FUBAR');

  SELECT '1 name '.
  "3-26;

  Remember, what inside quotes is case-sensitive, so you can't refer to that column as "1st NAME.

  Using quotation marks (and capitalizing exactly as expected) is such a pain that most people don't bother.

  When we try to create a custom query based ViewObject, and the query clause of "with."

  So not all the columns selected in the query are appearing as attributes of the View object in the wizard.

  This is the query. And it performs very well in Toad.

  I was wondering if something changed in 12 c?

  When you work in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, my cursor is common in my part of the query editor window. When I try using my scroll wheel it to review some SQL code, instead the scroll on my mouse wheel is controlling the pane objects in the Solution Explorer window and NOT the glass query editor.
  Some of our partners appear to be well with their ability to scroll using the mouse scroll wheel while others seem to be in the same boat I am, and nobody here seems to know why it is.
  I hope for some comments and I am hopeful for an answer. Thanks in advance.

  I detected a strange (for me) behavior of the IsDefined function. I have something like:

  * If url.3d is set, all right. All work as expected.

  * If url.3d is not defined, CF throws an error "Parameter 1 of function IsDefined, which is now url.3d, must be a syntactically valid variable name".

  * If I use structKeyExists (url, "3d") instead of IsDefined("url,3d"), works as expected.

  I have tried different combinations of variable names and extended (EP, url.5d, or form.3d) and the problem seems to be the number at the beginning of the name of the variable.

  This is the expected behavior? I found it very strange that it works if the variable exists and only generates an error if not. Can it be considered a bug and should be reported?

  It doesn't matter if the language is CF or JavaScript or PHP-HTML - variable names are considered invalid if they do not begin with a letter or underscore.  You must friezer prefix a variable name with a number.

  Also, I have heard many developers complain IsDefined().  Use rather StructKeyExists().

  I start the query on an instance of TOAD, and open the browser to log on to another instance.
  But I am surprised to see that in "TOtal expected" on the RIGHT part->
  SQL * Net message from client is the longest time and is already - > 178577 units while I just to start the query.
  
  Considering that, in the current waiting she shows DB file scattered read correctly for a few seconds.

  I think Tom Kyte explains it well enough. This wait event is linked to your session database waiting for the guest to say to do something.

  So it is not related to the database, but to your application.
  Also as it is a wait of session event you might have had your session inactive for some time (do nothing)

  If you want to check the waiting events correctly I suggest using tkprof and start a new session in SQL more as shown by Tom Kyte in the link I posted.

  Then, run your query in sqlplus setting track and pull it out as soon as your statement is completed.
  that is to say:

  -- myest.sql
  alter session set events '10046 trace name context forever, level 12';
  SELECT ... -- your query here
  exit
  

  Run in sqlplus in this way:

  sqlplus user/password@db @mytest.sql
  

  Then check with tkprof.

  Authentication of CC plays havoc with me.

  I have a valid complete installation disk with serial number for CS6 Master Collection. Recently, I also started a subscription to CC.

  I want to use CC by its terms of use on my main machine (a Mac with Windows in parallels) which, in my view, will be taken into account that the two facilities of my CC license. I also have a second PC where I would use my valid serial number perfectly to install and run CS6.

  When I connect the second (CS6) machine, I am not allowed to run my programs CS6 because I am considered a Subscriber CC. There is no possibility to enter a serial number: machine, which has run the CS6 for years, refuses to let me continue to use it. For example, I start Acrobat. I'm alerted that my trial has 00 days left. I wonder to connect and enter a serial number. I connect, but before I can enter the serial number, I said ' welcome, wear "authroization window goes. And it REAPPEARS immediately with the same message on my trial with 00 days left.

  I got a lot of anguish on broken activation Adobe and my opinion on them as a company has suffered considerably.

  I was wondering if I should do an Adobe ID separated for CS6 installing. Will be Adobe let me enter this serial number via a new Adobe ID, or he will not oppose the reason that serial number is associated with my Adobe ID main?

  Re-record the perpetual license with a different Adobe ID and use the CS6 installation on this ID.  This will keep the system to blend during activation.  Don't forget to disable the CS6 (if she will allow this option) if possible.  This is the best option for now.  If you have any problem with the re-setup, use the Adobe cleaner on the CS6 machine.
