Develop the Module problem

I use LR since May 13. Initially, I used LR4, then upgraded to 5 on my iMac. A few days ago, when you use the development Module, the right side of the screen is missing. On the right are the tools and panels for setting global and local photo. Went. I tried to the control key to develop at the top of the screen. Nothing changes. Can anyone help?

Press the TAB key?

  • Develop the module problem after upgrade to LR6

I upgraded from LR4.4 to 6, but had made a stop at 5.7 on the way. I have improved the catalog to v5.  Now in LR6, that I bought at the end of the day, photos in the develop module are corrupt. I can see them but are mainly grey with a few colourful highlights. Don't know if it's a question of catalog or how to fix. All files seem to be affected!

  • Black image to develop the module during the use of acceleration GPU on Macbook Pro

Since the update of Lightroom 6.6, I was see the "bug of the black image" to develop the module still very frequently.

Basically, 1/3 of my photos appear black when you view in the develop module.

If I select 'View', 'Before', the original is displayed correctly, when switching to "After" it becomes black. Even in mode split the side "Before" picture, the side is 'After' is black.

If I play with some settings and select 'Auto' the image appears correctly again.

If I disable GPU acceleration, then all images are displayed correctly, but I would use the GPU acceleration.

    Any ideas how to fix?

Is there some sort of connection that I could activate that help you solve the bug?

The issue will be probably set with 6.6.1 or 6.7 - when - knows only Adobe.

Until then your solution is to disable the GPU acceleration or roll back to 6.5.1. Are you using a 4 k or more display? If this isn't the case, I guess you don't see no gain in performance in any case, don't you?

Here's how: How do I roll back to Lightroom 2015.1.1 or Lightroom 6.1.1? Lightroom Queen

    Just replace 6.1.1 by 6.5.1.

When I switch from a library module and to develop the module I get develop does not

If you use Lightroom CC 2015 or Lightroom 6, go to your Lightroom preferences, the performance tab and uncheck the option of GPU. See if that makes a difference.

If you mean the 'presets' entire pane is missing, you can right click on one of the titles pane and select it from the list.

If you mean that one "Preset" seems to have disappeared, you will probably need search for files ending with ".lrtemplate" using your operating system tools

  • develop the module does not not in 5.7.1

Hi, my development ambient light module has stopped working, the image displayed on the screen is an image of lower than the actual image resolution. I installed the canon eos utility on my computer but I'm not sure if the module development had stopped working before that. I am 8.1 windows program. I tried to uninstall the prgram but it makes no difference. The problem could be to do with paths between the program and the storage, so I am not in computers in simple terms would be useful.

    Thank you, Colin.

Indeed, it seems not a problem of location of files.

    Try these 2 actions:

    (1) reset the preferences file

    -tur off Lightroom

    -go to C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Preferences\

    -Save this file

    -Remove

    -Restart Lightroom

    (2) check the color profiles

try to check if your monitor's color profile is sRGB or if you have an it management application. Sometimes, there are incompatibilities between versions of ICC profiles

  • 6.1 Lightroom freezes when deleting the raw files or spend library module to develop the module

I have Lightroom 6.1. I have a catalog of ~ 35 000 photos.  With my most recent import of a DSLR Nikon raw files, I'll develop and edit and try to delete some files that I don't want.  The minute I try to delete a file, the program crashes and no unhang itself until I close the program and restart.  I tried the same thing several times with different images and get the same result, most of the time.    In addition, it also pretty regularly just hangs trying to get into the develop module, after being in the library module.  It happened at a point of pure frustration because it actually eliminated my being able to do anything other than look at the imported pictures.  Anyone with a similar problem?  I had the same problem with 6.0 recently.  I have a computer standard win 8.1 with 8 MB of ram.  Have never had a problem with Lightroom and found that it is a stable program as a whole so far.  Thank you.  Gary

First of all, please check if the deactivation of the GPU acceleration allows: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/lightroom-gpu-faq.html

  • Intermittent errors to develop the Module gets worse

I have a 32 bit Windows 7 which has been installed LR 5.7 PC, because it came out about 2 years ago.  For the last month of 2-3 errors while using the Module of development increased.  All are intermittent, but more and more frequent.  "An unknown error has occurred" - have to restart LR.  (It is a common really).  Masks for work stop black and white - have to restart LR.  Culture - gray screen and nothing is no longer the case - have to restart LR.  Performance slows down WAAAYYYY - have to restart LR.  It was only UNKNOWN ERROR occurred was the bug.  Now these other errors have popped up, and I fear that this drop in performance will just get worse if I don't find a solution.

Any help?  Please, I beg you.

Try to set the preferences of LR: http://www.lightroomforums.net/showthread.php?25197-Resetting-the-lightroom-preferences-fi updated the. This pixie dust magic to often fixed spray things when LR goes wonky.

In addition, run a memory test.  LR uses a lot of memory, and it is possible that you have a block of memory that LR only more stumbles (because it can use much more memory than the typical application) defective.

  • Lightroom displays no image to develop the module

I just downloaded the new Lightroom and when in the develop module, I just get a blue screen. When I select before and after develop, I get picture on L and blue screen on R.

    Hi all

It is a nuisance GPU. Update your GPU drivers from the manufacturers Web site.

In the meantime, disabling "Use Graphics Processor" (Preferences > Performance), should help to load the module development.

  • Filters, peaks, Pavilion, sides appearing is not in the film to develop the module.

I don't know if I've accidentally hit something, but in the develop module my filters (pics/flags, ratings, etc.) may not appear on each thumbnail in my film. I can't tell what are the images I edited, scored, etc. I can always sort by side/flag, but the icon of the culture, +/-icon, number of stars, etc. are not displayed to the top. I opened the other catalogues and it affects these too. I made sure 'show ratings and forecasts' has been selected in the preferences, but still it's not helping. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Open mode library to develop the film, move the mouse over the splitter as shown below.  When the mouse cursor changes to an up/down arrow, then click and drag the separator upwards or downwards:
