  Microsoft, Hewlett Packard and Samsung - apparently do not have a compatible driver to allow tethering and USB communication.

  Currently funds are not available to make additional purchases of hard/software.

  Tried to locate and install the necessary software for more than four months and keep just get directed to the site that sell additional software.

  You don't say what you use to install Windows XP Pro, but the normal installation media of Windows XP does not include device drivers for everything, especially for laptop/notebook computers.

  You need to get the drivers from the manufacturer of the computer (or computers that are built or made by small manufacturers, manufacturers of the individual hardware components).

  Windows will not synchronize Galaxy S3 synchronizes a mobile computer.  When I attach USB cable the computer flashes added new hardware, but when you click the icon it goes in loops.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers in Kies and always the same problem.  All other cell phones synced to computer, including the Samsung Galaxy S3 but my iPhone no matter what I do.  When I open Kies and connect the USB cable there is no reconition of the cell phone.  I've seen a Code 31 error appear in good devices.

  The latest version is ver.v1.4.6.0 out June 19, 2012.

  I recommend you to please update the USB drivers on your computer and check if it helps.

  Samsung told me that they do not provide the blue tooth for a Windows 7 driver for their cell phone Galaxy S5. They said that the manufacturer of the PC is responsible for this.   Step 1: Examine the Windows Device Manager. To do this, follow these steps:

  (a) click Start, right-click computer, and then click Properties.

  (b) click on Device Manager. Click on the computer root icon and then click on Search the hardware changes in the Actions menu. Zune should be listed under portable devices.

  Note If the player has been incorrectly installed, Zune can be listed with a yellow exclamation point (!). Or, it may be listed under other devices as USB (Universal Serial Bus) device.

  (c) double-click Zune, and then click driver . The current version of the driver that is installed must be 4.2.58.0.

  If the Windows Device Manager indicates a problem with the device, or if the Player version that is installed is not the current version, you must update the driver. To do this, follow these steps:

Now, Miss me 3 basic systen drivers.  under 'other devices '.  All say bus PCI 8 under properties.  I don't know if I had a 64 or 32 bit operating system prior to this change.   Please use the Windows 7 drivers for your computer Entertainment Notebook PC, HP Pavilion dv7-1260us drivers page. For you current issue, you must install the JMB38X card reader driver from the drivers page.

  After installing these drivers, you post "Hardware ID" Device Manager (just the text string) for all other devices missing or unknown as illustrated in the example below.

  For example, I want to use a SD card on my BB or a special USB device connect to my BB. I want to use some special features on them but can't find an API for them.

  I'm not aware of any API that will allow access to any feature of the SD card that would allow you to use this interface to connect to a device.  Given the nature of the sandbox of the BlackBerry, get access to a low level interface without using an API would be difficult, if not impossible, I had.

  I was involved with a manufacturer who tried to make a USB device. I understand that the BlackBerry cannot act as a slave in this relationship and is expected to be charged if there is a USB connection, so I think that it is a hard connection.  In any case, the manufacturer I was working with, could not get their kit works properly.

  If you want to add support for a new device, Bluetooth seems the best option for me.

  There is no separate software/driver needed to copy videos from a camcorder to tape (from DV Stream), if you use IEEE port for video transfer. You must choose the video input source in the software, like Windows Live Movie Maker. Once this is done, you can copy the videos of the band to the PC.
