  I have a form where I put JavaScript that checks each radio button field defined in order to ensure that the user has filled in something on the submit button. I used this script before successfully, but this time it does not work and for the life of me I don't see what's wrong. Also, I have not met this particular error before. Here is the text I see on by clicking on the Send button:

  The exception indicates that the XFA object with the expression of SOM page1.firstPage.positioned.header.posSub.storeNbr is not a field but a subform.

  Thanks Tom611. I actually downloaded the update of the firmware/software before even saving. It ends up being an issue wih trying to record with an e-mail that I have used to sign up for the Sony Forum (Chumby tips sent me here when I was doing research on the dashboard before buy you). No matter what they did through phones help if they couldn't do so that I can register (they weren't sure if it was a problem with my email, the registration code, user name, etc.). I finally decided to try to save the email from my husband, and that ended up working. Yay! Now, I stayed too late playing with him. Thanks again - I appreciate really only provide you with such a quick response & recommendation!

  I have a form with multiple pages.  The first two are a graph and the other 8 diagrams.  Diagrams have fields of number to the entry measures taken from an inspection process.  The graphic form I have a button to fill in the chart with information from diagrams.

  The click event of the button first retrieves the information from the diagrams and transfer them to the chart.  He is then supposed to change the font color depending on whether the readings are within limits (black for good, red for the worse).

  However, when I go in the preview PDF tab, enter test data in diagrams and click populate, I get an error that I don't know how to fix.  I was not able to find something on the Internet about it.

  I found the solution to my problem.

  I had the code in the target fields as well as the button trying to change color of font, based on imported figures.  I deleted the code in the target areas and leave the code in the button field and everything worked right.
