  Open my new dashboard to Woot today and after having downloaded the software update, I tried to save the dashboard. It doesn't let me do, say the Registration Code provided on the dashboard (in the news on the device) is not valid. I tried to register and associate with Chumby account and when it does not work since the original registration page. Neither work. Please tell me how to fix. Thank you.   Thanks Tom611. I actually downloaded the update of the firmware/software before even saving. It ends up being an issue wih trying to record with an e-mail that I have used to sign up for the Sony Forum (Chumby tips sent me here when I was doing research on the dashboard before buy you). No matter what they did through phones help if they couldn't do so that I can register (they weren't sure if it was a problem with my email, the registration code, user name, etc.). I finally decided to try to save the email from my husband, and that ended up working. Yay! Now, I stayed too late playing with him. Thanks again - I appreciate really only provide you with such a quick response & recommendation!

  There are two parts to this.

  (a) by recompiling package specifications, you then automatically invalidates all objects in the database that dependent on it.  In this case, the package body is dependent on, so get marked as invalid.  When you try and run something in the package Oracle try to compile the package, if it succeeds, it will mark it as valid again (as in your case).

  (b) the variables and declarations of a package (public and private) are what constitutes the 'State '.  By calling the package, you instantiate a copy in memory to create this state of package for this instantiation of the entire session.  By recompiling package specifications (it's not fair that you change the value of the variable, you recompile the spec), you can invalidate the State in memory and therefore potentially invalidate the package body.  It depends on your version of the database.  In 10g, by invalidating state you will get an exception "State package rejected" when you try to run the package after the change, and then it will automatically compile and validate the package, so that it eventually works ok.  From 11 g, there is more fine grain dependencies on the State, so if the change you have made has no effect on what you run, it can validate and run without causing the exception 'package State scrapped ';. He would only do that if it's something that you used.

  In this case seems to be with the corrupted printer drivers.

  Follow the steps below to reinstall the driver.

  1. click on the "Start" button, type PRINTERS in the start search box and press ENTER.

  2. find the icons that are associated with the printer, and then remove them.

  3. right click on the blank part of the window and choose "Run as Administrator"-> "Server Properties".

  4. on the tab drivers, select the printer listed and click Remove. Please, select Remove driver and driver package.

  5. open the start menu, enter APPWIZ. CPL in the search box and press ENTER to launch the "programs and features".

  6. try to remove all related printer software.

  7. then download the latest driver from the printer manufacturer's Web site.

  8 install the driver.

  As far as I know, this message appears because you have installed a version of the Windows operating system and the system was not properly activated.

  You said that you have installed a new Windows system using the disk from Microsoft.
  So use the key belonging to this system of Windows:

  Try to uninstall and reinstall the product key and check if this may help.

  1) click Start and type CMD in the start search box.
  (2) select run as administrator.
  (3) in the shell, type the following command and press ENTER after each command.

  slmgr-upk
  slmgr-ipk (your product key)

  (4) to activate the copy again and check if it works.

  I am trying to package a WebWorks on a Mac html application. I have installed ripple but packing doesn't seem to be an option in the menu of the ripple.

  When I try to run the program from the Terminal of the error:

  Twitter.PNG is the name of an image file referring to a link in my html file. What is the problem with this name?
