dg4odbc connection to Sqllite. personal Expert

Dear all,

I have linked ms Sqlserver with oracle by dg4odbc. Now, I'll have another assignment to connect oracle 11 with sqlite by dg4odbc database.

During the installation of Oracle Gateway, I did find "SQLite" name in the list of available components. He knows with a different name.

Please share the procedure step by step to liaise with Sqlite.

The gateway that can be used with an Oracle database link (no way to communicate directly with SQL * more). If you need to connect to the Oracle database, then set the data link using the gateway and can then access remote objects by using the database link.

Hello

I am trying to connect to SQLLite DB mobile ADF.
I checked the sample HR application.

I do exactly the same thing what HR application carries.
that is to create the DBConnectionFactory class in applicationController project and import that into the viewController project > classes.

in the HR application example, the DBConnectionFactory (which is in applicationController project) can be imported into classes for viewController project.

but in my custom application, it does not work. I'm not able to import the class file that is located in applicationController project.

Help, please.

Easy to fix (I think).
Right click of your ViewController project > Project Properties > addictions > click the pencil > and check the result to build project ApplicationController.
Rebuild your app and your should be able to import the classes in your project ApplicationController.

HP Slate 7 more does not connect to iPhone personal hotspot

My new tablet, slate 7 more, c. 4.2.2 kernel v. 3.1.10 - g2630132 does not connect to my iPhone 4, ios 7.0.6.

The Tablet works fine on wifi router database connections.

The Tablet sees different iPhones when the personal hotspots are active on these phones and I can enter the security keys. The Tablet shows "signal strength Excellent and"WPA2 PSK security." However when I press "Connect" the Tablet shows the hotspot iPhone simply as 'Saved, secure with WPA2.' The Tablet does not actually connect.

My goal by purchasing this tablet had a portable device that I could work out my phone personal hotspot.

Suggestions, or can someone point me to a FAQ tip or tech that I might have missed?

I was able to connect to Iphone 4S my son without problem.

I had to make sure I typed the passkey precisely, and by clicking on the check box "Show characters" did help.

I've seen some messages on the internet where there is Android devices connection problems if the phone name had special characters in it, but we still managed using a name such as "batman Iphone 4»

You can also make sure there is no special characters in the name just to be safe.

Question: while I'm connected to my personal Account Microsoft, there is an option to stay "connected" is it safe/convenient? Yes/No?

I know that the personal data contained in my Microsoft Account are sensitive and personal. i.e. the personal banking information for 'MY EYES ONLY'. The option on the "My account" login page has an option of "keep me connected" confusing. There are some problems in your configuration:
ODBC.ini missing the CHARSET setting - you must add: CHARSET = gbk as the ODBC driver needs to know what character set the source of data belong to.
After you change the parameter check with isql data appear correctly (as I am a bit confused about your server pointing to latin1 character set).

following file is the init file initmysql.ora gateway:

Hi Phill,

A Hotspot is limited to a certain speed by the operators. Access point might not meet the requirements for streaming the video data on the Internet.

So, the Home Theater system cannot be connected to the Hotspot.

The Internet speed should be 2.5 Mbps for SD videos streaming and 10 Mbps for streaming HD videos.

You have activated the gateway trace level 255 (HS_FDS_TRACE_LEVEL = 255) which includes also ODBC calls but there is no reference in your file odbc.ini to trace odbc library and it seems that the trace ODBC lib is not found in the ODBC driver manager lib directory.

Test without bridge tracing turned on (just remove the parameter HS_FDS_TRACE_LEVEL = 255).

In addition, I recommend to add to your gateway init file:

HS_FDS_FETCH_ROWS = 1 (as the iSeries ODBC is not supported in bulk pick)

and

HS_NLS_NCHAR = UCS2

I've just updated to iOS 10 yesterday and now all my devices I use to connect to the personal hotspot on my iphone are not able to establish PPTP VPN connections. I was aware of the PPTP client are disabled in the iOS, but has actually blocked PPTP are not used by devices that connect to the Personal Hotspot?

Please help ASAP, I know there are many more end-users like me having the same problem.

You have to be on wifi, no way around that. Bluetooth keyboards are not supported at this time. Also, best to check with ATT on the terms of the plan (more connection after certain Butterfly amplifiers and do not permit this type of use).
