Dialog import Lightroom CC no way to eject the disk after import?
The new Lightroom screen that appears when I connect my computer with a flash card is confusing and overwhelming her aggressively. I can get used to it but first need to know how to control. I just want to see the flash memory card, I just plugged and not any possible place to get photos that I really want to see. The first question I have is I don't see a way to check the box to "Eject the card after import" - it is not possible or is there a hidden way to tell Lightroom to do this.
PS: I don't quite like the new interface to import... Please leave the things that work well alone and focus on the implementation of Photoshop keyboard controls that many of us know to manipulate images, as the + and - to zoom in and out...

I have old a laptop Dell Vostro 1710 on which I wanted to erase the hard drive before sending it to the recycling
I downloaded DBAN on a CD and successfully cleared the hard drive
I would like to eject the CD on which DBAN is loaded from the laptop and keep the CD, before sending the laptop for recycling
However the laptop has been defined to use DBAN to start from the CD drive
Is there a way to eject the CD manually or remotely?
Thank you very much
The 'eject' button is just above the keyboard, near the keys play/forward/backward. Number 6 here:
The posts I've read suggest starting in the BIOS by pressing the F2 key and then holding down the button while in the BIOS configuration utility.
You are not alone in this problem. Several "creative" solutions among these hits: https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=vostro+1710+manual+eject+cd

The actual message means you need to move the mounted image - the small icon that is displayed after you double-click the .dmg - and put it in the trash.
Where do you see the message your computer?

Error Installer of photoshop cs5 "eject the disk image.
I use a mac but already owned a PC, for which I bought Adobe Photoshop cs5 about 4 years ago. I installed photoshop using the disk on my PC after that first of all, I bought the product and I'm now trying to set up on my new mac. However, the Setup program will not open on my mac because when I click on "set - up.exe" it says that my mac cannot open this type of file - which makes sense because I know that if I install on a mac, it should say 'install.app' on the file I'm supposed to open. This leads me to assume that I bought the product to download on a PC instead of a mac, I thought wouldn't matter because I know that you can download the installation program from cs5 photoshop on the adobe Web site, then I can just post my previous purchase of photoshop cs5 using serial number. However, when I download the installer from the website, open the "Adobe Photoshop cs5" file, and then click 'Install', I get an error message which reads "'Install' is corrupted and cannot be opened. You must eject the disk image. "as shown below.
I deleted the program installation and re-uploaded three times now and it comes up with the same message everytime I try to open the installer.
Is it possible to install photoshop cs5 on my mac using the disc that I bought for my pc 4 years ago, although I could not open the file "set - up.exe?
I do something wrong when I try to download photoshop cs5 on the adobe site?
Should I buy a new version of photoshop to install on my mac?
You do not put diesel in a petrol car, and you can't install Windows on a Mac programs... unless you want to install http://www.parallels.com/ "emulator" on your Mac to run Windows programs
At least that the documentation provided with your Windows disk explicitly says that you have a serial number that works also for a Mac version, download the Mac to install it won't hurt, because your serial number does not work
And there is the problem of the old software on a new Mac... read below... which, as I said above, won't help you with a serial number of Windows

Just replaced my hard drive in my 6 year macbook pro. Try to install Photoshop CS5. Operating system is up-to-date with the latest and best. I allowed out photoshop on the old hard drive before installing the new.
Now, I downloaded the installation from the adobe Web site package and tried to start the installation. When I do, I get the following error message:
'Install' is corrupted and cannot be opened. You must eject the disk image.
'Install' is on the image disk 'photoshop_12_LS1.dmg '. Safari has downloaded this disk image today at 16:33 from trials2.adobe.com.
Options are 'Cancel' or 'eject the disk image.
What have I done wrong?
It is a common mistake when dealing with Gatekeeper of OSX which, by default, won't take any unsigned as older CS5 of Adobe software applications.
First go to Apple > System Preferences > security & privacy. Under the general tab and on the bottom, the value "allow applications downloaded on the" "Anywhere".
When you have finished and launched Photoshop, set the default value: "Store App and developers trust".
