  I have a simple VI to open and read a file.  I use 'File dialogue Express VI' to get the file name of the user, in order to use the "pattern" of entry to limit the type of file.  Unfortunately, appears not to limit the list of the files somehow.  I enclose a picture of my code, and the dialog box produced during its execution, which demonstrates that the VI does not indeed limit the list of files.  Is this a bug?  No one knows how to fix?  I'm under LV 2010 10.0 32 bit on a 2.93 GHz Intel Core i7 iMac with Mac OS X 10.6.4.

  Lenovo thinkpad T410s, stock, windows 7 64, ms office 2007, adobe reader, all day

  Cannot print to a PictBridge compatible printer (including print them as pdf, xps, etc.) of powerpoint, excel and adobe (at least). This is what happens when I try to print:
  -excel, I get the error "current printer is unavailable". When I say ok, it appears a box displays the available printers (updated from the printer list and shows new printers if I install, removes those I removed/uninstalled), but I chose one, say ok and it just goes back to the same error
  -powerpoint: I get the error "no printer is installed.
  -Word: printing, but it does not show a default printer (drop initially empty). the list of printers (once that you pull-down) remains up-to-date
  -adobe reader software: poster old printer printer list and the default is not updated. When I select and press on print, it gives error ('no page selected')

  I have read that sometimes happens when there is no default printer selected. It's true. I select a default printer, but it doesn't seem to stick.   The manual recommends a class 6 or higher.  Any class 10 will work for video.

  If you just go to the prefs dialog and disables the option, then you have not set the indicator saying body which made the option to use.

  I looked into this and found a few threads, but they did not really help.  I tried this in 5 captive and Captivate 4 and it does the same thing.  The slidelet stays on the screen, as long as I have the cursor inside the box reactive, even if I put the stick slidelet checkbox.  I checked the timeing of the slidelet and the content of the image and the text displayed by the slidelet.

  One of the suggestions forum was to ensure that AS2 has been configured.  I can't find anywhere in Captivate 5, where you can select AS2 or AS3.

  I hope someone can put me directly on these two issues.

• Port SSL messages to jabber/gtalk does not stick

  It is not purely associated with Sierra, as happening on El Cap.  The port default to Google talk is 5223, which is blocked in my company.  I had previously configured messages to use 443, which is not blocked (and supports gtalk).  But at some point during the last couple months, gtalk stopped linking to work.  When I looked at it, she returned to 5223.  When I try to set it to 443 (disable the account, change the port, re - enable the account) everything looks good, but at the time when I try to connect, it turns to 5223.  I tried to delete the account completely re - create, both as a right has Jabber (port 443 from the beginning of setting) or as a gmail e-mail account and then change the port later.  Nothing does.

  Thinking perhaps it was corrupted prefs, I deleted all the * prefs to iChat and everything that seemed related to google or jabber.  No change in behavior.

  Anyone seen this before?  Help to solve if possible of love.
