Did anyone tried Power Director

I had the same problem.  Lost respect for Microsoft... in any case, someone has already tried Power Director?  It seems that if we spend anywhere between t0 and $69 $ 180 to upgrade the included Power Director, many formats will be available to burn discs (is there a format that works on the players of STDS?

During this time I have played with the Director of photography is pretty cool, but Power Director is needed to burn a disc.  I don't know how to get an easy tutorial to learn all the features in the Photo Director

    Hi Carol

Unfortunately, the great majoprity of all these so-called, performance boosters, speed up pc, registry boosters/cleaners, etc., products don't do much to speed things up.

Most of them have simply activate the settings that are already in windows to optimize the pc.

  • Anyone tried O-T-A direct local HDTV accessories?

I downloaded the www.Pluto.tv app and liked the look and feel of it, but its interface that mimics a TV guide suddenly made me think; What local stations live from HDTV come somehow directly through the Apple TV device?  I did a little light research and so far I see there are a handful of hardware devices that can interconnect with Apple TV and via air and push TV programs that are locally on the device.   Anyone tried one of these devices? Have any comments on their use?

One is called: "Tablo", which is a device that plugs into an HDTV antenna (so I read), and the App and acts as a DVR of all kinds, when used with the Apple TV.
The second is called: "HDHomeRun', which has a similar setup. and a third, one called www.Simple.TV, which acts as a Network Attached Storage.

Or you could simply connect the antenna to the TV

  • Unable to capture HD video using Windows Movie Maker or Cyberlink Power Director of Canon HV30 on I.Link (firewire)

Canon HV30 HDV Capture Issues Firewire in Win 7 (64-bit)

There seems to be a problem with Windows 7 (64 bit) in the HD video capture from a Canon HV30 on I.Link (firewire). The camera is detectable, but I am unable to capture videos HD using Windows Movie Maker or Cyberlink Power Director. All the drivers and the software updated.

Same camera, same editing works very well under Win XP.

Someone at - he a workarouonds?

    (1) the question arose on January 20, 2010, when I got my new computer (Dell XPS 9000) WIN 7 (64-bit) and I first tried to capture video, I had already shot with the Canon Vixia HV - 30.

    (2) the updated capture in place according to the manual of Canon, using the firewire interface to download video using Power Director 7 or Windows Movie Maker.

-Power Director 7 is able to detect and control the camera, however once the capture begins an error message appears saying that the i-link on the camera mode is not compatible with the Strip to be captured. Verified media is HDV (60i) and playback camera settings are all correct.

-Windows Moview Maker is able to detect and control the camera, however, no video is captured and no error message appears.

    (3) will try to reinstall the drivers for the HV30.

  • Video capture and editing using Cyberlink Power Director 13

I use Windows 8 and Cyberlink Power Director editing software 13. I'm having difficulties to capture and edit home videos. These videos have been transferred from VHS to DVD (something that I did in the neck and was able to edit the videos to make them better) but now with my new Setup, when I receive the DVD in my computer to capture and then try to edit it, I get a message that among other things readings : "Unsupported video format". Before, I used Windows XP and Nero Vision and never had a problem of capture or change from a House on a CD or a camcorder DVD.

Help, please. This problem may be related to missing codecs, but how can I solve the problem?

    Constantino

    Hi Constantino,

I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing. I will certainly help you in this matter.

You can pass by the Codecs: frequently asked questions, this should help your query. If that does not answer your query. I suggest you to contact Cyberlink.

Hope this information is useful. If the problem still persists, please post back for further assistance, we will be happy to help you.

  • Change the mod to avi using Power Director v7

I was just given a HDD JVC Camcorder and power Director v7 as a gift.  I prefer to use my Adobe first 7, much better editing.  But I'm willing to use the Power of the Director to change my clips in DV - AVI.    I can go to DV. AVI so I just make individual clips or a series of clips put there time line and processed from there.  But Power Director v7 crashes whenever I try to make a video of their chronology made with audio added, titles etc.  I get no response from forum here (boy, you are so great here with your quick responses, we should give you hugs.) I expect that I cann't restore a whole video in to set first as a DV file. AVI file.  Because of the audio and titles, effects etc or just program does not work?  I like some ot their titles and stuff, I downloaded it, but I can live without it.

I just put the mod first clips and they seem to work very well for productions, but I heard that they will be better replaced by DV - AVI.

Maybe I should ask the question in another post... but, all my audio wma be replaced by mpeg3 or wma works very well first?

    Betty

    Betty,

I use CyberLink PowerDirector as an interim step to other file formats. My editing is two years (don't remember the version # and the workstation is on a big Render), so it's not the last. Everything I do is import are the various files, line them up on the Timeline with other nothinig and then export to DV - AVI. I send these files on the HARD drive. I import into PrPro and do all my editing here. I have also exported from PowerDirector to cassette miniDV via firewire on my cameras and then made the first Capture, but it is often not necessary, as the export format DV - AVI does what I want.

As for problems with PowerDirector, I had none, but only use it as a tool in the workflow. I never really tried editing with it. Additional Audio tracks, PiP, titles, etc., are made in the first.

    Don't know if that helps.

    Good luck

I hope those who work on the app made freely available soon.

I don t use this app, but as far as I know the Pass Plex subscription gives you premium features exclusive and early access to the new.

  • Has anyone tried using the cw3dgraph in WPF?

Has anyone tried to use the CW3DGraph with a WPF project? I guess you need a WIndowsFormHost? If yes I do not know how you would connect into it. I control in my project reference but I don't know how I would refer to it on a window.

    Hello

The CW3DGraph is an ActiveX control. This article on MSDN provides steps on how to host a custom ActiveX on WPF: MSDN Walkthrough: hosting an ActiveX control in WPF

The procedure step by step uses Windows Media Player for example, but it still serves as a useful reference.

  • Error, "Cyberlink Power Director can operate only under 1024 x 768 resolution (16-bit) colors or higher"

Original title: cyberlink power Director does not work on windows 7
so I'm launching cyberlink power Director and after I installed it, I get the error message that says: "power director can work only under 1024 x 768 resolution (16-bit) colors or more. What can be the problem?

    Hey swansea-,.

What is the number and the model of your graphics card?

Because your computer is Windows 7 installed, it wil have the latest DirectX version i.e DirectX 11 is installed by default. Here are two things, try.

Step 1: Increase the screen resolution

If the current driver supports the resolution higher than 1024 x 768, try it.

    Details here:

    Change your screen resolution

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/change-your-screen-resolution

Step 2: Update the graphic card drivers

If the resolution of the screen cannot be set high, it might be due to the limitation of the driver. This option on the rule, install the latest driver.

You can do one of these:

    ·        Visit the website of the manufacturer of the computer if the unit is shipped with the computer.

    ·        Visit the website of the manufacturer of the device if the device has been installed after you purchased your computer.

    ·        Visit the website of the device manufacturer if the device was preinstalled on your computer and the computer manufacturer does not have an updated driver.

For updates of the driver, see this link:

Updated a hardware driver that is not working properly

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work correctly

For more investigations, please post the required information.

  • Has anyone tried a 8GB SODIMM in DV6ZSE?

I have a HP DV6ZSE (3200 DV6Z CTO Select Edition) - map mother AMD M880 G, PhenomII x 2 cpu.  Even though I know that the original specifications list 8GB (4GBx2) as the ram max, the material must be able to run the 16 GB (8GBx2).  I don't know if the BIOS will allow this, however.

Has anyone tried one or two sticks 8 GB in this motherboard?  I am currently using BIOS F28.

Before ask you, I am a heavy user of Photoshop and Lightroom and know that I can use close to the 16 GB that I have on my desk when you work on HDR or panoramic using several large RAW files and layers.

Since I don't have all the answers from anyone who has actually tried 8 GB sticks in this type of Mo, I decided to try it myself.  I bought a kit dual channel:

    CORSAIR 16 GB (2 x 8G) 204-pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 computer laptop memory model CMSO16GX3M2A1333C9

and it turns out it works.  A small "bug" is that the BIOS displays only 4 digits of the size of the memory, displaying "6384MB" instead of "16384 MB", but all the 16 GB are recognized and used.

  • Not compatible Cyberlink Power Director

Hello. I have Windows 7, 64-bit, web browser Google Chrome, McAfee security suite, Nvidia GeForce GT220 graphics.

I use Windows Movie maker / DVD maker, edit and burn video clips on a DVD-R discs on this pc. The video is copied on the hard drive of the pc of my camcorder Panasonic SC-V700 and the AVCHD format is. However, when the video of this source is burned to a disc, it is also good, being no more washed out than the result I get to use Cyberlink Power Director 9 of luxury, which can also be used for editing.
My problem is that the process of engraving with Power Director works almost always bad in one or the other. Sometimes I click "burn" and then click "start burn" in the window that appears and either nothing happens or it says on the screen that the program is not responding.
At other times, he responds and the burning starts, but then it stops and on the screen, it says that there was an error EB130581.
It burned successfully twice, video DVD, as I said, the best quality than with Windows DVD maker.
I used the troubleshooter and it says that there is an incompatibility with the Cyberlink program.
I've been to supprt from Cyberlink and fact what they asked me to, but nothing helped. NVIDIA graphics have been updated, capacity hard drive checked and found that a big and so forth.
With the help of Cyberlink support isn't easy, and they have not solved the problem. Is there anything I can do to get the combustion process Cyberlink to work more reliably?
Otherwise, I can improve the quality of the video burned to disc using Windows DVD maker?
Y at - it program that people recommend DVD burning?
Thank you for any help or advice.

It's Cyberlink forums, one of the suggestions of the lowest possible use of burning rate.

Hi did anyone know if you can run Skype 3.8 on windows 8?

Skype 3.8 works on Vista, XP and Windows 2000. That's all

Skype 4.1 will run on Windows 7, but prompts the user to update constantly.

For Windows 8, there is an available app and a desktop version, and it is best to use the latest version and get used to the new look...
