  These files Desktop.ini sometimes appears on the desktop for no apparent reason, if you have the show hidden files enabled in folder options.

  In other cases, they generally only appear when you perform a large customization on a folder.

  If you have not made any radical customizations on the folder on the desktop, you can delete these files safely.
