Difference b/w Active and native of directories

Hi all

I want to know b/w active and native of directories of the fundamental difference and why we create these directories

Native directory: which comes with Services (Foundation) shared Hyperion, to maintain security in the world for Hyperion applications.

Active Directory: Who's maintains with Microsoft Product, to ensure the safety of the users, groups, domains, etc.

Difference between Active and native, native directories, we can connect to applications using Hyperion. But with the help of user Active directory (which is used for the connection to the particular user in the domain), we can connect to the domain and also Hyperion applications. For this, we owe to Active directory for sharing Services.

Thank you

Mady

During the upgrade, I have the option to check a box saying "Add < nom_domaine_dns > as a source of identity, Active directory native.

SSO, you have the option to add Sources of identity (like LDAP, Active Directory) where the useres and groups are managed.

This option has no meaning for you if you vpshere environment is not integrated with active directory. But it makes no difference if you select or deselect it.

  • 8.5.1 LabVIEW Student Edition - differences between the Mac and Windows versions?

    Hello

I just bought the student of LabVIEW 8.5.1 version and I use Mac OS X 10.4.11. What are the biggest differences between the Mac and Windows versions, since the box came with a CD of installation of Mac and a Windows DVD Installer?

    See you soon

Looks like you got the LabVIEW Student Edition Software Suite DVD.

It comes with 6 boxes to tools, and the TME product, some (or all?) of those who are windows only (at least 8.5), for example:

    • Toolkit Digital Filter Design
    • Modulation Toolkit
    • SignalExpress
    • ...

Since you have 8.5, you are missing also a few basic things that only recevied at the 8.6MAC support, like Mathscript, Control design and Simulation and native 3D graphics.

  • What is the difference between Foglight JavaEE and Foglight JMX monitoring?

    Hello

I have a plan to monitor the 6.1.0.17 WebSphere Application Server (32 bit) and 7.0.0.5 (64-bit)

But I understand not all Foglight for JavaEE and Foglight for JMX.

Foglight for JavaEE or Foglight for JMX is able to monitor WebSphere?

What is the difference between Foglight JavaEE and Foglight JMX monitoring?

    Thanks in advance

    Jeans

Just to add to the excellent answers already posted.

We have 2 agents which allows you to monitor Java:

    1. a JavaEE agent that runs inside the JAVA virtual machine and the information of both JMX and instrumentation.

This Agent will give you JMX information like information of JVM (use of the bunch, son etc.), of the Application and server availability information and other information of JMX/PMI (connections pools, pools of ejb, servlets, jsp, JCA and more).

Java EE & # 039agent also gives you information of the instrumentation - RFA count and response time, exceptional output and timeout information, distribution of queries (App/DB, component technology, server, application failure), object tracking, transaction flow and stransactional between servers and data sources) and ask traces (the ability to see the trees of the RFA at the method level to know where things are slow/stuck).

2 JMX agent is running outside the JVM but can run on the same computer or on a remote computer, this agent requires access active, JMX. This agent gives you information JVM, availability server/applications, as well as some data as the application server published using JMX (pools of connections, JCA, EJB, servlets, etc.). The JMX agent also gives you the ability to see a list of the mbeans, get the data they expose (javaEE agent gets only a predefined list (same list that is used as a template for the application servers in the JMX agent)).

    Hope this helps

What is the difference bewteen MCU, VCS, and SRI (DSP-3). For all I know, ISR running DSP3 is the chepaiest option but I don't know if the HD video is supported.

    Hello

According to the document, you are referring to which I posted previously

VCS is a call control system call manager but for video end points only, then CUCM is for voice and video, and now it becomes control system of very mature appeal for video communications with native support for video of many recordings of points

MCU is a material that can be used to host the multi point/party video calls that can be registered to CUCM or VCS according to design

SRI with DSP/PVDM 3 is the concept of the MCU, but can be used for small multi-point calls and normally remote sites that need local accommodation to a call to reduce the load on the WAN link when most of the participant in the same place for example! and it dose taken support HD but limited features compared to MCU

for example PVDM3 doe does not support HD when participants are expected to use different video formats

    hope this helps

Probably, you want to know the benefits of active dataguard and dataguard 'normal '.

With active dataguard relief database can be opened read-only, and updates are applied to the primary real-time.

With normal dataguard the standby database is installed and update are applied but if you open the database in read-only mode, no updates will be applied.  You must put the database in managed for updates to apply recovery mode.

Clearly, the advantage is that you can use the database Eve with active dataguard for various purposes such as reporting in real time.

However, active dataguard is an option under license and do not pay for it.

  • What is the difference between this forum and the forum of mosc?

If you are MOS, then it is easy to get directed to the whole of the MOSC forums. What is the difference? Almost accidentally, I posted a question

in mosc. The problem is that I have done in the past and got spammed into oblivion with my e-mail address of work for years. I can't tell how

You can tell whether those email address will reveal or not. Never again!  But anyway why 2 sets of for one?

I can't speak for all spam you may or may not have been given, but I can briefly describe the difference.

Communities of MOS (MyOracleSupport) is mainly controlled by the members of the Support of Oracle (and other Oracle employees) and customers.  Access by the employees is reserved for customers with access to Support (MOS).  Thus, when you publish in MOSC responses usually come to an employee of Oracle or a paying customer of Oracle.

The OTN Forum is open to the public.  The feedback you get here, from someone like me (an Oracle Product Manager) or any employee of Oracle, Oracle customers, previous clients Oracle, students, teachers, consultants, people who like to just help with technical questions, people wanting to be malicious and lawyers.  We are trying to stop the last two as quickly as possible.

Just for the record, I watch the two Forums, but I focus more on this external one.  If my input is necessary to MOSC, one of the support team will be usually contact me and ask me to comment if I missed something.

My hope is that by focusing my attention on this external forum, I can better gasoline which uses the product, which is new to the product, which versions are used, what features are more desirable, and what problems are most often.  It also gives me the opportunity to propose corrections to erroneous information and rumors.

Related, but as my comment about "..." problems often encountered... ", as a result of the feedback mentioned in our last poll, I'll make a mini session at OOW14 (at the booth of DemoGround forms - time TBD soon) which will cover the WebUtil configuration.  In this informal session of 30 minutes, I'll show how quickly and easily WebUtil can be activated and form WebUtil demo in minutes.  There will be some other mini-sessions, but I thought that you would be interested in it.  Details coming soon...

  • Difference between an application and a Folio and what is not taken in charge

    Hello

I'm about to dive into work on my first app in InDesign.

I have two questions that are more specific, while I understand the difference.

    1. What is the difference between an App and a Folio?

    2. I also understand that native animations and synchronization options are NOT supported in a Folio for a DPS, the same system go for something later to be used as an application?

Just try to understand and start on the right foot

    Thank you!

Imagine a folio as content kind of as a book has pages.

    The app has a folio.

That said, you may not aware that only edition apps are no longer included in Creative cloud without a full account of DPS, you cannot create an app.

  • Difference between CPU DB and DB times

    Hello

What is the difference between CPU DB and DB AWR report?

    BR,
    REDA

For a session, with a view to the db, a session can be one of three things:

1 work (i.e. on the CPU or waiting for CPU)

    2. pending a not-idle event

    3 idle

    > 1DB CPU is the CPU time. It means only ACTIVELY work on CPU. Queue TIME is not included.

Queue time is not included - it is the CPU or waiting to get the CPU (which the db has no knowledge of)

    > In 10 Minute intervals with four CPU, is the Maximum DB CPU 40 Minutes?

    Fix.

    > It says that time DB = includes time CPU + IO time + queue time

E/s time is measured in queue time - file db scattered reading, sequential reading of file db, etc, etc.

    > Why has separated?

Don't know. Perhaps to clarify the absoluately then IO is included in DB times

    > Is it possbile to split TIME CPU? As the analysis etc... What display you give him?

    See time model statistics

    > in a given interval, where can I find NO idle timeout in AWR?

Top 5 + Foreground wait Class + waiting in the foreground events

  • Difference between the App and Folio?

I have a monthly subscription for the professional edition of DPS, I'm not going to not to renew at the end of the month.

With this Professional Edition subscription, I released an app on the iTunes store.

My question is, once my Professional Edition subscription will expire, folios still will be fulfilled when customers download the application? I recently bought a package of 1000 folios, and so I would like those who would still be available for download even if the subscription has expired?

Once my subscription will expire, and sheets are all downloaded, I would like to re - publish the application with the basic creative cloud subscription.

    Is this possible?

As I understand it, I always use the App Builder to build the application InDesign (unique folio). I always use Apple Application Loader to download on the iTunes store. But once the app is in the iTunes Store can't make more changes, etc. and of course I don't have access to the dashboard of DPS and analytics. Its a one-time shot so to speak.

My other question is, since I downloaded the application built in InDesign, it has always considered a folio and there download limits with just the creative cloud subscription? I looked at other threads on this forum and don't understand the difference between an application and a folio - aren't the same thing?

I spent 45 minutes on the phone with Adobe Gold support, and no one could answer this question. With the professional edition, monthly subscription, you get 250 download per month - is there a limit of downloads per month which comes with the subscription of creative cloud (hope this question makes sense).

    Thank you!

Applications of several questions, you keep your subscription Professional Edition that we make so the questions. The app is just a shell that downloads questions. Readers to download the app on iTunes, but then must purchase / to subscribe/download individual sheets within that application. If you do not have an active account of Professional Edition then readers can download your app on iTunes, but will not be able to download any folios.

Single edition applications are applications with a single folio grouped inside. Once it is published on iTunes he lives right on iTunes. If you cancel your subscription creative cloud app still lives in iTunes and people can download and use it since the folio is included directly in the application.

There is no limit on Single Edition downloads because once you publish on iTunes they have nothing to do with Adobe. It's just an app in the store.

  • Difference between a resource and a resource COMPUTER

    Hi all

When you look at the welcome page in the Advanced Administration of IOM to web application section, I noticed that "Managing resource" and "Managing IT resource" have their own links. Why? What is the difference between a resource and a resource? I also noticed that the TERMS I've created appear in the resource and the resource lists. Why? Please note that if these questions seem trivial, I am a beginner of IOM and am a little confused...

    Thanks in advance,
    user10233157

A resource is what identifies the object within the IOM targets. A resource is used to set your settings to connect to a specific system. The relationship is 1 to 1 or 1 to many resource for the resource. You can have an 'Active Directory' resource object, but have multiple targets of Active Directory defined as COMPUTER resources. As many times as you create a unique to a single resource object resource so that you don't treat multiple targets for a single object.

I suggest that go you through the installation of a connector so you can see all the different parts that make up a workflow.
