difference between 2 types of different plan account members

Can you find the difference between the dimension members account source with as 2 different plan types. Among the type of plan has also 2 extra dimensions.

You should be able to do so until one of the accounts is ALSO present in the other account stored in the type of plan. So probably Acc.member2
can be affected to have a 'plan Source Type' plan 2, but also be selected to appear in the level 1 when you change the Acc.member2 account in the web planning application. Planning would allow the account to appear in plan 1 via an XREF on the definition of member account in Essbase).

Then in plan 1 that you would create a third account that calculates the difference between the 2.

You would be able to analyze the variance by the dimensions in plan 1 (i.e. D1, 2, 3, & 4: plan of these dimensions common to both types)

Hope this helps

  • Installation of Oracle DB 11 g 1 material: differences between the types of database.

    Hello everyone.

Today, I had to install a DB Oracle 11 GR 1 material.

I installed the Oracle DB on a few occasions in the past. I had installed type selected the ' general purpose / transactional processing "and everything works fine.

The DB will be used to store a small data warehouse, BI staff considers that they will store approximately 2 GB per month.

The DB installation will take place on a server running RHEL 5.7 x86_64.

Could you please tell me the top 10 or top 5 differences between type ' general goal / Transaction Processing "and the"Data Warehouse "?

Maintenance tasks are different to the type of the data warehouse? is the case, what are the maintenance more frequent tasks?

I just saw really big data warehouses, this database will be small compared to these warehouses... do I have to install Oracle DB using the model of 'Data Warehouse' or I can install it using the "general use / transactional treatment" model?

    Please give me your advice.

    Thanks in advance!

There is nothing fundamentally different.  In my view, that the selection at the time of installation simply defines some initialization parms differently, which can always be changed at any time, as the need arises.  There is Nothing in the database itself that says "I'm a data warehouse, so I'll behave in a certain way and have certain requirements."

  • [JDev 12.1.3] The difference between the Type of Document "Facelets" and "JSP XML" when you create a new page?

    Hallo,

that is the difference between choosing as a Type of Document "Facelets" and choosing "JSP XML" when you create a new page?

Which is the best choiche and why? And is it possible to convert a page from one type to another?

    Thank you

    Federico

    Hi Federico

JSPX both Faceletes are equal to the feature and after Jdev Release11gR2, both are supported in the ADF

Facelets is deemed be better performance because it is more tight integrated with life cycle JSf and does not need to be compiled before running

The future speaks Facelets (specification of JSF) and if start you a new project in development with JDeveloper 11 g R2 then we recommend you use Facelets for this reason

    Thank you...

When you import a newspaper, you simply put the entries in a waiting area. These entries are not yet in your accounts.
Once you review the log and it looks good, you post.

And how for example of classical planning application (App created from planning) of EAS or planning business rules?
    Thank you

If you do not have the calculation Manager and you have chosen Manager of calculation for the rules I'm not sure what you expect.
Have you configured calc Manager and configured the web server to it.

  • Difference between tax and account recovery/tax liability?

What is the difference between taxes and tax recovery/liability account when you set up VAT in ebTax?

Normally I have to implement only VAT. Can I configure the account recovery/tax liability with the same tax expenditure account?

Please see question 23 to the notes 735970.1, Frequently Asked Questions - Oracle accounts payable and EBTax of installation.

The tax liability account will only if the tax is declared. If the tax is that self evaluate, then given that tax is payable separately for tax administration should be accounted separately the responsibility and the entry would be:

Expenditure a/c Dr (article account) 100

Tax expenses a/c Dr. (point VAC or tax costs VAC) 16

  • Difference between function and procedure

    Hi all

My doubt is that the procedure can be used to return multiple values with OUT parameter and function can also be used to do the same if necessary to return multiple values with OUT parameter.

So with this point of view, which is maybe the difference between these types of the two objects. and obviously if necessary to choose one of these two, we'll go to procedure, why not function?

What is perhaps the reason for this?

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards

Would you care to show what you mean. To the best of my knowledge this last statement is not correct.

The main difference for procedures and functions it program design.

A procedure should be used for something that is running a process, where nothing is required to be returned.
A function should be used when a value is required to be returned.

Yes, the procedures can have OUT parameters (as can functions) but that is generally considered bad practice. If you have values be returned, you must use a function with an appropriate return type (structured type if necessary) so that all the requirements of data is returned via the return value. IMO the only acceptable practice to use variables is when you use a variable IN OUT for something in a procedure for this element which is manipulated by the procedure, so for example you'd 'ManipulateData (myData); as a procedure rather than "myData: = ManipulateData (myData);" in function, where the latter would be using resources of additional memory (copies of data) in most cases.

  • Difference between different models (sold in different regions) of the iPhone 7

I'm traveling to the Japan, and it turns out that my phone broke. So, I plan to buy iPhone 7. But I noticed that there are different models according to the countries or regions. According to Apple customer service, it has to do with different bands of LTE in different regions. But exactly the same bands that WE supported the Japanese model (which is completely separate from all other) / version of the EU with the exception of it's CDMA.  She would work very well after my return to Europe (Germany)? Where can I buy non-CDMA, GSM version for the Japan as well.

Each file type is in a different format.  The formats are different
    essentially for two reasons:

    1. the files contain any other type of information. For
example, an mp3 file contains a music and a xls file contains a
worksheet. The music and spreadsheets are very different things and one
a unique type of guy would not work for both.

    2. There is also the example of the types of files that are very different, even
Although basically they both contain the same type of data. For example,.
a doc file is a file created by Microsoft Word processor (or
some compatible programs) and a wpd file is a text file
created by WordPerfect. This is because Word and WordPerfect are two
very different programs, with very different characteristics. Designers
and authors of each of the programs designed for a type of file that would be
works very well with their program.
