difference between administrators and users

Hello

I've just created a new site for my customer to Business Catalyst, using Adobe Muse and want to give my client access to the tools of sites.  The site includes parameters for the creation of user roles.  What is the difference between an administrator role and a user role.  Are there limits to how many administrators or users, there may be?    Thank you.

Edit: I think I'm getting a few ideas on how it works from this link http://helpx.adobe.com/business-catalyst/using/site-users.html#id_37324 but is not yet sure.  I infer from the thread that there is a limit of 3 Directors.  This includes administrators more users in total 3?  Thank you.

Barbara

'Administrators' and 'Users' are two different (and default) user http://helpx.adobe.com/business-catalyst/using/user-roles.htmlroles > on a site of BC that distinguishes between a site role or permissions user/admin access. Each site BC regardless of its plan has 3 admin/site users http://www.businesscatalyst.com/pricing/monthly> which can be upgraded later to a higher number from the partner portal for non-epreuve sites that are under BC stand-alone subscription http://helpx.adobe.com/business-catalyst/kb/detailed-plan-breakdown.html#id_32561>.

Thank you

Vinayak

  • Difference between variable interface user layout and presentation of the add() method UI?

    Hello

    What is the difference between a variable user interface layout and presentation of the add() method UI?

    Presentation of the variable user interface is something like this:

    var windowResource = "palette {  \
        orientation: 'column', \
        alignChildren: ['fill', 'top'],  \
        preferredSize:[300, 130], \
        text: 'ScriptUI Window - palette',  \
        margins:15, \
        \
        bottomGroup: Group{ \
            cd: Checkbox { text:'Checkbox value', value: true }, \
            cancelButton: Button { text: 'Cancel', properties:{name:'cancel'}, size: [120,24], alignment:['right', 'center'] }, \
            applyButton: Button { text: 'Apply', properties:{name:'ok'}, size: [120,24], alignment:['right', 'center'] }, \
        }\
    }";

    var win = new Window(windowResource);

    win.show();

    presentation of the UI Add() method is something like this:

    var w = new Window('dialog', 'Random Number Generator');
    var btn_group = w.add('group'),
        btn_ok = btn_group.add('button', undefined, 'Ok');

    w.show();

    Thank you!

    Since the Guide Javascript Tools on the specifications of the resource (you're high example on the page):

    You can create one or more UI both elements by using a resource specification. This specially formatted string provides a simple and compact of the creation of an element, including any container element and its constituent elements. The resource-specification string is passed as a parameter to the constructor function Window() or add().

    The general structure of a resource specification is a specification of item type (for example, dialog box).

    followed by a pair of curly braces surrounding one or more property definitions.

    myResource var = 'dialogue {control_specs} ";

    var myDialog is new window (myResource);.

    The controls are defined as properties in windows and other containers. For each control, give the name of the control class, followed by the properties of the control between braces.

    I had trouble getting the resource specifications to work - probably just didn't make the time to understand. A few differences is that some of the properties that they put in the resource specifications in brackets after the element will not work in the other method, if you do it this way. You normally have to make a second line and add this property. I'm not sure of the first method, but the second is the function object, and you can use the structure of the object (object, nextProperty, etc.) or set a variable to represent the object. In most of the scripts that I write, I use variables and give them a name such as:

    myCheckBox var = dlg.inSomeGroup.add ('checkbox', undefined, "text box '");

    myCheckBox.name = "maCaseACocher";

    By doing this, I can create a recursive function that goes through the entire user interface and retrieves the values of the elements and writes this information to an xml file. Including the names allows the script to identify which variable to control / it is in the xml file, so that it can be reassigned to proper control. I have not tried this with the method of specifications for resources, so I don't know if it will work with it.

    With the LabVIEW MathScript node, the blue rectangular region, you
    can run scripts from files ".m" of your graph (known as LabVIEW programs

    to insert text algorithms in a VI and then use the LabVIEW

  • What is the difference between AXIEM and EMSIght? What are the benefits of AXIEM by EMSight if any?

    I wonder what are the differences between AXIEM and EMSight. Are associated with application? One is better than the other? Please explain.

    AWR estimated AXIEM most powerful plan EM Simulator around.   AXIEM is at the center of continuous research and improvement, while EMSight is only worked on if revealed serious flaws.  Here is a summary of the differences:

    Mesh

    • EMSight must mesh the nearest grid drivers using rectangles.  This causes the mesh to have more elements mesh when there are small and large geometries.  The grid should be small enough to capture the small geometry but then causes large geometries to mesh more.   In addition, angled or curved structures causes inefficiencies mesh.

    • AXIEM STS forms, rather than a grid.  In addition, the mesh can be rectangle or triangle.   This allows a much more efficient mesh.   AXIEM generally have a much more efficient

    • AXIEM contains the ability to process forms to clean geometries that cause inefficiencies of the mesh.  EMSight does not have this feature.

    • AXIEM can forms thick metal mesh, EMSight can not, and user must make approximations when thick metal will change coupling (loss is recorded properly with the thickness of the metal)

    Ports

    • The ports are for the most part similar, but parasites due on AXIEM ports are less.  In addition, the AXIEM has a side wall, thus the effects of not move of the terms of reference of the edge of the line are a lot less AXIEM in.

    • Ports can be added to most any place in geometry with AXIEM.  For EMSight, the ports are usually only added outside the geometry and have limitations to the aircraft on either side of the reference speaker.

    Problem solvers

    • EMSight does not have a low frequency Solver.  Stop low-frequency and then extrapolate to DC.  This usually works well, but you must take into account if the extrapolation is accurate.  AXIEM presents both a low and high frequency Solver so will do better in a low frequencies generally much better in DC.

    • Solver of EMSight scales O (n) ^ 2 for memory and O (n) ^ 3 for the moment.   It has a special algorithm to break the question of memory, but the question of time is the killer.  AXIEM has a direct Solver which scales in the same way and an iterative Solver which will scale O (nlogn).   In other words, AXIEM can solve a lot of bigger problems than EMSight.

    • Several AXIEM processes are multithreaded as EMSight.

    Speaker

    • EMSight is inside a perfect driver side wall.   This works well if you the circuit is in the same cavity.  If not, you must know the rules of them on to the forms of space of the flanks and how that much to extend the port could reference planes.   AXIEM is not here.   AXIEM does not currently have to simulate a perfect driver side wall.

    I don't know that I missed a few aspects of the tools.   From the point of view of the AWR that AXIEM is the tool of choice, except in a few cases have been EMSight may be required.

  • Differences between navigationClick and the TrackWheelListener

    In fact, I have a few questions here.

    What are the differences between navigationClick and the TrackWheelListener?  When should I use that one.  I'm trying to follow the MVC pattern.

    Is there a good example of a code that follows the MVC pattern?

    The TrackwheelListener really must be used when a peripheral wheel and make your own custom management of movements on the device wheel.  Due to the transition between the wheel (eg. 8700) and trackball devices (eg. 8100 and more) we mapped the trackball to the TrackwheelListener events in an attempt to ensure backward compatibility.  However, it does appear the following limitations:

    (1) left and right movement does not exist in a TrackwheelListener, but it is possible using the Trackball.  As a result, users have a user experience on a Trackball device.  Many vendors allow the user, hold down the ALT key and roll the ball up and down control to indicate the left/right movement as a work-around.  But again, this isn't the best user experience.

    (2) TrackwheelListener is an independent mechanism of the UI classes.  Therefore, once you receive notification of a movement or click you are then required to determine which field in your user interface should work on this movement or click.  This requires additional processing and the code to determine how to handle the event.

    Therefore, the recommendation is that you would substitute navigationClick, navigationMovement, and navigationUnclick methods to manage all movement of the trackball and scroll wheel.  It will manage both wheel and trackball devices correctly which solves #1.  It is also integrated in the UI classes themselves which reduces the impact of the #2 above.

    The only drawback to the use of these methods is that it requires your application built with the JDE 4.2.0 and requires a minimum of 4.2.0 terminal software.  For the vast majority of third-party developers, v4.2.0 is a sufficient minimum requirement given the proportion of the market that is running 4.2.0 or higher (over 75%).

  • What is the difference between Fdisk and Chkdsk programs?

    Hello:

    I don't think I have a common question of OS knowledge and I worked a lot with both, however for years so I forgot everything I used to know.  I was talking to someone Executibles MS-DOS command line and this person I know told me in email and I did not at the moment, but he said the following:

    "Fdisk and chkdsk are pretty much the same.

    Being an old Microsoft OS Engineer I knew it was wrong, however I've been retired since almost 20 years and I have not worked with either for a while.  I looked in the KB for articles explaining the difference between fdisk and chkdsk or define at least the two against each other, but there is no specific article I could find.  I remember the days when the scariest user had a problem, but they ran all third party software on their computer and have installed BETA version software etc so I'm sure you know the drill and this type of person.

    The person who said this about fdisk and chkdsk is one of those people.  It is a really nice guy, but a nightmare to Microsoft when you talk to a convenience store to the BONE for assistance.  Is there someone out there who could you, please, help me and summarize an irrefutable definition or description indicating the differences between fdisk and chkdisk?  I don't remember the basic functions both I widely used both, but too many years have passed and I don't want to sound like a fool trying to write about the differences.

    I'd appreciate any help I want to educate my friend and the intention is to not make this person feel like a stupid either.

    Thank you, and I expect your response.

    Eric

    The two are completely different, one is a format utility the other is a utility disk check

    Fdisk was used in earlier versions of victory

  • U3014, the difference between CAL1 and CAL2 modes?

    In the preset mode color space for U3014 30 "monitor, what is the difference between CAL1 and CAL2? I tried both, but couldn't say a diff.  I know they are both precalibre mode that comes with the monitor.  Any info will be appreciated.

    course at 100%.

    Look, in these internal calibration of monitors's done it with a 3DLUT. The native range is greater than AdobeRGB (in red).
    Standard and modes Custom comes with native and native range WhitePoint (GBLED whitepoint, colder than D65 native), custom mode allows yo to set your desired white point.
    At the factory, 2 calibrations are stored in LUT3D and they are NOT editable by the users (but can be corrected by GPU):
    AdobeRGB: R, G & B coordinated (especially red coordinated), white point, and gamma of 2.2. 2nd is not very accurate.
    sRGB: R, G & B coordinated, white point gamma and sRGB. 2nd is not very accurate.

    AND as typical, monitor allows yo to store values of x LUT3D 2: CAL1 and CAL2 but it only works with the Dell Solution of Calibration color (DA), and DA only works them with i1DisplayPro.
    CAL1 and CAL2 are just "USER SLOTS" for the storage of LUT3D calibrations, nothing more.
    To the factory settings, they should behave in Standard mode.

  • Difference between FYI and Notification

    Hi all

    Sorry for the dummy question, but I'm a newbie BPM/BPMN and try to understand better what I use for my modeling process.

    Could you please explain to me the difference between the FYI and Notification? When it is better to use?

    Asked me to send an e-mail notification to users just to let them know where the process is, no manual action is required and the process must continue without interruption.

    Thanks for any help.

    Fairlie

    Hi Fairlie,

    Here is a tool of 2 page that lists all the different activities in BPMN, gateways and Oracle 11g and 12 c BPM events and what they serve each to- https://blogs.oracle.com/soacommunity/entry/bpm_poster_for_bpm_suite

    In your use case where you want to send an email to someone, and no manual intervention is required, use the Notification activity.

    News is an Interactive activity and causes a work item instance appear in the Inbox an end user in the workspace.  The difference between this and other types of interactive activities is that the work item instance does not stop at this activity in the process, but instead continues on the next activity in the process.

    A Notification activity is an automatic activity which does not create an instance of work item in an Inbox in the workspace, but rather sends a message of electronic mail, instant messaging, SMS or voice.

    When the work item instances reach these two activities, they do not stop and continue them automatically the next activity in the process.

  • Differences between archiving and off of a qualitative research within the Admin Data Toolbox.

    Hello

    Can you please let me know what could be the difference between archiving and the deactivation of the Qualitative research in data Admin Tool Kit.

    Thank you

    Rohini M

    When you idle or archive anything it is no longer available for selection.   The difference between inactive and the archives, it's inactive items still appear available for the fine items while searching of archive will not be.

    Allows so that you have the following to say:

    List A

    -Article 1

    -Article 2

    List items

    If you were to inactivate the point 1, end-users is more would see can be selected when you use the extended qualitative attribute.  However when they are looking for specifications based on the extended attribute, they would still be able to select 1 point, whereas they could find objects that this value was used. If you archive Item 1, end users should display it no longer available for selection from anywhere - including research.

    Lists

    If you were to inactive or archive the whole list, you would see is no longer available for selection when the establishment of a qualitative research of extended attributes.   I don't think that there's nowhere you can search for extended attributes by the list of research currently out of the box so that they would act similar.  Is there a place to find attributes extended by the search list and then he would follow the same rules as above.

  • difference between Instant and complete customer oracle

    Everyone,

    I had read a PDF of goldengate lines below. Someone please explain to me what is the difference between Instant and complete customer oracle?

    What is the purpose of the XDK libraries. ?

    "The full Oracle client must be used with the GoldenGate so GoldenGate programs"
    have access to the Oracle XDK libraries. Do not use the Oracle Instant Client, who has not
    These libraries. You can download the full client from Oracle's Web site. »

    Kind regards
    Santini

    The dealio is the following:

    When you install the client software, you have several options as to the degree of what you get/install. The big chicken dinner is administrator, so you get all sorts of additional features, modules, libraries, utilities, etc. Candy hard end of Christmas is instantaneous, and has just enough features for, as you can guess now, connect a customer and that's about it. Several libraries have the feature in what that extra is needed. An example is FAN, or fast application notification, used the shift in Data Guard. A FAN API (Java) detects a failover and redirect a new client connection to the primary. GG use XDK for (in particular) is not important to a user, just the fact that it is available to connect to Oracle.

  • Difference between privilege and access profile

    Hi all

    Any1 can tell me the difference between profiles and access privileges assigned to the user.

    Thanks in advance.

    Raghu, access profile (step 3) and privileged (step 4) are part of the role of the user. Export of lists is an example of a privilege. Access profile determines which records a user has access to based on the property of users or not owner. I recommend you take the webinar "data access and visibility to control Presentation."

  • Difference between SYSDBA and DBA

    Hi all

    Could someone tell me the difference between SYSDBA and DBA. I'm confused...

    Thank you
    Nagi

    DBA is a combination of roles and privileges, and it is a ROLE.
    SYSDBA is a system privilege which grants the user to the start/stop/create/drop/backup of database.

    In addition, SYSOPERs can not create or drop database. Also a DBA may not stop the database but may import or export complete database.

    There are other things to mention, but please refer to the Oracle documentation.

    It will be useful,

    Ogan
