Difference of TTS and TDB 12 c and 11g to import non - CBD in PDB

According to http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/database/Enterprise-Edition/full-transportable-WP-12C-1973971.PDF , I use full Transportable to the export and import of 12 c and + 11.2.0.3 to a non - CBD database transport in a PDB file.

-That's a very similar concept as TTS in 11g? Application and user tablespaces must be read-only unless I want the target to be only read-only and must have the same database and the same national character set. To import storage space in an existing Database, I need to copy the data files and import the datapump metadata. Where I have to deal with different endian between source and target, I use RMAN on the source or target to convert data files. The EXPDP in 11g use TRANSPORT_TABLESPACE = Y.

12 c and + 11.2.0.3, I can use Datapump EXPDP with FULL = Y TRANSPORTABLE = ALWAYS. As far as I understand it, I don't know, unlike the previous TTS is how EXPDP treats provided Oracle database objects. Is this correct?

According to the guide of students 12 c new features of Oracle, in order to move a non - CBD in a preliminary draft BUDGET, I should first of all, for example, a TTS or BDM export and then perform an import TTS or BDM in the PDB using export dump files metadata and a data tablespace.

I'm confused. As far as I know, TDB requires RMAN convert, which creates a special SQL script to import the database. I can do with Datapump TDB?

Try to look for some examples I found http://Oracle-base.com/articles/12C/upgrading-to-12C.php#transport-database . He also mentions the Transport database, but actually seem to use TTS using datapump.

Could someone please shed some light on the different concepts and it is what? I already spent reviewing the literature. Thank you!

I came to the following conclusions, so far:

Complete Transportable Import/Export, available, in 11.2.0.3 and later versions and TTS (Transportable Tablespace) can be used to a basic database not directly transport container in the PDB or CBD, without having first put the database source to 12 c. TTS, however, may require a separate import/export to transfer schema objects in the sysaux tablespace or system.

TDB (Transportable Database) for the transport of a database complete, usable only to transfer a non - CBD to a BDC, and the source database must be upgraded first to 12 c.

  • Resume it AGAIN APPLY: differences of 10g and 11g

    Versions > 10.2, 11.2
    OS > Solaris

    I have a question about step 4 below.
    In 10g and 11g versions for a physical Standby DB, you

    Step 1.
    Mount the DB using
    startup nomount;
    alter database mount ;
    Step 2. Start using it to apply
    alter database recover managed standby database disconnect from session;
    Step 3. Open the DB to help ensure
    recover managed standby database cancel; -- stop the redo apply
    alter database open ;
    Step 4. Resume it AGAIN APPLY
    alter database recover managed standby database using current logfile disconnect ;
    At this point (after step 4), version 10.2, the standby DB goes back to fashion to Mount , but DB 11.2 remains Open for READ ONLY queries because of the ACTIVE DATAGUARD feature. Am I wrong?

    Yes, you are right.

    In 10g, there is no active dataguard option (application of redo is not possible when the database is open). Application of roll forward is only possible when the backup database is in the editing phase. When the database is opened in read-only, the application mode of archive is not possible. In order to execute queries against database tables, a physical standby database, he had to stop the log apply and open the database in read-only mode. This means that the log files are waiting for this period and should be applied once the database is returned to the managed recovery mode.

    11 g, this isn't the case. It allows users to have read-only access to the pending physical databases. This option gives continuous customers the flexibility to run queries to the database physical standby, while log shipping and apply its work. The application archive is possible even when the database is open read-only. This option is called Active Dataguard (Oracle, high availability). To do this, the steps you have mentioned are perfect. It's the advantage in 11g.

  • ROW_NUMBER differences between 10g and 11g

    Hello and all my apologies if this has been previously answered, I searched but not found an answer.

    I have a simple table: X

    Address Source feature
    13534780 547045234 A
    5903573 547045234 A
    9805116 582004049 A
    9808958 582004049 A
    6429371 583032305 A
    6669148 583032305 A

    When I run the following SQL code:

    Select Address, Entity, row_number () over (partition by entity by Source order): the nurse of X;

    Oracle 10g, you get:

    Treat the entity RN
    5903573 547045234 1
    13534780 547045234 2
    9805116 582004049 1
    9808958 582004049 2
    6429371 583032305 1
    6669148 583032305 2

    then 11g, we obtain:

    Treat the entity RN
    13534780 547045234 1
    5903573 547045234 2
    9808958 582004049 1
    9805116 582004049 2
    6669148 583032305 1
    6429371 583032305 2

    If I repeat these races, they are always consistent within each version of the database, which is what I expected.

    Is it due only to order the rows in the table have been loaded and how can I within the query ensure parity between the two versions.

    Thank you.

    Source control - the source is the same for both records, oracle cannot guarantee the new Ordinance, alwas, you can have the chance to get different results. If you need to make the order by clause, which must be a subsequent order by other attraibutes

    Of course there is a difference between the GPU nVidia drivers (or drivers provided by manufacturers of graphics cards) and the drivers provided by Toshiba.

    The Toshiba driver page GPU drivers are changed and made for the mobile use.
    Each laptop model supports various components (CPU, cooling, modules, etc.) and different design. That is why the heat dissipation is always different.

    The GPU driver provided by Toshiba supports a kind of GPU overheating protection and protects the graphics chip of the damage. This means that the GPU performance are controlled by the driver and in case the internal temperature would rise to critical level, it would decrease the performance of the GPU. Also the laptop stops automatically if the temperature is too high.

  • What is the difference between AXIEM and EMSIght? What are the benefits of AXIEM by EMSight if any?

    I wonder what are the differences between AXIEM and EMSight. Are associated with application? One is better than the other? Please explain.

    AWR estimated AXIEM most powerful plan EM Simulator around.   AXIEM is at the center of continuous research and improvement, while EMSight is only worked on if revealed serious flaws.  Here is a summary of the differences:

    Mesh

    • EMSight must mesh the nearest grid drivers using rectangles.  This causes the mesh to have more elements mesh when there are small and large geometries.  The grid should be small enough to capture the small geometry but then causes large geometries to mesh more.   In addition, angled or curved structures causes inefficiencies mesh.

    • AXIEM STS forms, rather than a grid.  In addition, the mesh can be rectangle or triangle.   This allows a much more efficient mesh.   AXIEM generally have a much more efficient

    • AXIEM contains the ability to process forms to clean geometries that cause inefficiencies of the mesh.  EMSight does not have this feature.

    • AXIEM can forms thick metal mesh, EMSight can not, and user must make approximations when thick metal will change coupling (loss is recorded properly with the thickness of the metal)

    Ports

    • The ports are for the most part similar, but parasites due on AXIEM ports are less.  In addition, the AXIEM has a side wall, thus the effects of not move of the terms of reference of the edge of the line are a lot less AXIEM in.

    • Ports can be added to most any place in geometry with AXIEM.  For EMSight, the ports are usually only added outside the geometry and have limitations to the aircraft on either side of the reference speaker.

    Problem solvers

    • EMSight does not have a low frequency Solver.  Stop low-frequency and then extrapolate to DC.  This usually works well, but you must take into account if the extrapolation is accurate.  AXIEM presents both a low and high frequency Solver so will do better in a low frequencies generally much better in DC.

    • Solver of EMSight scales O (n) ^ 2 for memory and O (n) ^ 3 for the moment.   It has a special algorithm to break the question of memory, but the question of time is the killer.  AXIEM has a direct Solver which scales in the same way and an iterative Solver which will scale O (nlogn).   In other words, AXIEM can solve a lot of bigger problems than EMSight.

    • Several AXIEM processes are multithreaded as EMSight.

    Speaker

    • EMSight is inside a perfect driver side wall.   This works well if you the circuit is in the same cavity.  If not, you must know the rules of them on to the forms of space of the flanks and how that much to extend the port could reference planes.   AXIEM is not here.   AXIEM does not currently have to simulate a perfect driver side wall.

    I don't know that I missed a few aspects of the tools.   From the point of view of the AWR that AXIEM is the tool of choice, except in a few cases have been EMSight may be required.
