Preview of Safari problem

Get an overview of my pages in Firefox, Opera and Chrome, as well as 'Live View '. But when I preview them in Safari, there is no space between paragraphs. All type resembles a big paragraph. In addition, my photos in Safari not to float to the right (by my CSS rule). Rather, they are on the left side or center of the page.

It's a Safari bug, and if so, how can I fix? Or is it a problem with my code? I suspect it's the latter, but I went through for hours and didn't find anything wrong.

(Also, in a question a little, I can preview my pages in Chrome if I open the browser, then click on file > open a file.) When I try to open Chrome with globe icon in Dreamweaver, I get a page that reads, "this Web page is not found. No Web page has been found for the web address... ("Any suggestions on how I can get Chrome to preview pages with the icon, or is this a common problem?)

I would be very grateful to anyone who can help you. The following encoding:

But when I add text, there is no space between paragraphs - not in Design view, split view or the browser previews.

It's very strange.

  • My site will not preview in safari

When I choose a preview page or site in safari, I get an error and it does not open. I've been using this site and make changes to it successfully for more than a year. There are a few boxes of composition on some pages (I read that maybe that's the problem), but it happens that even when I'm trying to get a glimpse of a page without any. There is no number of real error on the screen in safari, but this happens:

    Hi Beth,

Have you tried a new site Preview in safari, as happens on another browser.

Please, try to change your default browser and confirm if the problem persists.

  • Preview in Safari doesn't work once?

It's new, just started today. (Mac Mavericks 10.9.5)

I get the exact behavior even in 2014, DW and DW 2015 CC CC.

When I open any HTML file in Dreamweaver and choose to 'Preview in Safari', I get a grey Safari screen that says "Safari cannot find the file? A file of this type exist at the address "/ CUSTOMER DATA...» ». (CUSTOMER DATA is the name of the volume hard drive I store all my website files on).

I can't see what is the problem, but I can't fix it?

Either Dreamweaver sends the string path wrong local file in Safari or Safari changes the path of the file after the first attempt. (All my HTML files in all my other Mac browsers - Opera, Chrome, Firefox, etc works fine)

    Here's what happens:

    (1) I do a Reset Safari and quit Safari

    (2) I chose to preview a file Dreamweaver HTML in Safari - for example: file:///Volumes/CLIENT%20DATA/CLIENT%20SITES/FAMTrips/Sicily2016/Sicily2016.html - seems

    (3) I chose to AGAIN Preview in Safari (the same or any other HTML page) and it removes the ' Volumes / "part of the repertoire of string and I get the blank screen of Safari mentioned above, since it cannot find the file without the full file path.". So that the path looks like this on subsequent tries: file:///CLIENT%20DATA/CLIENT%20SITES/FAMTrips/Sicily2016/Sicily2016.html

Like I say it only does, it's Safari. If I RESET SAFARI and quit Safari and try then to Dreamweaver, it will preview THE FIRST TIME, then it starts to remove the "VOLUMES /" track?

Any ideas? I tried to reset the path of access to the site in DW a deletion of the DW and Safari prefs. Very strange that is works perfectly "first time only"?

Safari send you an update today?

  • JPEG not appear when previewing in safari, but when given after the download to the browser. CS5

Hi, I'm afraid I don't know the jargon that someone else has put it for me and I just make new pages based on the templates.

But I've just uploaded 9 new pages all with 9 small images related to 9 corresponding large images. They work all but one where I changed the image a few months later. So, now the small 9 images and it's corresponding image large to come up with a blue mark issue in Safari and space in Firefox. However when you save, click Preview in Safari etc everything works fine.

I checked the names of jpeg have no space and no ceiling. They have exactly the same length as the other names of jpeg within this set of pages; nothing is more 10 letters or numbers. Also, they are the two RGB as someone mentioned that could be a problem.

Everything works fine in pages and all the links work.

    I hope someone can help.

  • different Dreamweaver browser preview in safari browser

    Hello

I have issues with the placement of the elements, or should I say especially when it comes to preview in a browser like Safari or Chrome.  Things seem to be correct in the on-line display of the Dreamweaver CC.  Is there something wrong with my code?  I have also validated HTML and CSS property.  I have attached a screenshot to show how it is a little screen.  I did my best to learn some CSS through lynda.com. But I don't know that I'm doing something wrong.

    Thank you.

A link to your page online would be more productive, then we could see what you see in a browser.

It might have something to do with the preferences of your browser (Zoom should be 100% or normal).

Negative margins are an invitation to problems.  I want to stay clear of it until you have more experience and understand the consequences.

Another thing, use no special characters or spaces in your file names.  On the web, this can cause the rendered image & file path problems.

Rename this file: sergei & .png sergei_temple or sergei-temple temple but do not use the ampersand special character that is not valid.  It goes the same for movie%20icon.svg (remove space which is converted to % 20).

  • Chrome can't find my file preview. Safari, Firefox ok.

Using DW8, Mac Snow Leopard.  Preview in Chrome says file not found.

It is a known problem with Chrome.   Copy the URL from Safari or Firefox and paste it into the address bar of Chrome.

  • El Capitan Preview Zoom App problem with PDFs

    Hello world

After the upgrade to Yosemite to El Capitan (10.11.5), I noticed a strange when behavior you zoom in PDFs with Preview.app. Crossing of a certain zoom level obviously breaks the screen refresh. The window turns white, while the text and the images disappear. Also has anyone seen this behavior with Preview.app? Is that what I can do to fix this problem?

    Thanks in advance,

    Kind regards

    Alex

    Hi A_H,

Welcome to the communities of Apple Support! It is a great place to get help with the issue of zoom that you encounter in the application overview since the update to El Capitan. I will be happy to provide you with suggestions.

For starters, let's you completely exit the application overview and restart your Mac. Here are instructions on force quit an application:

Force a nearby application on your Mac.

The next step would be to restart your Mac in safe mode. The support article title is a bit misleading, but this step is very valid. From your Mac in safe mode will erase some caches, conduct system audits and prevent some elements of the user to open automatically. Here is the information on how to enter safe mode:

Try safe mode if your Mac does not end commissioning

If after you restart normally, you always run into questions within the preview, I recommend creating a test user account. This will help isolate if it's a problem specific to the user, either something across the system. You can use the following resource:

How to test a question in another account on your Mac.

    Have a great day!

  • Safari problem with el capitan 10.14.4

I use a MacBook Pro mid 2012. I just upgraded to El Capitan 10.14.4 and have now some problems with Safari 9.1. Some links on the BBC News site no longer work. During the inspection of these links, they begin with < button id >. Can someone tell what is happening and how to fix it?

I found a work around for the problem. Use Firefox instead of Safari, as the problem does not occur in Firefox!

  • Safari problems with iPad

I can open Safari on my iPad, (model ME392B/A, version 9.3) but no links beyond all. My iPhone and Mac Book pro work perfectly. I don't know if it's a problem of the iPad or Safari. I tried to reset it completely using the two buttons to turn off then wait awhile before Relighting. Can you help me?

  • 9.3 iOS safari problem

I have problem with research on safari and mail lroblems after updating to iOS 9.3, when will it be fixed?

Hello! This is a common problem and there is currently no permanent solution.

Try turning off JavaScript under settings - Safari - Advanced.

Keep patience, I think soon Apple will figure things out.

  • Memory of Safari problem

    Hello world!

I have a problem with Safari on my Mac.

All of a sudden, a couple of weeks Safari began to consume all the memory available, even without any charge, just with a tab of Google. At that time, I used the public beta version of 10.11.2, but now I use 10.11.2 version and the problem was not solved for me. Also, I tried everything I could: browser, manually deleting both files cookie and preferences, as well as delivery extensions. I even reinstalled El Capitan, but without formatting the drive. BTW, I use TimeMachine.

    Material: MBP 8.1, 2.3 GHz, 10 GB RAM i5, memory: Plextor PX-256M5S.

    You have any ideas?

Your computer/library/google search and see if you have a software update. If so, remove it. Otherwise, it is very likely and extension or plugin that is the cause.

  • Safari problems

I received a warning a few days I got a virus on my 2009 27 OS x 10.8.5 iMac ago. The warning said that I had some problems with Safari and he suggested I call a phone number and said something to stop or not to close Safari.  I thought it was a scam want me contact one source that would open to attack me, so I closed my browser and sent a warning to friends I had just sent an e-card to.  I then opened my Firefox browser, downloaded the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware software and ran a scan on my Mac.  He showed no problem at all.  I stopped and restarted my Mac and had no problems.

Now, after a few days, I started to see my very slow Safari, especially on Facebook.  I checked my operation of Facebook using Firefox and it seemed to work normally.  When I Quit Safari and restarted, it now, I can longer open any website.  Can anyone give me any suggestions of what is happening or what I can do to fix this?  This inquiry is sent from my Firefox browser.

Unfortunately, I did not write about what said the warning I received.  I tried to do a command + P to print, but had no luck with that.

It was a scam.  It is highly unlikely that something has been installed on your computer which did not exist as a first step, as you do not have call all numbers or give anyone a remote access to your computer.  Go to http://www.etresoft.com/etrecheck , download and run EtreCheck, copy paste here the status report.  It will give us an overview of your system right now, and if there is something about it which contributes to your slow, let's see and know how to proceed from there.
