link to my email in dreamweaver browser
Whenever I click on a link in dreamweaver, it automatically starts outlook. How do I put a link to got to my email without outlook?
mailto: links open your default e-mail client. Obviously, your new computer has Outlook or Outlook Express set as the default e-mail program. This has nothing to do with Dreamweaver.

This MozillaZine Knowledge Base article shows how to set a different browser like IE as default browser.

I'm using Firefox 36.0.4 with several groups.
Firefox is set as my default browser.
When I click on a link in an email or another application, nothing happens.
It all started when I started using the groups feature.
Seems that there is no 'default' group to open.Open Internet Explorer Windows. Stated as default browser.
If you wish, you can disable the "check if default" option. Now, open Firefox and stated as a default value.

mail freezes on ipad when I tap on a link in an email
Yes, it's a problem known and recognized with no simple solution. Some have managed to enter their settings, safari and disabling javascript. For others, the best "fix" is simply use another browser until Apple releases an update.
Regarding mail, you simply can't click links in your mail using the apple mail application.

I can't open links in the email Outlook 2007 on Windows Vista
The links in my email do not work in Outlook 2007. I use Windows Vista. Links worked fine until I installed then uninstalled Google Chrome. No idea how I can fix the links?
Thank you
It's called the problem after you have uninstalled Chrome. It is ultimately a default browser related issue; There are different 'cure', but none exactly foolproof. Here are some of the threads I have my favorites:

Original title: problem e mail
I click on the links in the email and get a box that says: "this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action" and the link cannot be opened.
Suggestions;
1. make sure that your e-mail program is your default program.
2. make sure that your Internet Explorer, or your main browser has all its faults.
You can do both of the above by following these steps...
Start button > right column, click default programs > click Set Your Default programs...
1. click on your e-mail program > it doesn't say "this program has all its defaults"?
If not, click on choose by default for this program > check all boxes below the list > click on save when finished.2 do the same as above for your Internet Explorer, or your main browser.

When a link to an email expire?
Looking for general/fact info. After sending an email, how long they durent the links in the email? We have a scenario where we publish the link from the browser to a newsletter on our web pages so that visitors can see collection.
If the email is archived or expired, which "kills" links?
I just want to check how long we can expect that the link is valid.
Thank you!
Cheli
Hi Cheli,
All emails sent will maintain the link "View in browser" until they are archived or marked as expired. Only emails will be marked as expired if they have not been sent or published after 4 months. If you find that there are still e-mail messages are not archived/expired and the link does not work please let me know and we can make tests to determine if there is another question.
Thank you

When I click on a link in an email, it opens in a window behind my Home Page. I find it annoying to have to click view, and then click the window for the desired link. In Firefox preferences that I ticked "open new windows in a new tab instead", but the problem persists.
Hello
Sorry to hear what happens if you run firefox in safe mode?
"If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:
- Click the menu button
click Help
then select restart with disabled modules.
If Firefox does not work, you can start Firefox in Mode safe as follows:
- On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
- On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
- On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
(you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)
When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."
If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.
To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.
- Click the menu button
