Different menus in Muse (H & V)

I would like to create two different menu in Adobe Muse. A horizontally on the top and a portrait in a sidebar to the left.

Both must contain links to different pages.

Is this possible? Thanks for the help!

These menus widget follow the plan of your site, by default, all pages-top row and if the value (with the little blue button on the side). But there is also a setting "Manually", that will offer you a generic bunch of menus and a "+" to add menus. In this mode, you can manually change all the labels and links.

I would put two menus of different horizontal navigation on my site, along the top, the other along the bottom. I can't find a way of making them different however (i.e. of each navigation menu so you to different parts of the site). Inside one reflects all changes to the top. Is it possible to which allows you to navigate to the different pages of the site on two different menus? Any help much appreciated.

    Thank you.

You need to create your menus to be on "Manual" rather than rely on the program to implement the menu automatically for you. Use the menu widget to create a menu, right click on the small blue arrow appear on the upper right corner, which opens a window. Select "Menu Type" and move it to the manual. This for both and you should be able to edit them independently.

With this configuration, you must manually bind each button of the menu itself to the corrosponding page using the fature of hyperlinks...

  • 2 different menus, using widgets and drop down

    Hello

I'm looking to create 2 different menus for my Web site.  the first will sit in the upper right corner and just be home. Contact | Brochures.  The second menu is more complicated, with 6 different positions, all of which have a drop down menu.  I understand using the manual option on the wdigets in order to create two menus.  How to add drop down menus well?  I don't see a way to do this.

I will be so grateful for any help at all.

    Thank you!

    Hello

Like you said you can create manual for both types, with manual menu menu, you can add the dropdown options with different menu items.

With the widget such as the accordion, the drop would be the container area.

Regarding manual menu, here is a good example that you can use and then bind items of menu to specific pages:

  • Adobe cloud has 2 different programs of Muse... How do I know that one is new better version?

So I'm new to Muse, and my Adobe cloud has 2 different programs of Muse... How do I know what is the best new version?

You must program (Muse CC 2014.2) has a black background when working on it... It looks like other programs such as Photoshop Adobe.

The other is color of light (Muse CC) very similar to the black color Muse on the functions...

One of the difference that I see it is that the color of the light Muse has a few widgets in the library, while the black Muse seems to have an empty library

Then... Why are there 2 different programs of Muse in my cloud of Adobe?

    Hello

The latest version of Muse is 2014.2, so you need to uninstall another version of Muse manually.

about library items, you can add items to your library manually, as described in this article

  • Problem with Menus in MUSE and Composition Widget

I seem to have some sort of problem in script when my site MUSE publishing.

I created a blank publication in MUSE to AutoPlay widget. It autoplays fine in preview mode, MUSE and in the preview in browser mode. But now that I published it online, it is not auto-jouer. In fact, even when manually click you on the slider it won't move the frames to the next. I have 8 put frameworks in place and the images are all published on my server in the pictures folder.

I create horizontal menus and the last two have submenus. They come down and discover very well when hovered on, in the two preview modes in MUSE just fine, and after I export my HTML and my browser shows the preview of the site before online publication, as does the cursor.

    But then...

I publish the html code in DreamWeaver and ftp to my server from there and the cursor of the composition and function of drop-down menus. I have published several other sites of the MUSE in this way so I consider that I don't know how to post them this way.

Here is a page that is published with the inactive elements on it:

    http://christianhomebusinessassociation.com/Tester.html

In preview of MUSE modes the first frame of the composition appears with a trigger of color yellow because the active state is set to yellow, and then it starts just to auto play from there. But not in my browsers when published. I tried several different browsers and on a Mac and PC, and it is not auto-jouer anywhere.

My settings in MUSE for composition are:

    Position: stacked

    See setting targets: bearing

    Hide targets: no

    Transition: discoloration

    Transition speed: 1.5

    AutoPlay: 4

    After: 3

    Play once: not clicked

    Others... not important.

I recreated these elements and re-uploaded the whole site from scratch again and again and cleared caches and cookies and refreshed, and I don't think it's my browsers that are the problem.

I checked my folders on the server and all the folders and their content is on my server that MUSE is published in HTML format. I noticed that there are no images little pre-loader download MUSE in my pictures folder. Not sure if the submenus drop down need those too? But that should not prevent the operation of the slide show manually in any case I think!

Regarding the scripts themselves, 11 scripts were exported from MUSE and I checked and 11 are on my server.

I also thought maybe it was a layers deliver. But this should not stop the cursor to go into action automatically, either on the layer above or not. That could make unclickable, but do not stop it working. If it was a matter of layers too, so you should not work properly in the preview in browser mode, which these two questions very well work in. And, my menu is on the top layer, so this does not explain it is a malfunction.

    Please notify.

    Thank you!

Well ~ I did a test and uploaded my site through Business Catalyst online then everything worked fine there. So, I ended up calling support MUSE.

Support suggestion was: rather than use DreamWeaver to upload my site via FTP, I use the option just download on my server using the ' Upload FTP host"under the"File"menu."

This fixed everything! All menus are going very well now, and my cursor to MUSE on my test page works too. Even if I have a current third-party cursor on my home page.

    http://christianhomebusinessassociation.com/

She said that it seemed for some reason any DW became not all files that it needed to make my site work properly. Then maybe a new bug? Who knows?

In any case, my site and all of its components work perfectly now ~ yay! Hope this helps someone else!

  • Borders of different color in Muse

Is it possible to have borders in Muse differs between them in Muse, example:

I am creating a menu in which I want to have a border of color SUPERIOR to appear for active, flipping and mouse down to the States and the white for the Normal State. It is quite easy to achieve, but I also want to have borders SIDE side gray to act as delimiters between my menu items.

    Is this possible in Muse?

The only solution I've managed so far is the SUPERIOR of the State border and then set the spacing on the menu and add a gray rectangle behind it.  This seems to be a bit a messy compromise but for sensitive scaling.

    Any suggestions would be welcome.

Make sure that the Menu item is the selected item (displayed on the far left of the options bar). Go to the fill Panel. Choose your color. You can change the width by using the setting of the horizontal gutter in the spacing Panel.

    I hope this helps.

  • slideshow with images of different sizes (Adobe Muse CC 2014)

    Hello world

Firstly it should be noted that I use Adobe Muse CC 2014

Is it possible to create a repeating slideshow (not full screen or Viewer), with images of different sizes, so that when the image is square or portrait or landscape, the image size will be changed automatically depending on the size of the image inside.

I know that in some widgets, one solution is to select each image and manually set the desired size of each image, but it is not easy when you have for example 50 images.

    Thank you

You would need to manually go to this, unfortunately we cannot do this without manual work.

    Thank you

  • Clicking on menus in Muse causes screen to flicker, does not allow access

Updated to 2014 Muse, running Windows 8.1

By clicking on the part of the menu text font, the screen flashes and does not allow me to change the font.

In addition, after you create a rectangle and you attempt to add a hyperlink, click the hyperlink box, causes the screen doesn't Flash and does not allow access to the text box.  A lot of similar problems and Muse is now unusable.  No other problems with far adobe products (Photoshop works very well)

The menus seem not to be the right size because I can't see all the text in their breast.  It's like they're waiting for my monitor at a higher resolution, (change the resolution does not help)

I tried to uninstall and reinstall.  I removed the previous version completely.  I rebooted several times.

    Help!  (Please)

    Thank you all.

    Derrick

Go to control panel of configuration and the value Display zoom 100% or 150%. The release of 2014 of Muse is not compatible with how Windows 8 and 8.1 reach 125% zoom.

  • Having a problem with the site of load on different devices in Muse

    http://hissign.com/screening

I set up a selection process for our candidates.  I created the desktop version because we want that they use desktop computers or laptops so we can use our Flash videos.  See the link above.

I also put in place on the Tablet and phone you got 'somehow' to this page, and you cannot use a tablet or a phone.  If you look at the above on a type of device, you should seek this advice.

On my large computer Alienware, I tried the above and it works fine in Chrome and IE.  So I sat with my laptop 15 inch Vaio and the strangest thing happened.  I loaded the link above in Internet Explorer and the page with Flash video came as it should.

Then, on my Vaio and Chrome open and loaded meanings and she came to the notice of the tablet.  See screen capture below:

    chrome.jpg

This happens of course not when I am interested in the foregoing on a 15-inch laptop.  The width of the desktop version is set at 960 and the phone and Tablet versions are set to the default values of the Muse.

Please advise on what is the question.

    Thank you - guys deaf

This provision was introduced by a Chrome Google update pushed last week.

  • I need to make changes to a Web site created by a different person with Muse

My aunt has created his site with Muse some time ago. It must make changes on his photos and asked me to help him.

Can I make changes to its Web site? I have all his FTP information, but can not see his site on Muse, after I downloaded it on my computer.

How to display the window 'manage' for its Web site in my computer?

    Hello

You can work on files .muse only in Muse. Download the file from the server hosting will get it in .html format and it will not work in Muse. Ask your aunt send you the .muse size version. You can then open it by using Muse on your computer.

  • Two different Menus on the same Page

I created a menu in my master page in the header section and another in the page footer section. I want the menu headers to show less number of links page saying 5 so that the page footer to display all pages.

I used the option "exclude page from menus" but it removes the page menu at the same time when I want to delete only in the header menu. How can I achieve that?

In the options for the widget:

  • How to create drop down menus in Muse with more than two tabs

The widget menu pullsown does only two tabs. How do you do this more than two tabs?

By default, the tabs in the menu widget are generated in Muse based on the site map, that you define in outline view. This is configurable based on the Menu type setting you choose in the options Menu If you wish, only, upper level pages subpages too or manual. So in order to add a third menu tab, you simply add a third upper level page.

I would like to know if it's not what you're looking for and what exactly you're trying to reach.
