  When you click the drop-down menus such as file or Tools menu flashes only and won't stay open long enough to make a selection.

  Try turning off hardware acceleration.

  • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

  If disable hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.

  Any menu or drop-down to open menu closes before I can click on options. Happens if I right click on the screen to see the menu, right-click on any applications programs in the start menu to see options, when I'm in a browser and click on a drop down menu, etc. They all disappear until I can get a good look at all the options, or click on one.

  To select the options of "Operating System" for that matter and "choose the jury...". ", I had to click the menu drop down and then quickly use my arrow down to begin paging through the options. It's the only way I could get the drop down menu to appear for more than a second or two.

  It is a laptop brand new I used only once or twice, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Have you tried to plug in an external mouse and see if it happens too?

  Have you tried to see if it occurs in Mode safe?

  Have you done the updates of Windows?

  Have you tried to use the HP Support Assistant?

  The best document I have for TouchPad problems is the use and troubleshooting of the TouchPad and ClickPad document. Go to mouse properties and "restore all defaults" then apply, and restart your laptop.

  Please ensure that all your updates are done also. I saw him in the past where it happened because an update does not pass.

• "Pulsed" windows and drop-down menus that disappears

  Have Windows 7 on a Toshiba.  Has been working fine for over a year.  There are a few days in a minute, it was fine and ten minutes later, he developed this problem.  Drop-down menus disappear after fractions of a second.  Sometimes, they stay a little longer.  The perimiter of impulse of open windows.  It's as if the screen is constantly refreshing and reset itself.   The poplets is a complex wither you must enable liquid markup and recode the poplets in your own format and use a jquery plugin Viewer OR coding your own.

  Drop-down menus if you want the drop-down submenus you just target with CSS to change them (noting the browser variations and limitations) - it's just HTML and CSS knowledge and without specific CB.

  If you want to do more and use jQuery plugins to change field there etc which really belongs to you.

  I'm trying to figure out how to change the formula of a derived field in the selection in an adjacent drop-down list.

  For a simple example, trying to find the total amount paid on a loan, would you go Total paid = capital + (main * Int * time). But you may pay more depending on if you pay a fee.

  So what I have works when I enter the formula in the field "Total paid", but trying to integrate the list drop-down for the fees (which is either "Yes" (value = 1) or "No" (value = 2)), I can't figure out how to add the tax, which is $ 50.

  In the drop-down menu, I like an output event:

  This is the way of simply to do.

  1 make the country select list (P49_COUNTRY) a select list with submit
  2. create a conditional branch that dates back to the 49 Page
  3 do the conditional branch of type PL/SQL Expression. In the expression 1 enter

  :REQUEST = 'P49_COUNTRY';
  

  4. in the value of these items , enter P49_CITY and let these values in white.

  So when the country is changed the page will be submitted, take over the management of the status of the page and in the process put the city at null.
