Differential of 10 ° C between core 3 and other core Q8200 to HP Pavilion Elite m9525f?

I bought a HP Pavilion Elite m9525f last weekend and noticed that this core 3 was running hot in comparison to the other three cores of the processor Q8200. It was according to program SIW that I downloaded on the internet. Core 3 still works more than the rest of about 10 degrees C. Is this normal? Readings were found with side panel of the case off the computer. Basic 3-51 and the closest possible other core (Core 0) at 41 C.

Is the CPU and case fan speeds set? They seem to stay at approximately 1080 RPM (program only used SpeedFan to read RPM) even when I have the Power Options program in Control Panel the value high performance.

Incidentally, I found the main video card bios setting to the PCI instead of PCIe x 16.

Thermal sensors can be "significantly" at low load.  Run the latest version of Prime95 to load all four cores and real time allows to check the base temperature.  Drivers should be ± 3 C.  The CPU is soldered to the heat-spreader, so there is not much you could do to equalize the delta T.  The lower range and E7xxx processors use plain thermal paste instead of welding of low temperature to improve the transfer of heat to the heat-spreader.

The processor fan should ramp upward after 1 min of Prime95.

  • Video card (and others) upgrades for a HP Pavilion Elite HPE-510 t

Hello... First of all, I just want to say that these forums have been an invaluable resource for me in my quest to upgrade my current PC. A lot of good answers and always at the top of the Google search results, you guys have been so super helpful. Without a doubt a very different experience from what I got when I bought my PC from a company that rhymes with 'hell '.

I have a few specific questions, however, and thought I'd throw them to let experts weigh... For the record, I have a HP Pavilion Elite HPE - 510 t with all parts except for the video card, which is currently an ATI over-pants v4800. I am running three monitors 20 "(1 DVI and Display Port 2 at present, but who can be flexible). Also, I don't a few moderate games (FPS, MMO) and watch a lot of Netflix...

    1. I'm certainly looking to update my video card, but I do not know what actually fits. I'm ready to upgrade the PSU as well (probably to the Corsair CX-600 recommended elsewhere on this forum), so power should not be a problem. And money is not a huge problem either, as long as the card is less than $500 or more. I've been watching some of the newer cards (like a 680 GTX or even the new 770), but I'm afraid that they will not physically fit in the case, or will be not compatible with the motherboard (which seems to be the PCIe 1.0? Or I read wrong?). So basically, my ultimate question is: what is the best possible graphics card given my case current and potentially put to level power supply, motherboard, I could use? If it's important, SLI is feasible but not more.

    2. I also intend to add additional RAM. The page on the card to my PC to the HP support Site says it takes DDR3 1600 PC3 10600, but everything that I find these days in the RAM is DDR 3 1600 PC3 12800. My mother/PC card will support the 12800 or do I have to keep hunting to find 10600 sticks?

    3. and finally, I'll also put in a Pro 840 Samsung SSD. Do you know if the motherboard compatible with the SATA connectors suitable for speeds of 6 GB? Just plug page says "SATA" and does not specify a version.

Any help you could give me on these questions would be greatly appreciated. This computer has served me well for a few years now, and I'm hoping to keep it for a few more years. Thanks in advance and have a nice day...

Here are the specifications of plant origin and configurable options for your desktop HP Pavilion Elite HPE - 510 t CTO and here are the specs of his card mother IPISB-CH (Cleveland). According to the specifications, the motherboard uses the Chipset Intel H67 Express that supports an extension v2.0 x 16 PCIe and 3Gbs SATAII (SATA2).

    (1) SLI is not "feasible", so no need to go there. GeForce GTX 680 cards are going to be long, perhaps too long. You need to measure the space available at the back of the case more further along the x 16 PCIe slot to determine what can be installed. You will need to resign it a notch or two... until you find one that matches. The CX600 Corsair is a great choice and fits, even if you can buy the place CX600M. The CX600M is modular and allows much better management of the cables and so the potential for a better air circulation.

    (2) with regard to memory, the State of the plug;

    Four DIMM DDR3 240-pin connectors
    Supports the PC3 10600 connectors DIMM DDR3 (1333 MHz)
    Memory non - ECC, unbuffered

Then, two sets of most of these (2 x 4 GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Desktop Memory Kits should do the trick. You can also go to the website Crucial.com and use two of their 'guaranteed compatible memory upgrade'.

    (3) your computer supports speeds SATAII (3Gbs) and this is the best it will do. However, the SATA connector is identical to what is found on a SSD SATAIII and it should be compatible with your computer.

  • Switching between the AV and other terrestrial channels

I have currently my Qosmio in my room connected to a box digital sky (free channels only) using the AV-IN jack. Now, my question is really about Windows media Center 2005. If I added an aerial socket, can I switch the av in and other channels?

    Thank you

    Hello David

I didn't try because I have at home only Sam receiver, but as much as I know Windows Media Center cannot change between two separate signal sources. The only thing you can try is to plug land into Sky box and loop by digital signal box.

Please try it and let us know if it works. It's very interesting question, and it may be useful for other users.

  • Is it safe to leave the cover of the keyboard between the keyboard and screen retina when I close the macbook?

Hi, I have a macbook pro 15 "retina.

I got the cover of the keyboard (not cheap but decent), and I use it everytime I open my macbook.

However, I heard that it would be dangerous to leave the keypad cover when you close the macbook. Because it could hurt the sensitive retina screen.

    Is this true?

Is it safe to leave the cover on my keyboard when I close the macbook? It's a little annoying move coverage of my keyboard everytime I have my macbook to opening / closing.

If it's dangerous, is there a cover keyboard without danger to the retina on the market?

    Thanks for the help!

I have used Moshi Clearguard kb current covers on two MacBook Pro, including retina mid-2014, I usually use closed with my Apple display 27 ". I put KB covers on as soon as I bought computers and have never deleted without fingers never touched my keys. I did it because I saw how dirty the kbs in the Apple Store, and the seller told me that once the black keys are oily, it is impossible to clean completely. I started with a silicone rubber cap. Three weeks later, I threw it in disgust and I bought a Moshi to replace.

Moshi rugs are much thinner and lighter than the silicone rubber ones more adapted, hold their shape better, stay clear longer and are much easier to clean and type through. In addition to the one on my computer Ko, I keep one on the external Apple wireless keyboard which is always exposed on my desk. These caches really keep particulate crud, and they do not interfere with my typing at all. When they are dirty, I rub it in the sink with a detergent and a brush to vegetables, and when possible discoloration becomes noticeable after three or four years, I replace it with new ones.

My previous MBP, a Core 2 Duo late 2008 unibody model, allows to get much hotter than my current on occasion, and I fear sometimes that heat buildup between the lowercase and the display closed would cook the KB cover or even the screen itself. But that never happened, but I guess it might have helped if any yellowing of the coverage.

If use you Moshi hiding for seven years, I would never consider a time using a silicone back cover. I did not, and you shouldn't worry about all to close your view on a Moshi.

    >
Yes - for the first table a full table scan will be used as the currently selected column is nullable and indexes do not include null values.

The index can be used for the second query, since all the data (first column) is available between the index and there may be no NULL values because of the primary key. If you check constraints, you find that the there is now a CHECK constraint to ensure that the first column cannot be null.

For a full and interesting discussion see the explanation of this and a related issue on the question I ask in this thread
What SYS tables (not seen) contain the value NULL spec /not/ column definition? and my response he posted: 23 April 2012 09:02

I ask the question is based on a question here which is similar to yours
Columns becoming nullable after a fall of primary key?

  • What is the difference between associative arrays and nested tables?

    Hello
What is the difference between associative arrays and nested tables?

nested tables cannot be indexed by other than pls_integer and unlike nested tables table associative cananot be declared at the schema level.

is there any other difference set apart from the diff above 2?

    user13710379 wrote:
What is the difference between associative arrays and nested tables?

Name-value pairs (associative) against a list of values (table standard/nested table).

nested tables cannot be indexed by other than pls_integer

They are not "indexed" the way in which an associative array is indexed. A standard table is referenced by the position of the cell in the table. This position is essentially the offset of the memory of the cell from the start address of the table.

Can not solve a cell in an associative array directly via a memory offset index. You place a cell reference value it by his 'name' (a search in the linked list/hash table).

The following example shows the difference between the pairs of name / value and a list of core values.

    SQL> declare
      2 --// associative arrays are NAME-VALUE pairs
      3          type TArr1 is table of varchar2(10) index by pls_integer;

  • Why my notes sync between my Mac and iPhone?

I have my MacBook Pro with Mac OS X 10.9.5 Mavericks and my iPhone is running iOS 10.0.1 and used to synchronize my notes! Is it because of the huge gap in operating systems? I SHOULD update my Mac to Mac OS 10.10 + for this problem? Thank you!

In order to synchronize Notes between your Mac and iPhone, you must configure iCloud > http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/

But this requires macOS Sierra 10.12, the latest available version and the last iOS available for your iPhone.

  • Explain the relationship between libraries, albums and photos in pictures.  Where are the images stored?

Looking for info on the relationship between libraries, albums and photos in the Photos app.  I can create several libraries containing photos and unique albums.  Can I put the same photo in libraries and the different albums?  By making a copy it creates a link to the original or a new photo?  Where are located the photo files?  When scanning photo to my Mac Pro files are placed in a folder structure, copy these photos in an album Photos using the original file or he places a copy in a database?

Bottomline, I'm frustrated by the method of collection, the albums, the place and date.  I want store related photos in a separate album.   Example: A library for a family, containing albums of members of their family. Maybe the photos have duplicate in different albums.

  • synchronization between the iphone and windows 7

Can I synchronize excel and word between iphone and windows 7?  How?  CAN I get excel and word or compatible programs (aps) on iphone?  Also - I have an old version of MS Outlook (2002, 10.6 V, SP3) I want to be able to sync with the calendar on the iphone.  What can I and how?

Also - I do not trust "the cloud."  How can I synchronize and transfer stuff between the iphone and my computer (win 7) without putting them on the cloud?

Don't have an iphone yet, this will be my first smart phone.  Being able to use the above programs and stay out of the cloud are my priorities.

    Thank you

Yes, you can sync if you store your documents in the cloud, but you do not trust so the answer is, you cannot them synchronize the.

Don't get an iPhone. I think the Android device is a better solution for you.

  • In preferences, search option is missing between the general and the content.

I use Firefox 40.0.3 on OSX and I tried to set the search parameters. When I go into Preferences, I don't see the search catgergory. If I remember correctly there used to be between the general and the content, but it just disappeared. I was wondering if there is a way to recover or if these options have been moved to another location in the new version.

I restarted Firefox in safe mode to disable all addons. It is not yet here.

You have disabled browser.search.showOneOffButtons [set this pref to false] in Subject: config?
Enter about: config in the URL bar and press ENTER. then use the search box at top.

Options > Search "tab" disappears when this pref is toggled to false. Search preferences back to the old system where the 'controls' are in the search bar - manage search... engines such as those used before Firefox 34.

  • Synchronization problem between iCloud, iPhone and iPad.

Good, if I want to sync my iPhone and iPad to iCloud, but I don't want that there is no synchronization BETWEEN devices. In other words, I don't want the notes and photos from my iPhone find you on my iPad and vice versa. How to make that happen?

The iPhone and the iPad should be connected to different Apple IDs to iCloud. If you turn on iCloud for both and they are saved in the same Apple ID and you select this option for sync or download content, they should be the same, or you will crush either. Separate IDs is the only answer.
