DIFFICULTY of misalignment FaceTime iPhone camera 6

I have the problem with my iPhone 6 64 GB misalignment FaceTime camera.

This misalignment begins almost since the beginning of the use of the iPhone, but it was so small from the beginning, that I do not pay attention on this problem.

I read that apple replace phones with this problem, but don't want to stay without [perfect for 2-3 weeks, because in my country (Latvia) No Apple don't Store and replace the phone have to wait 2-3 weeks.]

Now, I have the new iPhone 6 s 128 GB and I decided to solve this problem, but my warranty ends 3 months ago, and authorized service, I got a solution that I can replace entire phone to 350.00 Euros... I called Apple Support and got the answer that the authorized service can go to the Apple service and have the extended warranty, they did and the answer is NO, I can't do it, but they can replace the screen with camera for 150.00 euros.

I really disappointed in Apple, because I like it, I have a iPhone 1, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 5, iPhone 6 and now the iPhone 6 s, more I in. plug MacBook Pro 15 of the retina and 13 inch, MacBook Air and iPad, I spent a lot of money and now, Apple may not they solve own problem and ask me to pay more money for that.

I want that it will be replaced, even if the guarantee was end issues of button battery or sleep by the replacement program because it fault of Apple, but here I can't do and I have to pay more money for the phone what I buy for 700 + euros

a year older and my facetime camera disappear completely... and I need anyway will pay for the new screen

    Hello

To adjust the volume of the sound of the camera shutter:

    • Use the settings ringer and alerts:
      • On iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 more, go to: settings > sounds and haptic.
      • (Other models, go to settings > sounds).
    • Or turn mute off / on using the switch on the side of your iPhone's ring/silent.
      • (The mute function is disabled in some countries).
  • IPhone camera on the launch 7 - gel

The native iphone camera app 7 takes 5 to 20 seconds to launch.

    To reproduce the problem:

    (1) open the native camera application.

    (2) close the app native camera by pressing a button at home (important: do not remove the camera app from applications recently used in multitasking).

    (3) make 5 calls or more, each call 10 seconds or more. For example to call your voice mailbox to simulate a day calls.

    (4) after the calls, open the native camera of the lockscreen app.

The video below demonstrates the problem:

    https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=tnhVNhjxfcI

In this video, it's 5 seconds freeze on iphone 7 (seen at 01:42 from the video). The freezing of the camera is linked to the amount and duration of the calls, more appeals - more it takes to launch camera. The gel may go up to 20 seconds.

I encounter this problem on iphone 7 (ios 10.0.1) as well as on the iphone 6 s (from 8 IOS iOS 10).

I have to very good reason to believe, that all 7-6 s iphones are affected by this bug and it can be fixed by restarting, reset, DFU, replacement of new apple id or by phone: I tried to do all these steps several times with my iphone 6 s and it did not help. This issue can be resolved only by Apple developers.

Please submit this bug to Apple directly under the following link (as it seems that they do not react to our discussion forums): http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html

This thread is designated for iphone 7 and 7 more.

The same camera with the 6s iphone problems are discussed in the next big thread since October 2015: shift camera iphone 6s

The purpose of this thread is to share and spread over the issue, as well as make Apple notice and respond to the concerns of its users in correcting this bug.

I was part of the iPhone 6s camera gal as well original thread.  My new 7 256 GB iPhone did the same mentioned in your question/statement.  I also reported the bug with the link you provided.  This seems to happen only for the 6 s 6 s 7 and more.  I have restored my backup on a normal iPhone 6 and this problem did not repeat after over a month of use.

  • 5s iPhone camera problems

    Hello

My 5s iPhone camera does not seem to focus more. It is still used to work properly and there is not water damage or damage to my phone but it jut all stop suddenly focusing. No matter what picture I take now is fuzzy and its extremely irritating because the camera is a big reason, I have the phone. Is there a reason that this could happen? It might just not be the focus because I have tried auto focus and other things, but all my pictures are blurry just significantly. There are no scratches or anything on the lens of the camera because it can take clear pictures but if it's close enough as a foot or 2 later that it is not.

  • camera front 7 flicker HDR in FaceTime iPhone

Today I got my new iPhone 7. During a FaceTime call my video is constantly changing from light to dark. When I moved the focus of the camera (light of early evening) to bright light right behind me the HDR treatment is nog seem to know the correct brightness levels. This caused my camera of clear image flickering in dark. Not a very nice way to have a FaceTime conversation. Someone else has the same problems? Should this be fixed in a hotfix or the auto HDR mode can be turned off somehow?

Same problem here, but it flashes without moving... at all: the phone seems to be worse when there is a white background! In the meantime the entire screen flashes a light green for the Viewer.

  • FaceTime 'no camera available.

    Hello

My macbook pro is the retina, 13-inch, early 2015, OS X El Capitan 10.11.6. I have had this problem since I bought this laptop. But after using the recommended solutions, the FaceTime camera reworked. I usually use the FaceTime on my iPad, so did not know when the camera was turned off again. I upgraded from Yosemite, El Capitan, hoping that the problem will be solved, unfortunately, no luck at all. I already try sudo killall blah blah blah on Terminal and cmd + option + P + R, reboot the machine. Could someone please help? Thank you very much.

It is possible that your Factime camera is dislodged and has a faulty connection, so cannot be detected by OS X. It would be a hardware problem and I suggest you make an appointment to have checked out it. You can contact apple here. However, your SCM Mac may need to be reset, you can reset that using the instructions found here , as has been known to do the trick, as seen in this discussion.

  • Disable iPhone camera 5s (without use restrictions)

Hi all - can really use help here from all the geniuses out there. I work in the defense industry and am not allowed to bring a smartphone with a camera on it to work except if the device has been disabled. It is not possible to have the permit as it is easy to bypass restrictions. I know it has been possible with the iPhone software, but I was curious if Xcode is possible or if there is another option. The apple store near is more than an hour so I was hoping that someone had an idea. Thank you

There is no way to completely disable the device in the firmware.  And are you sure could still?  I have friends in the army, whose positions have the same restriction on cell phone cameras, and told them they could only bring in phones that do not completely have a design camera.  Anything with a camera was refused, period (probably because they don't want to go through the effort to really check that all phones with a camera are actually and permanently disabled).

  • the iPhone camera App is not memorize the recording mode

    Hello

I use the default photo from Apple on my iPhone App, especially because I can shoot while the iPhone is locked. No other applications can do that, not even using the Notification Center (other applications for registration as Strava can do it, but not to record video).

However, I noticed that most of the time (but), mode (video, panorama, photo,...) is not like it was before.

I turn almost only videos (idling, when outdoors). Whenever I start the camera application, either in the "sweep upward" screen (locked phone), or from the home screen in unlocking the phone, the camera always (or almost) default is still Photo. I have not found a way to default to the video.

When you have to take action, it is very annoying to have to fumble with the buttons until you can actually draw. Not to mention that the app is so slow that initialize in the meantime, you cannot drag on the video mode (until the camera is completely initialized); then you drag too and the video mode Miss... it's a mess...

However, sometimes, apparently when you start the camera after making a video, the unit starts in video mode... but you expect it to start in photo mode, you can already drag by anticipation and video mode Miss yet :-)

The behavior is not very consistent.

Unless there is something that the camera behave correctly, I think apple should seriously improve at least 3 things in the camera application:

    (1) in previous versions of iOS, the initialization of the camera was not otherwise slow. How about you do it as fast as it was before?

    (2) pass from still photo to video, then to move slow takes too long. The control must be more effective and faster. You should have a faster and more direct access to the different modes of recoding. How about a configurable "by scanning screen?

    (3) the camera app to set the frequency of default images for videos. What about settings for the default recording mode? (video, panoramic)

    Hi there redtomato,

I understand that the camera on your iPhone app will automatically in video mode you want. If I always had to take videos, I think it would be very convenient to open the camera in video mode application every time I opened it.

I tried what you said on my end, opening the camera my screen lock and video mode change application then blocking of my iPhone, and then repeat the same steps. Surprisingly, when I conducted my test of the camera to video mode application.

I'm quite uncertain that if if it is a small problem with iOS, or if it was something that apple designed specifically, or maybe I'm just having chance repeating the steps you mentioned. To help troubleshoot your device, I recommend you to make sure that you use the latest version of iOS if your device is up to date. Once you have done this, try to restart your iOS device and see if you're still having problems.

On reflection, maybe you can force the camera app to quit smoking? If this is the case, this could explain why you may need to manually change the camera in video mode application each time.

I think your suggestions are great ideas, and if you want too, you can submit your ideas to Apple directly here: http://www.apple.com/feedback/.

I love my iPhone and I like the camera on it and especially photography, so I can understand how you feel about the inconvenience, but I really hope the information I've provided help it it, otherwise, if all goes well it will be or is somehow.

    Continue to take great videos!

  • the fall of facetime iPhone audio connections

I use FaceTime audio every day when I go out on a walk. I have a plan of reliable data and at home, I have good WiFi. With a particular friend, our audio FaceTime calls are constantly being disconnected. Sometimes if you wait a minute, we get this back, and other times it takes remember. We have both an iPhone 6s more though, when I was at home WiFi, I went to my old iPhone 5 s to see if that makes a difference, and it didn't. I can be walking home with WiFi or with data and we dropped calls constantly lately. For the most part, it is usually at home with WiFi but I think it happened with his data being also. When I talk to other people using audio FaceTime, it usually works very well even if I knew some dropped with other calls, but not as often as with the only friend. I don't understand.

    Hi Linda,

Thanks for stopping by the communities Support from Apple! Looks like you have some connection problems with a friend more precisely using the function of audio calls from FaceTime on your 6s iPhone more. I'll be happy to provide additional troubleshooting options.

First, we're going to have, you and your friend (s) confirm that you have given cell phones enabled for the FaceTime app. To do this, go to settings > phone. Scroll down and find the FaceTime app in the section "use Cellular Data For". Make sure that the toggle switch is green.

From there, it would be beneficial reset the network settings on your device. This will not affect your personal data, but you have to reenter your passwords and Wi - Fi networks. To achieve this step, go to settings > general > reset > reset network settings. Once your device restarts, test FaceTime audio over Wi - Fi and cell to see if the problem persists.

As a last resort, you can create a backup of your iPhone and restore it back to factory settings. Who should install a new copy of iOS on your phone and help isolate potential software problems that could interfere with the audio FaceTime calls. Once you have tested your phone, you can restore the backup that you created. The following article contains information on how to accomplish the restoration:

Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings

    Have a fantastic day!
