  I can type about three characters maximum and then results focus, and I have to click with the mouse to the area of searching at the end.

  For example - I want to get "Img1.bak".

  I type 'I' "m" and then I'm whisked away and the 'g', I typed just takes me to the "great songs by Imogen Heap.txt" or what is the first result starting with g.

  I have to reselect the text box and add a letter or two at a time to get what I need. Very frustrating.

  I created a text input in my captivate lesson areas for the learner to write and think, but they are not part of a blade of Captivate Quiz. Is it possible to always report on inputs and that the learner writes in these boxes? My LMS is the key.

  I could report to Blackboard, see the entry on a BER, but not sure that this is the case for all LMS.

  Wondering if anyone has been able to create any specialized code to use an attribute field of e-commerce as a text input field?

  I have a clients who must capture the different fields of the customer on the great product view.  Unfortunately I have no more slots (yup - exhausted all 4 slots custom, unit type, product meta, etc) so I can use the idea of 'How to Set Up Instructions special box', that I need to put the < input > fields in support of content, as not all of these products have this entry required fields.

  Long story short, does anyone know how to use the {tag_attributes} of the ecommerce platform to create user, which will be fine input fields course, fill in the shopping cart as well?

  When I click the button, the text input validation lift and method of the button does not work.
  If I put immediate = true for the button, then the validation raises, but in this case also the button method doesn't work.

  the method must be called. Immediate = "true" on a circumvention of the JSF update model button so that for example submit and commit have no impact (just in case that's what you mean by method)

  Hi I am new to the Animate edge, and I worked on a project that requires text input. The code does not "recognize" the value entered in the input field. The action is quite straightforward, good answer (360) game label 02, wrong answer play label 03. Ideally, I'd like to allow three attempts.  I don't have a lot of experience in JavaScript, this piece of code are pieces that I put in place of tutorial and a little help.  Thank you and I appreciate all the help!

  Try to use the following syntax to get the value of the input text field.

  var rightAnswer = inputAnswer.val (); rather than access the .attr ('value')

  Have attached a simple example. Currently, it shows the correct/incorrect value in the console log.

  Hi, I have a text with a validation of user input, I have a group above that TEV thatžs and show or hide according to the click of a button, on both situations, hide or show, that the s of entry text below the flashing of the Group keep´s, I tried some shots, without a bit of luck.

  • Created two text input area. (does not work)

  • Created a clickbox. (does not work);

  • Change the tab order. (does not work);

  If I have an object on top of the TEB, it must be hidden until I hide the object that s a fact, right?

  

  I use a script to hide the visibility of the object, fixed through css.

  I am relatively new to Captivate 7.  I am doing a project which has a couple of slides with text input boxes (TEBs).  They are not marked nor part of the graduate quiz.  They are more like knowledge-check questions as we go through the course.  How to make sure that they are filled before moving on to the next slide?  Is it possible to go about this?  The other thing is exactly how a submit button for this work?  I did an overview of my project and the submit button doesn't seem to be something.  Help, please.

  There are other ways to do this methods involving chains, where you can first split the string on the '? q =", and then divide the second element of this result on the '&', then replace the first element of this second split with your text textfield and then sew the pieces back together as a single string.

  Is there an independent text input dialogue single platform available in the SDK, something in the same vein as AVAppOpenDialog? I try to avoid JavaScript app.response (): if it is fairly simple to use, the dialog box appears with ugly text "Warning: JavaScript Window" in the title and the appropriate dialog box.

• Problem with the help of new text Input componentin D11.5

  I have a text Input component (marked with symbol ab in the Toolbox), called him studNameTF.

  The user must write his name, and then click button to go to the next section.

  The button is check wethere the entry is empty or nott, if it is empty, then it sotps the user and alert the user to write the name in order to proceed.

  The problem is that I have fills with text name field and press the button. The button does not catch the content of ICTand stops the user even the field contains text.

  Here's my lingo script.

• Tab key does not work for text input areas in Captivate 3

  I'm building a software simulation of training where I am using text input boxes.  Some use the enter as a shortcut key, some use the tab key.  Those who use the keys work well, failure caption works by forced entry when you press Enter, it advances to the next screen.  Those who use the Tab key does not at all.  The legend of failure does not work and the Tab key does not advance to the next screen.  I compared to those that work and those that don't work and I see no difference.  I set the text entry box to pause at the end of the slide so that it should not be a problem here.  I even tried to have the action 'to success"to be continue rather than go to the next slide and use a click box using the Tab key as a shortcut to move to the next screen - nothing helps!  Is it possible that the Tab key could have been turned off somehow?  I'm totally at a loss, please help!
