Difficulty of Windows XP in VM Session or uninstall VM Fusion?

I'm REALLY new to MAC and VMWare Fusion so am capricious on how to solve the problem of Windows XP, I now get in the virtual machine session (file \windows\system32\config\system is missing or damaged. Attempt to repair using the Windows by using the original installation CD installation.). Since I don't seem to get how exactly my question is: should I try to (1) or (2)? ...

(1) 'fix' the windows operating system? If so, how? If I run the installer on the Windows CD on my MAC, how would he know to connect to the virtual machine session? I'm afraid to do so purely and simply for fear of installing Windows on my MAC os.

OR

(2) the VM uninstalling and reinstalling s/w. If this is the best approach, anything to be aware before I do it? I see an uninstall the s/w of vm disk and so that will work and wait all will be "deleted" so that I can properly install again. What is recommended, approach 1 or 2?

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!!

Hello! I found a problem with my system: when a user logs off Windows 7 x 64 session, the rest can not access the internet, until restarted network card. Reinstall NIC driver did not help. Problem appears on a built-in adapter, in the motherboard and a separate PCI card too.  Same router via its web interface is not accessible. Windows cannot automatically fix this problem after trying to diagnose a problem with his problem Diagnostic tool. After the diagnosis in the DETAILS window, MORE tests, it displays a message like this "computer remote can not receive a connection via the Internet (HTTP) Service Port". "Unplugging" a corresponding Local network connection and then reconnect solves the problem immediately. Switching between users, when two of them are connected do not cause this problem. Important: the problem occurs in the account of the user who was logged on the system FIRST after the PC was on, when the user disconnected on newspapers of a SECOND. If the SECOND user is logged in and the FIRST user disconnects, SECOND can still access the internet. It depends only on the sequence of the user's record, not on the particular user name. And one more interesting fact: after each user registered on and outside just for once, the problem seems to disappear until the PC is turned off and turn it back on!

    System details:

    Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-VLK
    CPU: Intel Core i7 3770 K
    RAM: 8 GB
    OS: Windows 7 x 64

    Hi, Mahesh,

and thank you very much for your help! Update firmware driver and router LAN did not help me get rid of my problem, but greatly improved my experience of networking in general. Anti-virus software was not guilty, also, but! I found the "iControl" network software, installed as part of Sogiciel 'AI Suite II' (that came on the CD of motherboard ASUS driverssoftware), runnning and causing not only the problem mentioned above, but would also decrease upload speed up to 0.3 MB/s, when download passes to nearly 100 Mbps! Moreover, searching the Internet, I have found a lot of complaints about the behavior of this software, so that people watch you the occasional installation of this piece... sweet ;) As "iControl network" has been uninstalled (not only turned off in the settings of 'Ai Suite II'!), I'm totally happy with my system performance.

    Best regards

You say that you have started from the XP CD, but something is wrong with that
you do. Just boot from the CD and follow the prompts for a

    Thank you!

Vignettes on the subject: newtab page are generated from the cache, so if the page is not in the cache or otherwise cannot be rendered as a PNG image, you will get an empty box.

Pages that sends a non-magasin or no.-cache header are not cached and therefore Firefox does not generate a thumbnail.

  • Difficulty of windows Explorer

I need a file uncdms.dll download fix windows Explorer

This file belongs to the Windows Desktop Search application. Reinstall Windows Desktop Search or, if you do not use (and it is a pretty horrible program that takes a lot of system resources), uninstall it from Add/Remove programs. If you have already uninstalled Windows Desktop Search, delete the boot entry.

Start > run > msconfig [Enter]

This will open the System Configuration utility. Look under the Startup tab and find the likely culprit. Uncheck the box next to its name, apply and OK out. You don't need to restart immediately, but next time you do, you will get a dialog box saying that you have used the utility. Just check the box that says in effect, "don't mind to this subject again".

  • Difficulty of window size when opened by clicking on the link in IE8

I am running Vista 32 bit with all updates and IE8 with all the updates.

When I click on a link on a web page with IE8, the window that opens is tiny. I then have to click maximize on this small window to make it larger.

How to make a window from a link of IE8 it is enlarged?

    Hi Arkayem,

    Please follow the steps below:

    1. open Internet Explorer 8, in your FIRST window and click a link that opens in a new window of a SECOND.

    2. close the FIRST window, leaving your window open.

    3. slide the SECOND window to what size you want. The key word there is DRAG.

    4. you can drag windows by placing the mouse cursor on the edges of the window, click button straight on and then dragging.

    5. now close the SECOND window.

6 reopen Internet Explorer 8 from a shortcut on your desktop or in the quick launch of the taskbar section and check by opening other links as well.

Your problem should be fixed now.

I hope this information is useful.

If it's important, how to fix it.

Thank you for any advise you can give.

    Hello

Winservices.exe is not part of Windows, its share of the virus.

I would make sure that the virus is really gone and then perform the cleaning included here:
(Don't count on 1 product to remove all pieces of a malware infection).

You can do it in Safe Mode - several times F8 tap that you start.

Download malwarebytes and scan with it, run MRT and add Prevx to be sure that he is gone. (If Rootkits run UnHackMe)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put it-right on - click RUN AS ADMIN

    Malwarebytes - free

Run the malware removal tool from Microsoft

Start - type in the search box-> find MRT top - right on - click RUN AS ADMIN.

You should get this tool and its updates via Windows updates - if necessary, you can download it here.

Download - SAVE - go to where you put it-right on - click RUN AS ADMIN
(Then run MRT as shown above.)

also install Prevx to be sure that it is all gone.

Download - SAVE - go to where you put it-right on - click RUN AS ADMIN

Prevx - Home - free - small, fast, exceptional CLOUD protection, working with other security programs. It comes
a scan only, VERY EFFICIENT, if it finds something to come back here or use Google to see how to remove.
