  I'm a newbee in labview. As part of my project work, I need to get 8 digital inputs and send 4 digital outputs.so I think to use the Parallel Port on the pc.i can make use of 8 datalines for entries. I found the site NOR is it possible to use status for output pins. But is it possible to use status for output pins pins and data for entries to the time.please help even me also mention of the measures to take, or keep in mind while implementing.also include any example vi that could be useful.

  I would recommed you to NOT use the parallel port. Now a day you have hardly a PC with parallel port. also if you have some old PC then most likely last version of LabVIEW (e.g. 2010) will need a lot more memory RAM and processor.

  If you want a solution very very low cost then I would recommend using an arduino to that effect. You can then download LabVIEW Interface for Arduino and start working.

  If you continue to use the parallel port, then you could try (I haven't worked with parallel port and have not tested the following solutions)

  Download VIPM and then install the enclosed package. It will add the port e/s palette in your labview. and you can use it.

  A week or two ago, the sensors of validity fingerprint reader on my HP Pavilion dv7 stopped working. I reinstalled the latest driver from HP support device, and everything worked fine for a day or two. Now the sensor still works, but Windows (7, home edition, SP1) gives me the message "year error occurred preventing the use of your fingerprint credentials." The only thing that has changed, I know, is the latest Windows updates.

• the use of a Tablet for perfect contours

  1. I need to create coloring pages, which contain the same thickness throughout the entire image lines and hoped to do this in Photoshop. Someone suggested the use of a graphics tablet for this. From my research there is no mention of which allows the same line thickness but it seems to be very sensitive to the applied pressure and the lines tend to thicken and thicken according to hand pressure. Can clarify you if my task can be accomplished using a graphics tablet?

  Yes - you can certainly use a graphics tablet and have a constant thickness. You will be able to adjust the settings of your brush using the brush Panel once your tablet is set up. (If you don't, go to the window > brush).

  You can turn off pen sensitivity by changing the dropdown list size jitter control to "Off".

  A precious button for you is that I've highlighted in blue below. By clicking on this button allows to disable using the pen with the size of the brush pressure - when it is off, the size of your race will be the size of the brush you selected.

  

  Personally, I create my linework by simple scanning of an image and "tracing" on a new top layer in Photoshop. Usually, I let fall to the bottom of the transparency of the original image to make it easier to see my features. I have a very basic tablet, cheap and I find this very easy method.

  I thought about it. It is not the browser itself. It happened that I had two pages that open when I started the browser (at home and at work) and it was one of them who had a Google map. They have had to fix their Web site.

  I'm working on a script about tiara for the treatment of the channels (involving Crash module). I saw a few scripts using *.vas and *.lst files to define variables and measures for different cases and all.
  I would like to understand more about the features of said make use in my scripts. I looked on the internet for explanations about the same but do not have something useful.

  In this case I recommend using two objects dictionary, TypeDict, and PriceDict, like I showed you above.  Or color you use the object than a dictionary and store and array values (type, price, etc.) with each name of the search.  Enumeration style variables "A" in the *.vas file have a static list of enumeration values and variables for enumeration of type 'G' in the file menu of *.vas their dynamic list of values from the file * .lst - which means that you would have to add rows at the end of the file list to add rows to the table of the above possibilities.  It would be faster and more easy to avoid the hard drive and use a dictionary object or two.

  If you're still not convinced, I can send you an example of creating a variable of type *.vas 'G '.

  I used the Windows Server 2008 Group Policy to create network drive mappings. This works for most, but on some accounts, it caused the computer folder is empty.
  For example, the folder of the computer used to have my C drive, my drive DVDROM, my USB and some network drives. Now his absolutely empty.
  If I click on start and type in C: it correctly to the my C drive and shows all records.
  If I put in a UNC path, it will correctly here.
  So the problem is that nothing is displayed in the folder on the computer.
  I tried to completely delete the user account from the C: drive and connect to the domain again, but it is always empty.

  Yes.

  Two ways: 1. use a tab control.

  2. use of property nodes (Visible property).

  The tab control is a bit easier on the block diagram, but if some controls should appear in many cases it is difficult to do.  Property nodes take more space on the diagram but allows you the versatility to do almost everything you want.

  2. which antivirus program is installed on your computer?
  3. don't you make changes to the computer before the show?

  The question seems to be as a program is blocked.
  I suggest you perform the clean boot and check if the problem persists. Clean boot helps eliminate conflicts of software that occur when you install a program or an update or when you run a program in Windows. You can also troubleshoot or determine what conflict is causing the problem by performing a clean boot.
