  Everything seems to work as it should, but the picture just does not open in PS CC (2014).  I am very new to PS everything subscriber to CC for photographers a month ago.  I have the last PS and LR (5.5).  Photoshop just open and that's all!  I know the image I selected in LR to open in LR.  I selected edit copy with changes in LR.  When I do the same edit with the same picture and ask for one of the perfect Photo Suite 8.5, the images opens as expected.  I don't know that I have a preference thing incorrectly.

  Yet once, thanks for the quick reply, but in searching the web I found someone responds that it looked like something that would go far with an uninstall and reinstallation of PS CC 2014.  I have done that and restarted my PC and back and forth works now.  I guess that the problem was caused when the new version has been added without the 2 previous versions being deleted.  When I have remeoved the 2 old versions, I hope that the link had a falling out.  Now everything is ok.

• Adobe AIR - creates disk image does not open

  Hi, I am trying to create a dmg file and does not open the image file. I work on a Mac and it's not the first time that I do this.

  The error message when I open the disk image is "Suite of disk image can not be opened" and the reason "not recognized".

  It's really weird, because it used to work and now for some reason any ceased. First I thought that it could be, because I compiled with the new SDK 4.0, but then I tested it with older SDK as 3.5, 3.8 and 3.9 and the problem persists. Old projects that worked fine also are no more building disk images.

  My system was 10.8 and I thought that the problem could disappear if I install the new Mavs, but after upgrading the problem is still there.

  Repair disk permissions and the file did not help also.

  Anyone has any idea what it could be? I'm really at the end of my knowledge.

  OK people, finally found the problem. I use FDT and for some reason, FDT stopped to add the indicator -target native when compiling a native installer. I think that certain day FDT introduced this bug.

  I just got a new hard drive for my laptop since the death of the former.

  The first thing I did was to install Adobe Digital Editions 2.0 because I read all the time. But now I can't open the program.

  1. exit the Adobe Digital Editions software.
  2. Navigate to / Users / / Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions and drag the activation.dat file to the trash.
     If you use 10.7, see library access hidden files. Mac OS 10.7 and later.
  3. Open Adobe Digital Editions and reauthorize.

  Windows:

  1. Open Adobe Digital Editions.
  2. Press Ctrl + Shift + D to Deauthorize Adobe Digital Editions.
  3. Select clear authorization.
  4. Click OK and exit the Adobe Digital Editions software.

  This is one of those little annoying things. I enjoy working the Samarai. available from djape Sudoku puzzles. Solutions for all the different puzzles are available on a single page: http://www.djape.net/sudoku/wp/index.php/solutions/

  For puzzles, I can right-click on the image of the puzzle, open in a new tab, and print it from there. But the solutions are different - they are png graphics that are a link to the solutions page. I can not just with the right button, because the image is a graph generic blank puzzle. The link takes me to a .png file, but I can choose only to open the chart with preview or save the file. I prefer to open in a new tab and print it to in Firefox, because the title of the page (and therefore the date of the puzzle) may appear on the printed copy and I know what goes with what puzzle!

  I searched Add-ons that could allow me to don't solve this problem - no luck. Firefox preferences only let me not choose between 7.6 QuickTime plugin or a snippet, and they both just open in the preview.

  Whenever a web page has just a png image as part of its page, which loads well (including the graphics on the Mozilla support site). Why does a different problem just because it is accessible by a link?

  Pictures open in my XP machine and view .jpg file name

  Copy photos with the outside to a WD 500 HD XP machine and they always correctly opens on the XP machine.

  Connected the WD external hard drive to my new WIN 7 laptop to change

  Laptop recognizes the WD external HD... but says there are no files on it.

  Default viewer changed to IRFANVIEW (which I use in the XP machine)... Still no files indicate hard disk

  Tried to copy the files to a DVD - R (I closed it) on the XP machine. Well open files on this machine.

  Tried to read the files of the DVD on the Win 7 machine. The files are not recognized.

  The old machine is a Dell Dimension 3100 with Win XP svc pack 3

  The new machine is a g7 - 1033CL laptop with Win 7 Home Premium... HP i3... 500GB HD... 4 GB OF RAM.

  These suggestions do not work in my situation. They require that a file/folder is accessible. In my case, none of the files/folders are recognized on my external hard drive or a DVD that these files have been copied from my XP machine. Win 7 'sees' the external HD/DVD, but indicates that there is nothing on them. So I can't run some suggested solutions.

  Any other ideas?

  PS... Win 7 going to open these files when they are sent by the XP machine via Email to myself.

• Purchase image does not open.

  It is being downloaded as an AI / EPS file. Other images I have purchased are download in jpeg format. Why is it one different image from the other?

  .AI is an Illustrator file or a vector. You don't need illustrator, but you will need program that can open them. Adobe Fireworks is another which should open the file. To read in PDF format, you will need to create a new PDF and import the image in it.

  I downloaded the Lightroom 4.4 disk image twice (to the default download folder), but doesn't open on my Mac to Snow Leopard. I get a message that it is "not recognized".

  I'm guessing a corrupted download. If you have the correct file and you have unpacked it should install without problem on Snow Leopard.

  Never seen this problem before and it seems to be no answer in the forum:

  DNG images will open at 8-bit in PS CS5 and 6.7 of the cab on our old iMac OS 10.10 on our even more recent than the one they open in 16 bits as they always have and should...

  I tried opening CS5 in 32-bit mode, stopping and restarting in 64-bit... without any result. Since there was a problem of disk a few months ago which has been fixed, I think that maybe I need to reload CS5 from the CD, I have...?

  I checked all preferences: CS5, bridge, ACR 6.7 and there is nothing that allows to select 8 or 16-bit except the usual method via the "Workflow Options" box when you click on the info of the image - in blue - at the bottom of the window of the cab or CS5 > Image > Mode > 8 or 16-bit... Of course I could do anyway, but there's a glitch here which is annoying when you don't know where to go next because it must be done for every image you open... !

  Could be, of course, such a simple solution, as usual...!

  Once done, launch Photoshop and click Help > about plug-in > Camera Raw.

  And check the version of Camera Raw, you see there, it should be the most recent.
