dimension size docment size resolution

Use the image on the Web site.

Really no idea with resolution, size of the Document, Dimension size and adjust the Image function.

Use the Web site, do not need to deal with the size of the Document, right?

Changes with the size of the resolution and the resolution, some time, the resolution is about 100 but the size dimension is very high about 2500 to 3000 pixels.

Change the size of the Dimension will change the resolution very very low in this case.

Image adjustment can fix the size shows Web site?

When you use Photoshop to do things resolution of issues. So when you add watermaks to siz different images, it can be difficult to manage the size.  You will see that in my example tattoo action.

On validation the front to create a mosaic, oracle says: "BAND DIMENSION SIZES NOT EVEN."

I can create a mosaic of them without error.

    On the use

  • Dimensions instead of effective resolution

In the menu of links to indesign: why the dimensions instead of effective resolution given for certain images?

It is not how it is saved - that's way is climbed fairy in the layout.

Use the white arrow to make a selection of the chart (see a thin Brown frame) then check the percentage of scaling in the control panel (top of the screen under file > Edit > menus available etc.)

  • File size/resolution

Help, please. I have a client who is very unhappy with the images that I gave him. One of her problems is that she doesn't think that I gave him a file high-resolution. For some reason any file will appear with larger dimensions, but only 72 dpi even if I saved it as 16 x 11 and 300 dpi. The size of the file itself is still great. Can someone help me solve this problem? Thank you! I'll include screen shots

That's how I saved the file

    Untitled-1.jpg

When it downloads and open file looks like this

    Untitled-2.jpg

What do you use to save the file? Is - this save for Web? See that it is not resample down and metadata should never be set to None.

It must be all, 300 DPI is the metadata of the print size. Take it out and save the default values resolution at 72 on.

I would like to know if that's what you use.

  • Reduce the size/resolution of the image but will then return to the former size when click ok

    Hello

    Hope this finds you well.

I'm trying to reduce the size of an image to get the height according to a specific size (360 px) because it's the height of the container it will sit on the web.

    I learned to:

    -go to image/image size

-Be sure to re - sample image is disabled

-change the units of the size of the document to points

    -Enter the new height

-then check out re - sample image

-Enter the final resolution to 72 (it was 183 front)

-Uncheck resample image and click ok

I followed these instructions and except for once (which I can't do redo) the image will return to its original size after the last step to uncheck image re-snack.

No idea as to what could happen and how can I solve it?

I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing back from you soon.

    Thank you!

You don't need to keep check / uncheck resample image.

Leave resample image checked and enter the size in pixels in the pixel Dimensions section. Enter the resolution box - which should be 72.

  • Canvas size / resolution

I am strongly considering make an iPad and ink and Slide, but the first curious on the resolution of the sketch.  Can define you it?  I know 'Draw' is vector based, but assuming that "Sketches" raster is based?  What I'm hoping to NOT hear, is that ' Sketch is just supposed to be a place to make sketches and work on ideas.  I know tile is 'Sketch' but I want it to be something I can create final images I can print and frame.   Possible?

From what I can tell, the canvas size is probably the resolution of the screen. My iPad Mini 2 retina has a screen size of 2048 x 1536

For iPad, you can create a 1024 x 768 single Folio that works on HD and SD iPads. Similarly, you can create a 480 x 320 single Folio that works on iPhone HD and SD (see creating a multi-rendu articles). We recommend that you create a rendering of 1136 x 640 extra that works on the iPhone 5 and 6 devices.

  • Dimension size when recording to DNG

    Hi all

    Beginner question :)

I am shooting in RAW, then convert to DNG and the size of my photos is 3872 x 2592 (I guess it's always the same)?

    Now, I need to have a dimension of x 3500px 3500px photo and a 3000px x 4600px. How do?

I guess that the resizing of the picture in the export of this size will decrease the quality?

    Help?

    Thank you in advance,

    Sandy

In this case, since you ask more pixels at least one dimension that has your original photo, you must follow a two-step process

    (1) crop for the desired image format (3500 x 3500 is the same as 1:1, and 4600 x 3000 is a custom report)

    (2) export the photo and select the right height and width in the part of resizing the Image of the export dialog box

Furthermore, this has nothing to do with the DNG format, it applies to any file format

  • Stage dimensions (size) in Flash CS4 (AS3)

    Hi again,

I need to know how to get my stage dimensions (x, y), BUT only the stage and not all the objects which could continue off the stage included.

    For example:

    My internship is 400 x 550.

I want to get 400 and 550 returned.

Thanks for any help and advice!

    You can use:

    var size: number = stage.stageWidth;

    var nH: number = stage.stageHeight;

  • How can I try to anticipate the user's screen size/resolution?

I would like to help with how to test my web pages to see what he might look like with smaller screens.
First off, the site is for an artist fine art then his most important audience will probably use much larger monitors, I guess they are but which is not based on empirical evidence.  But I still want to know that the site looks good on a small monitor with lower resolution.  I just watched my first attempt on my screen work and things have changed a lot.  At home, I use a 26 "what is new and at work, it's a cheapo 19"
My structure can contain up to but quite different white space and the size of the images and make the site look less uh... refined.
    So here are my questions.
one) can I set up my own pc to emulate small screens with low resolution without having to change the native resolution?
    (b) I am worrying needlessly?
    (c) is someone aware of a tutorial out there?
    Thank you

  • Screen size / resolution

The size of the screen for my Samsung S24D300 monitor used to work properly and integrate in 1920 x 1080, but now the screen is smaller, leaving a black extra area between the screen and the monitor. (To the highest size of screen 1920 x 1080) It may have started after an update.

    Hello

This may be due to several reasons.

See if there is a reset button auto on the monitor.

Microsoft gives sometimes you updates for the 3rd party hardware: graphics, network cards, etc.

You should only get the latest drivers for them to real hardware manufacturer's website, as Microsoft normally does nor those have the most recent drivers available as Microsoft relies of the 3rd party hardware Manufactuer to provide.

Reinstall the graphics, etc. Drivers from the manufacturer's website.

    See you soon.

  • Size/resolution for iPad screen 3

    Hello

I design a portfolio app. At the moment I am image previewed on an iPad 2 in the player content and all seems OK (text a but blurry but I hear it's normal) however I have configured items and generator of folio in iPad 3 primers as we will soon receive an Ipad 3 and will be broadcast on the new higher res iPad 3 with our work (we are a design agency). So, it is recommended for me to work at 2048 x 1536 @ 264 ppi for iPad versions 3, then when I designed and built my app, reduce the size of 1024 x 768 on 131ppi?

    Thanks in advance

    Steve Chapman

What iPad you are targeting your document must be configured at 1024 x 768. PDF format to avoid blurry text.

Select vector for overlays. Your portfolio should look very good on iPads at the beginning and later model.

  • Image size/resolution

I was wondering it it makes a difference if the images I use in Captivate are first optimized for Web use, or if I can use the raw screenshots I create.

    Thank you

    Robert

    Hi Robert

You should be able to use the raw screenshots. Insert into Captivate, it should offer the option to crop or resize. I think that Captivate converts from any format they are forwards to import it in PNG internally once the import is complete.

  • Captivate 8 - you can convert a project file with size 720 x 540 to a higher dimension?

A project was conducted using the size/resolution of 720 x 540. Is it possible to convert it into a higher dimension? For example, 720 x 540 to 960 x 720.

I did copy paste each slide on the new project which has the superior and all dimension then manually resize. Is there an easier way? As the parameter setting somewhere?

    Thank you!
