• Track text edits inserts a deletion in the first space when adding text

  This "feature" makes me crazy.

  When I add text with TTE enabled, if I place my cursor to the end of the last word before where I start to add the text, FM inserts a deletion in the first space.

  If I place my cursor at the beginning of the last word before I before I start to add the text, everything works fine. Here is an example of what I mean. In the first sentence, I started with my cursor behind the 'the In the third sentence, I started with my cursor in front of the 'before '.

  

  This error seems to be specific to the document. I tested in a new document (New > Portrait), and this problem does not occur. Does anyone know how to disable this feature?

  Hi Karen,.

  The reason for the deletion is as follows. Format | Document | Text options, you have smart spaces enabled.

  When you insert the cursor above a space and type another space FrameMaker removes this space as only a single space is planned.

  But FrameMaker cannot insert a new space, because there is already one there. Track Text Edit only apply conditions. The text is still there.

  Try smart spaces. Then, everything should be good.

  But if you want to keep smart spaces, then you must accept that behavior and still start typing after a space.

• I installed again by returning to the first CS6, but once again loads and a new project is created, it blocks (outputs) until I can do anything.

  I followed the procedure described on the first CC, installation first CS6 uninstall Web site, leaving still installed and reinstall CC first uninstall. I also installed the menu presets as described on another page of the website.

  Yet of the charges and I'm trying to create a new project by specifying the path and to project name. Until I can do something more, yet ends with a windows dialog on "Due to a problem must exit the program.

  I noticed that some of the text boxes were filled with the values corresponding to old projects so still contains the old configuration information from somewhere.

  I think you can continued to have problems if you can not uninstall/clean/reinstall.

  If the preferences reset help, create a DVD, Blu - Ray not, for your first tests. Also, have no disc in your burner.

  I did some work with Photoshop Elements 8, and have recently started working with the first Elements 8.  Recognizing the amount of video space again I'll install a second hard drive (WD Caviar Black 1 TB) in my XPS 8300.

  Based on all the posts I've read, my plan is to keep my operating system and all programs on the C drive, as well as all my digital images (75 GB worth) (since I had problems in the past in pictures and then find unconnected files in elements). On the HD D (new WD), which I intend to have my paging file, backup files, Quicken and all my video assets as well as the Prime Minister "scratch disks".

  Question 1.  Is there something wrong with this plan?  If so, how can I improve it?

  I finished a few video projects already, which means that I am done editing and burned DVDs and don't plan any subsequent change to DVD projects. Since the DVDs are the result of a completed project, I want to free more disk space by removing a number of files that were generated during the editing process.  For example, in the Adobe Premier elements Auto-Save folder, I have 2.3 GB of files with names like holidays - vacation - 5.prel through 1.prel.  In addition, holiday has a .log file.  I have about 5 sets of files like this, one for each of the projects that I have completed.   

  In this same automatic backup folder, there are additional folders, one called holiday-5. PREV which has 50 files it contains. There are also folders named files encoded and layouts.  It is the same for all completed projects.
  

  Question 2. Can I safely delete all files/folders on the projects I've done with?  Not the active material original, of course, because I want that reuse for another project.

  The best way to move your projects and their multimedia clips from your C drive to a second drive is to use the archive in Premiere Elements project tool. This will move all the files but manage links to project files.

  If youv'e ' saved e each new project, in its own separate folder, as I recommend in my books, by removing old projects of your player is child's play. Just delete the folder of the project, and who removes the project, media, scratch your files, rendering files, etc. in a single blow.

  If you have not saved each projectin itw own record separated, you will need to do some hunting and compensation manual.

  As for save your projects finished in the form of DVD files and then removing the source files - that will work, as long as you do not plan to re - edit the project in the future.

  I keep all my final DVD VIDEO_TS folders on my backup drive, in the cases where I need to burn a new copy. But, if I ever need to re - edit the project - and I want to keep the high - quality I'll have to go back to soundtracks and good enough to start from scratch.

  I tried to understand this for a long time now and it's really at the point where I tried everything.  I try to install the demo of the CS6 first, with the hope of then purchasing a license... but I wanted to get installed it and try first.  However, I can not even installed. (You mind, already I have 5.5 installed.)

  Whenever I try to install the Prime Minister, still works fine, but the Prime Minister fails.  I get the following error:

  Oh my God, I just thought to it.  It had to do with the fact that there is version 5.5 of Adobe Media Encoder installed. I removed that and it worked.

  I am a member of the CC and today I realized that still is not included in the applications. After discussing with a couple of employees of Adobe, I was told that if I uninstall first Pro CC and the cloud App, I would then give the option to install the first CS6 version which includes still. I was told that if I clicked on the icon of the first, I would have to choose between CC and CS6. I followed their instructions but cannot download from the site - nothing happens at all - and the Cloud app gives me the option to download first Pro CC.

  Please can help you, I spent almost all day on this...

  No need to uninstall first CC. Just download Premiere Pro CS6, and you will get more CS6.

  I found two bugs in the 6.0.5 update for Premiere CS6

  1. bad display of the total duration of an element in the preview monitor

  If you define an in - out point in the control screen the time between the in - and outpoint is not always displayed correctly. You can increase the error when you set an in - and exit point, then move area of the chronology of the Preview monitor. Tit total of the element is displayed and not the time between in and out.

  2 Preview must be already made when using the sequences nested .

  Take nested sequences, where one of the sequences comes another project et return le Overview (red bars in the timeline turns green), save project and close. Now the project is open again, the bars are red again. But only in the sequence, the sequence has been included from another project.

  In the first CS6 6.0.3 all works very well. Anyone can reproduce this error?

• I accidentally uninstalled first CS6/Encore CS6 and CC manager says it is always installed

  I'm on a PC running Windows 7. I wanted to install still just, CS6 and install CS6 first to do this (WHY?).

  Anyway, I was going to uninstall CS6 first because I first CC, and accidentally, I checked again and first CS6 when the uninstall program is right. CC Manager said that Premiere CS6 is always installed when it is not. I have to install again for a project immediately.

  Bhorv67 first please try to quit smoking and the reopening of the desktop application cloud creative to force a refresh.  If the first CS6 is still listed as being installed then please see that Creative Cloud AAM lists the Applications as "up-to-date" in the no facility not - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/aam-lists-removed-apps-date.html for additional solutions to the difficulties that you are facing currently.

  I am putting together a wedding video and updated all my apps including first CC and uninstalled again, thinking it was a CC version. Well, I need to burn this video on a DVD with a cool menu and had already created in yet but can not use it because it is installed. I saw in another message of the forum you must re-download the family first CS6, but when I signed in my ID to CreativeCloud.com, found the first CS6 then selected Adobe download Adobe Premiere Pro CS6, opening the old Creative Cloud Download Manager, but first CS6 never appeared.

  I thought it was because I still had first CS6 installed, so I uninstalled, thinking that it works now. I rebooted my Macbook Pro and when I choose the download, it always opens the Download Manager and first CS6 never happens. How can I get first CS6 back on my computer. I need to finish this video and I'm on a deadline.

• PC/first CS6 for Mac/FCP

  I have images for my Publisher. My preliminary changes will be in the first (CS6) and I'm working on a PC. It will work on a Mac with Final Cut Pro.

  Is there some file formats or things I could do to ensure a seamless transfer? I was counting on the export of an AVI file. I would like to be the highest quality possible. I don't want any drama of codec.

  I have never seen a 'transparent' transfer, but here's what I did.

  Export your project plans as a Final Cut Pro .xml and cross your fingers.

  According to what is in your project, all will not result.

  AVID DNxHD is a good cross-platform quicktime codec...

  size of the file not officially 'lossless', but good quality and reasonable.
