• Oberon Media games does not work

  I have 2 games Oberon Media, that run is no longer. Despite having been advised to do various things by Oberon, I always get the message "launch exe - unidentified publisher wants to access your computer". When I allow it and click the 'Play now' games I get the message "..." game has stopped working - Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. I tried to restore files from quarantine / blocked everything that mentions the name game, but again without success. I uninstalled and reinstalled at least 3 times and still the same. I have Windows Vista Home Premium, Service Pack 2, 2.40 Ghz RAM, 159 GB free on the hard drive. I have Comodo (free version) Antivirus, firewall and Registry Cleaner installed (Windows Firewall disabled), Windows Defender runs as well, and I have Malwarebytes' Anti Malware that I run on a regular basis.   Have you tried to run the application as an administrator?  Try, right click on the launcher and choosing "Run as Administrator" and see if that helps.  Also, if this does not work, you can click with the right button on the Launcher, click Properties, click the Compatibility tab and tell him to try to run the game in Windows XP SP2 mode.  See if it works for you.

  D3d8.dll error message could apply to any program that uses Microsoft DirectX, most video games.  I suggest following the steps below to solve the problem.

  1 restart your computer if you have not yet.

  D3d8.dll error could be a stroke of luck and a simple restart could clear up completely.

  2. install the latest version of Microsoft DirectX.  Chances are, the upgrade to the latest version of DirectX will fix the d3d8.dll not found error.

  Note: Microsoft frequently publishes updates of DirectX without updating the version number or letter, so don't forget to install the latest version even if your version is technically identical.

  Note: The latest version of DirectX should be installed no matter if you are running Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP.  Installation can include DirectX9 and DirectX10 files but they run side-by-side without problem on all these operating systems.

  3. assuming that the latest version of Microsoft DirectX does not correct the error of d3d8.dll you receive, search for an installer of DirectX on your game or application CD or DVD.  Usually, if a game or other program uses DirectX, software developers includes a copy of DirectX on the installation disc.

  Sometimes, but not often, the DirectX version, included on the disc is a better fit for the program than the last version available online.

  4 uninstall the game or software program and then reinstall it again.  Something could have happened to the files in the program work with d3d8.dll and a reinstall might do the trick.

  5. restore the file d3d8.dll since the latest DirectX software package.  If the troubleshooting steps above have not worked to resolve your error d3d8.dll, try to extract the d3d8.dll individually from the downloadable package of DirectX.

  I have the game Resident Evil 4 that has an operating system that is supported for Windows 2000XP (only). It installed but still does not work even when I tell Windows to run in older XP mode. I get an error message that "d3dx9_30.dll" file is missing.

  Some games play on this laptop, UN-fun wildtangent excepthe and hpgames of himself. I played games on my desk with the lower Setup and they work better. But this pc doesn't even start the game even with this good config. is it not useless. I know that is not a cell phone game but God, his is not even how much I paid for this thing.

  Prince of Persia 2 Thrones just may not be compatible.

  I recommend that you choose a laptop with specs higher next time, which should relieve your frustration. Your laptop current is fine for basic computing, but was not designed for many games.

  It is a problem, that I actually had for a while, but it never really touched a large part that I thought it was important. Now it is just boring.

  In fact, some video players and games online does not work. Most video players outside of YouTube will not work. The player will load, but the video never does. For example, the last video with that I got in trouble is the video player of Nickelodeon for the legend of Korra. When I try to watch that, I get a black box and an image of type "Loading" appears, swirls around once and then disappears. After that, it becomes unresponsive. This is typical of many, but not all, video players, I met on the web.

  I don't know if it's related, but I also had problems with various games. Often times, they work very well until at some point, as the end of a level, transition and then they will become numb. A good example here is the game Bloons Tower Defense 4. It is a game that I know was on my old system. But now, when it loads the level, it freezes before loading the tours available to place and reacts differently. An example is shown below. The box top-left question mark in the right sidebar should reveal a dart monkey and my money of departure must be filled, but instead, the game crashes to the top. I had similar blockages on a number of games, so I am sure that the problem is not just with this game.

  

  As I said, I had this problem for awhile now. I have updated Flash and my browsers several times since they started. I have these problems in all my browsers (Safari, Opera, Camino, Firefox), there seems to be a problem with Flash.   These errors make me think that Flash has problems to write to the folder were Flash cookies are stored (LSO, sharedobject).  On Mac, it's

  • ~\Library\Preferences\Macromedia\Flash flash
  • ~\Library\Caches\Adobe\Flash flash

  You can check the permissions for these folders?  You might want to run check the permissions on your disk (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1452), and then delete the ~\Library\Preferences\Macromedia folder and the folder of player of ~ \Library\Caches\Adobe\Flash.

I've been to Blizzard games, and they said that can not help me and I have to go to the manufacturer of the video card. I went to them and they said because it was a laptop they cannot help me with this and told me to goto, the manufacturer of my laptop that I do at the moment, but if someone had this problem and have any ideas how I can get this race please tell me thanks.

  This game was designed for Windows 95. Of many old games do not work under NT (on XP and Vista) kernel unless you use the emulation such as DOSBox.

  You can try setting the game to run in Windows 98 compatibility mode (click with the right button on the games EXE file, select Properties-> Compatibility tab).

  Otherwise, you will need to install Win95/98 and possibly to use a video card more old since display drivers change so rapidly and drop the old features not more used.

  But if I run a game that is not in the same as the computer screen resulution is a square in the middle of the screen and it is two big black lines down on each side. It does not put the game in full screen. The games in the same resulution works very well.

  Have you tried to update the display driver? Maybe you have an older version that is not fully compatible with Windows 7. Just check the Web from Toshiba site to get the latest version:
  http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

  Normally for mode full screen in games you choose the native screen resolution of your screen there.
  Check this box!

  http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=8109 to download. You should also find that the required files on the CD-ROM to install the game in a folder that is supposed to be called DirectX. I think you should have jumped the DirectX installation whenever you installed a game.

  The Direct3D is designed by Microsoft to hardware 3D acceleration on the Windows platform. OpenGL is an open standard and is not available in all the graphics drivers!
