  • Disable Aero for Windows 7 - How can I activate this new?

I bought a new HP Envy 15, which has Windows 7 installed in it.  Aero is enabled.  A few days later, Aero was disabled in some way and I can't turn it on again.  I used the problems in Windows 7 Aero Troubleshooter - it is said that everything is fine.  I also tried disabling and checking the various options in the menu of Visual effects.

Can someone help me please?  I don't know when or how Aero has been disabled; the computer has crashed and deleted once, and I had to reboot.  I don't know if that disabled Aero.

    Thank you.

In fact, I just found another thread on the site of HP ( http://www.thenextbench.com/t5/HP-Envy-Notebooks/seems-that-all-my-Envy-15-problems-are-not-unique/m-p/50174 ), who reveals that the Aero on the Envy 15 problems are a common situation.

The proposed solution is uninstalling from stardock.

  • InDesign CC 2015 disables Aero in Windows at startup

    Hello

I have the following problem, and it's really bothering me and pointing out my workflow.

I use two screens. One of them is a 4 k, the other full HD monitor. In the windows appearance settings, I use a custom dpi of 185% of textsize setting.

As soon as I start indesign with the "scalable user interface" acticated windows an error one disables the aero effect. When moving Explorer windows from one screen to the other, I want to work with windows 95 all the time time the windows aero theme disabled.

Now, if I disable the UI scaling in indesign it works. But you can not work in indesign without scaling the UI on a 4 k monitor. Everything is way to small.

If I just set the textsize dpi 100%, it works too. So I work in indesign, but the text of windows and icons are super small. Not good either.

My system is running a core i7 6700 k with 32 GB of RAM and a Geforce GTX 980 Ti... Windows should never tell me that it doesn't have enough resources.

    Help, please!

    Kind regards

  • How to disable aero peak in Vista?

Hi, I'm running vista on an old computer I (cannot afford the ridiculous price to put Windows 7 on my old systems) and I am trying to disable Aero Peak and I'm unable to find any documentation on how its done. I hope that someone here would be able to give me instructions (to a 6 year old child can understand it please) about how this is possible. Thanks for your help and looking forward to a response.

Technically, Vista has not "Aero Peek".  Glance itself, it's what has been added to Windows 7, where you can view full screen (at a glance) without changing entirely.

Instead, Vista has the taskbar thumbnails, and I guess that's what you're talking about really.

Fortunately, these are easy to change.  Simply right-click in your taskbar, go to properties and uncheck this box.

  • Cannot run the system error PrintMaster 2012 PlatinumBasic has been replaced by Windows Vista Aero in Windows Vista Basic.

    Original title: PrintMaster 2012 PlatinumBasic

After you install the above program, I am not able to open it. I get a message saying that the color scheme has been changed from Windows Vista Aero to Windows Vista Basic. However, the program is still not open. Any ideas on what I should do?

    Hello

    1. is the issue limited to the program Print Master 2012 base Platinum?

If you receive a message that some Visual elements, such as transparency, have been turned off or if you receive a message that the color scheme has been changed to Windows Vista Basic, one of the following might have happened:

    ·         A program that you are using is not compatible with the Windows Aero color scheme. When you run a program that is not compatible with the Windows Aero color scheme, some Visual elements are automatically disabled. When the program is not is more running, the Visual elements that have been disabled will then automatically lit.

    ·         Your computer does not have to have enough memory to run all of the programs that you have open and also run the Windows Aero color scheme. Try closing some windows or changing your color scheme to Windows Vista Basic. If Windows automatically changed your game of colors in Windows Vista Basic, and you want to change it back to Windows Aero after closing some windows, follow these steps.

    See the link below:

Why are some Visual elements will automatically turn off?

  • Is there a way to disable automatically minimize windows.

OT: WIndows open the screen management?

In Windows 7, when moving windows around, open window minimizes them automatically. Is there a way to disable this option?

Is the window you move minimizing all of a sudden, or is it all the other windows on the desktop?

If its all others, this sounds like "Aero Shake" - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/products/features/shake

If it is "Aero Shake" then see if that helps - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/74845-aero-shake-enable-disable.html if you have Group Policy Editor and use the Reg files, back up your PC first, or at least set a restore point and backup of your registry. OR see http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-7/disable-aero-shake-in-windows-7/ for an alternative.

However, it is probably a safer method that seems to work -http://www.guidingtech.com/5548/quicklu-disable-aero-snap-shake-windows-7/ so its probably worth a try first of all see if it does what you want.

  • Need to disable Aero mode safe

I just installed Windows 7 on my laptop and installed the drivers and programs. Everything seems to work fine, but I just activated Aero in the settings of Persoanlization and the screen went black. Could pass my mouse, but nothing else. So I restarted in safe mode and tried to disable Aero (it is not so important to me) - but there is no option to change the settings for customization in safe mode. How do I disable Aero in safe mode, so I can use my PC?

To make clear, what happens when I turn on my computer is:
    -BIOS
    -Load Windows
    -I see my logon screen
-J' I have to type my password here, but Windows saves.
    -The Windows startup sound plays.
-Black screen. Nothing else happens. If I started in safe mode so that I can see my office as usual.

However, when I start it up, I CAN connect to the computer over the network, so it's certainly and working and connected to the internet, I simply can't use it.

Nevermind, I fixed it. Entered in safe mode, uninstalled the graphics drivers and Windows starts using the default drivers, thus automatically disabled Aero, solve my problem. Yay :D

    Try the following.

Download and reinstall the Chipset driver at the following link.
