  Hi all
  I check in a new content item and then add attach file for her. Content display info and I saw the file attach with the first revision of the content item = > is OK.
  After that, I check out this content and check-in with the content of the new file. See new content info and I can't see the attach file before with the second revision of this content item = > it's not OK
  
  Example: If a content item is a workflow:
  User has created of the content item = > check in = > add file attack F = > approve = > review user B = > OK with file attached but not OK with the content of the content item = > Check out = > new arrivals replaced old content = > new content available without attach file F.

  I want to use the check-out and open in a native functionality to edit word files and create their versions directly from the system, but it seems that this funcyionality is not working.
  
  If ii click on check out and open the action menu, info doc page nothing happens. No newspaper... nothing.
  
  Anyone know what could be the problem?

  You SAY client installed on the machine where it is tested on. Otherwise download the client TELL to UCM - My Content Server - my downloads and install it. Then the same test, and see if it works.

• Check-in and check out problem

  I use Dreamweaver MX 2004 on a Mac to produce a Web site and a client is using Contribute 3 on a PC to keep the content of the pages. My dreamweavver is set to 'Enable the file check in and check out' and 'extract the files to the opening. It seems to work ok and it wouldn't let me update the pages based on a template until I had checked all these pages. However, a member of the staff to Contribute help has made some changes to 5 pages on the site that have been lost since I updated the pages based on the template. did someone met before? How could he have not downloaded the pages in their update from the model, although I saw him through the process of checking on the files? One of the files could not yet be verified because it is checked out by another user and so I left this file later. Any ideas would be very appreciated.

  * having the customer top-synch all files
  * down-synch your local site
  make changes to the model and let them spread
  * top-synch
  * to inform customers that it's safe to work again on the site

• How can I turn off the check-in / check-out in CS6?

  I'm unable to remove the check mark failed features for HTML documents associated with a site that has already helped Contribute users access to the same documents. The download or the 'Upgrade' button shows a progress bar that moves slowly through a series of guests who say that the file is currently checked, collection of information on the design, etc.

  I read articles to support that say to remove the. LCK files from the remote server, what I've done, but the process remains the same. I also disabled the option activate contribute accessibility checkbox and bring together the design notes box under the advanced settings configuration window.

  Can anyone help me out in addition Contribute settings or access your room / check the parameters that have been previously activated?

• How can I turn off the check-in / check-out in Dreamweaver CS6.1?

  Previously I had this site put in place for the use of Contribute for CMS, I have since then flies over to a database system CMS since Adobe pulled Contribute. I unchecked the box "enable Contribute compatibility. But when I go to edit a file it prompts me again if I want to overwrite my local copy of the file. I can not find anywhere were I cannot disable check-in / check-out.

  It is in the definition of the server.

  1. Select the servers in the Site Setup dialog box and highlight the remote server.
  2. Click the icon to change existing server (it looks like a pencil).
  3. Select the Advanced tab and uncheck enable file check.

• How to turn off Check Out content?

  In some way, I turned on 'Check Out content' in InDesign CS3 v.5 (Windows). But I can't find out how to activate OFF. I'm the only user of this installation of InDesign, and so there is no need to check the input/output any content.
  

  How can I disable this function?

  Somehow you export content of frame of text on linked InCopy files.

  If you remove the link them, then they'll be normal text blocks that don't require checking in or out.

  To remove the link, select all the InCopy files in the links Panel (they will end with extension BCTI or .incx or resources) and choose break link (or Embed) in the links Panel menu.

• Problems with Check In / Check Out a site for displaced

  We are moving our website to a new server and have to keep the old man until the news is ready.
  Part of the process is tweaking a few things so that the new site will run on IIS instead of Apache, which means that I had to create a new local directory, all web pages copy to the new directory and put up a new site definition.
  
  The problem is that check-in / check-out has been activated on the old site definition.
  I activated in the new site definition and put the same name and e-mail address, but whenever I save a file that I worked, it says that the file is checked out to someone else (but shows my name and email), and the check in button is grayed out.
  
  I tried all sorts of things to try to disable completely the check-in and get rid of the problem in this way, but not luck.

  This isn't an SSL connection.
  The web server is connected to our network by using a VPN, so I move the files using LAN, not FTP.

  It seems that I could have found the solution to this, in case anyone has the same problem:
  I put the site in the remote view and Check-in / Check-out just illuminated.
  Then I checked the entire site, restarted dreamweaver, and it seems to work as it is supposed to... Weird

  I've recently implemented a few new sites in Dreamweaver CC 2015, using some of the same issues with old sites discover the features used.  Well that Enable Check-out is not activated/checked in the tab advanced for these new sites, the lock icon is still on the local folder and opening files, I invited them as read-only, I want to make it writable.  Sometimes I have a dialog box that indicates that "personA", which is to me, the extracted file.  How can I remove features of extraction of these new sites?  Furthermore, I am sure that this started after the upgrade to Dreamweaver CC.

  It works:

  attrib -r c:\folder\*.* /s 
  

  attribis the command
  -r isthe flag to remove the read-only attributes
  c:\folder\*.*is the folder that you run it on more wildcards for all files
  /sis the flag to all subdirectories and files

  It does nothing hidden or system files, if maybe that's a problem.
