Disable "on the keyboard of the screen" _

Cannot be deactivated "on the keyboard of the screen. already removed tick in the ease of access

I'm sorry to learn the system restore does not work - I think that could be repaired for you if it's a software problem.  It looks like a hardware problem, but we will exclude software problems before you spend money get the diagnosis and, if necessary, repaired equipment (unless your system is still under warranty with Dell, in which case I would start a disturbance immediately - they may be able to help on the phone and if not they will guide you through the process of getting a technician to check the system).

Maybe something happened to the drivers for your keyboard.  Go to the Dell Support site and enter your product key.  Who should provide information on your specific laptop.  Then look for the keyboard drivers for your system and your version of Vista and download and install.  Once you have the drivers, you can install them via the Manager device as follows: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-device-manager-install-driver.html (or there may be a single downloaded executable file that run you just--I know not how this driver will be downloaded).  Once done, reboot and see if your keyboard works again.

If this does not work, try a startup repair to boot from your Installation of Windows Vista genuine disc (or one you can borrow from someone) or a recovery disc.  Here is the procedure: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html.  You may need to change the BIOS to do first the CD drive in the boot sequence to boot from the CD.  To do this, hold the screen that tells you the key F to push to enter the menu start or start of installation.  Push it quickly. Make the changes, save your work and exit.  Put the CD in the drive and reboot.  When you are prompted, press any key to boot from the CD.  When you reboot, the keyboard now works.

If you do not have a floppy disk, you can make a bootable recovery disk by using http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/ with burning software like: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html and, of course, a blank CD.

If this is not the case, try a clean boot to see if another program interfering with the keyboard.  Here is the procedure: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.  If the keyboard works of boot, then it's just a matter of finding the culprit, the origin of the problem.  Follow the procedures described in the article.  Once that is done, don't forget to return the system to normal operation.

If the clean boot does not work, try to boot in safe mode (repeatedly clicking on F8 during the boot process until the menu appears) and see if you can use the keyboard there.  This can be very useful information to the narrowing of the cause and solve the problem (if it is not a hardware problem).

If this does not help, we will check some of your system files and hard disk for corruption.

Go to start / all programs / accessories / command prompt and right click on command prompt, and then click Run as administrator.

Type sfc/scannow, go and let it run.  It will scan and try to correct some of your system files.  If all goes well he comes complete with no corruption, it could not repair (if it has these post of corruption here or try to analyze it to find the problem or files using http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928228.  Try to put all the corrupt files here so that we can see if they can be repaired with good copies of the installation disc (unless there are too many).

While in the command prompt, type chkdsk /f /r and enter and let it run.  She might want to plan itself to start at the next startup.  Okay, then restart so that the program can run. It will scan and attempt to resolve any corruption or bad sectors on your hard drive and remove especially as a potential cause.  Restart when done and see if the keyboard works now.

I hope this helps.

Good luck!

  • Race of library slow when Alchemy app disabled in the Release version

    Hello

    I'm working on an application that an operation running through a library of Alchemy (written in C and exposed as .as) long.

    Here are the high-level logic to illustrate the idea:

    QNXSystem.system.inactivePowerMode = QNXSystemPowerMode.NORMAL;

    addEventListener (AlchemyLibraryEvent.PROGRESS, onProgress);

    addEventListener (AlchemyLibraryEvent.COMPLETE, onComplete);

    Call the library of Alchemy;

    private void onProgress(event: AlchemyLibraryEvent) {}

    update of the progress made in the user interface;

    }

    private void onComplete(event: AlchemyLibraryEvent) {}

    QNXSystem.system.inactivePowerMode = QNXSystemPowerMode.STANDBY;

    If app is in {disabled state

    QNXSystem.system.powerMode = QNXSystemPowerMode.STANDBY;

    }

    }

    In the bar-descriptor:

    run_when_backgrounded

    What happens is that the app works perfectly well (no matter the app is active, put off the power, the unit standby) in a debug build (by token of debugging).  However, when it is exported as a signed bar and running on the same physical device BB10, it normally only works when the application is active.  Whenever the application is disabled (when the screen is off, or app pushed back and another application is brought to the foreground), the application runs always, but at a very slow speed (about 1/15 of the original speed).

    I did some debugging and confirmed that when the application is disabled, she was continuing with NORMAL power at the rate of 60 frames per second, which seems to be quite normal.  What I don't understand is why the chemistry library runs a lot slower in the background in the Release version.

    As a proof of concept, I added the following code just before inactivePowerMode to NORMAL:

    NativeApplication.nativeApplication.systemIdleMode = SystemIdleMode.KEEP_AWAKE;

    The build version will run at normal speed and the screen turn off.  However, if I press the device power button, or push the app thoroughly (and make another application in the foreground), he repeats the same behavior running slowly.

    Any ideas would be much appreciated!

    No, there is no way to take more CPU power when in the background. The operating system applies this to the user, so they have no apps churning through their battery on them. I would recommend that you inform users of this, so they can decide what they want to do. BlackBerry 10 is expected for the multitasking well, so I expect that they will enjoy and put the application in the background.

  • How to disable him built several actions to the keyboard on the screen for Windows 7 provides?

    We use the OSK integrated in Windows 7 for our touchscreen software, however we had a problem with security.  Our systems must run in a "Lockdown" mode where the partner is unable to access the OS.  The on-screen keyboard offers three ways to access the OS (everything we believe we blocked).  Windows key + U can access the function of "accessibility" control panel which you can join the BONES through the window of the Explorer.  Key 'Options' & 'Help' which, through the links, you can get access.  Is there anyway to disable this feature?    Otherwise, is to capture the screen through code and kill him anyway.  The applications we develop are in c# / WPF.

    You might be able to accomplish what you need through a GPO setting. He would just have to understand that one.

  • Yoga 2 Pro - keyboard is not activated when you open the lid of the screen after sleep

    My Yoga 2 Pro has very often problems to activate the keyboard when I open the screen.

    That's what I do:

    -work with Yoga 2 Pro

    -Close all applications and after that, I close the screen

    -After some time (maybe a few minutes or several hours) I open the screen

    -It will take a few seconds until the screen is turned on (which is expected)

    -at least 50%, the rest keyboard disabled. The backlight cannot be activated and the laptop does not notice any key. I'm unable to log :-(

    -J' I need to close the screen, it takes a few seconds - and when I open the screen for the second time, the keyboard is enabled - not always, but usually. But sometimes the keypad remains disabled, although I try the procedure several times. If that happens, I need to restart the machine.

    All the drivers are up to date.

    @Lenovo: Please indicate how to solve this problem! It's very annoying open-close-open-close-open-... the display up to what the keyboard is finally activated!

    Kind regards

    It is a problem with Word, rather than the 900 of Yoga, I think. I see the same thing on a Surface of 3 in tablet mode. You have two options to work around this problem:

    (a) turn off "Tablet Mode" to display the icon of the keyboard on the taskbar. Touch which will bring up the keyboard on the screen. Your physical keyboard should always be disabled when the 900 Yoga is bent in the Tablet configuration.

    (b) use the Word Mobile instead of the full word. It has all the features, but at least it will bring up the keyboard on the screen automatically in tablet mode.

  • Cannot turn off the screen keyboard on

    Seems like a stupid question, but I can't seem to find the solution. When my wireless keyboard has a conflict of any sort, and stops working, it's great that I can use my mouse to go to accessibility options and get the screen keyboard to use in order to re-install the software, re - sync my settings bluetooth or something else. Once I get it all working again, I'm hard to find a way to disable the screen keyboard on.  I can't find anything in the help index or anywhere, that's all off once you have enabled. For now, I'm just close it after my PC boots every time which is very annoying because it seems add time to the boot sequence as well. What Miss me something that should be so simple. I can write the code, but I can't disable a keyboard?

  • How to remove or uninstall a keyboard on the screen.

    I have a keyboard on the screen that keeps popping up when I connect.  I can't find the program to be deleted.  The menu help on the keyboard has a Disable button but it only turns off for this instance.  It keeps popping up whenever I connect.  It's very boring and tedious.  How can I get rid of him?  I tried to do the uninstall program is not on the list, remove/uninstall in Control Panel in your responses section, but nothing doesn't come.  I think that this program was here to Acer when I bought this computer.  I fell on it and at the time thought it would be useful, but in fact, it's a royal pain in the back.  I also checked my list of pop-up windows because it is on the way to my clock, calendar and thermometer turns on, but it isn't here either.  How can I get rid of this annoying keyboard?  Help!
