  It is not possible to disable disabling only when you have 2 internal graphics card you have the choice between them.

  The new arrow download animation is very distracting and rather annoying (and I know I'm certainly not the only person who believes that Yes). If there is no option to stop, I really hope that include you this feature in the next update.

  I'm not aware of any way to stop the animation, but you can use customization feature to remove or move the arrow or other icons on the toolbar. Here's how you can get started:

  • Right click on a zone empty of the tab bar > customize
  • Menu view > toolbars > customize (if you are not normally the bar classic menu, press the Alt key to view it if you can access the menu of the view)

  To remove an icon, drag it to the dialog box and drop it with the other icons.

  Hi, this is my first post on the forum. I'm not a pro with computers or anything... the problem I have with my laptop is similar to the one in this thread:

  I spent half the day trying to figure out if my graphics card is broken, but since I'm a newbie with this stuff, I'm still not sure. :(

  This is what makes my M10. I'm trying to describe the symptoms that detailed as possible, but I'm German, so please excuse my lack of words in some places.

  1. when I turn it on, the laptop goes through the BIOS and give me scrambled BACK-screens and a slightly Warped windows loading bar. There is the consistency check, marked by black bars connecting the top of the screen down. After the audit, the screen goes black and nothing happens, or the screen of will just show me consistency check, do nothing. Be that as it may, I have to turn off the power (I think) and restart the laptop.

  2. sometimes the laptop goes through the BIOS checking & conistency with a few graphical shortcomings. The office is anything but shredded when he gets to the screen of the Windows user. The static method is if serious I don't even know where is the button turn off.

  3. sometimes Notepad starts very well, with the only graphic problem being the windows loading bar. When I go into Windows, the laptop pulls me a blue screen and stops immediately.

  Edit: maybe I will add when I got the screen scrambled and everything. I installed Civilization 4, just to check if my satellite pro can handle, and everything went well for a while. The screen then haywire and I rebuilt my whole system, but display problems did not disappear completely. They were gone for almost a month, and now they are 'back' or something.

  I'm not a technician but here nobody needs technical knowledge to see that there certainly is hardware problem. I also believe that this problem occurs due to the graphics card. Graphics card is part of the motherboard and it cannot be traded separately. The entire motherboard must be exchanged.

  In my opinion, you have two options: either contact the authorized service provider in your country and speak with them, what can be done, or try to get the motherboard used. If you are lucky, you can find it on eBay. I already bought several hardware components for my old Satellite P10 on eBay.

• Can't disable label refocusing animations?

  I have several Labels centered on the screen and I regularly change the text of each of them.  When the new text is a different length than the previous text, the label starts on foot with the left side of the text in the same position and then it moves to the left or right to center the new text.  The problem is I want to change to happen immediately before the new text is displayed even rather than being animated.  Is it possible to disable the implicit animations for this?  I tried several different ways and have been unable to do.  I need to solve this problem that since I use other animations on the labels (to move vertically) but this question is shaking around and it seems not smooth

  I just got this new computer and try to make it work with the game Elder Scrolls v Skyrim   the game starts and runs ok however by default is of poor quality with video intel detected 4600.   Don't want to use the video intel when even, so no matter not much.  I want to use is the video card from nVidia to 740 m.

  I went into the NVIDIA Control Panel and things together global use the nividia card, in program files, I put all the exe files of the game to use the nvidia card.   I entered skyrimprefs and sd3ddivice to change sD3DDevice = "Nvidia GeForce GT M 740" when I start the game it resets the video at the bottom and when I look at his still trying to use the card intel.  The skyrimprefs file is more written with sD3DDevice = 'Intel (R) graphics HD 4600'.

  So the question is how to get the game to work with nVidia card?  Or how to disable the card intel?

  Went into device manage and disabled the graphics card intel and skyrim can't always find the nVidia card. It uses Microsoft basic pilot to return instead.  A difference that I noticed is the base of Microsoft driver it will default the video quality of average quality rather than low quality I get with the 4600 built in processor video card.

  PROBLEM SOLVED

  I was running enb and needed to use the version of the injector instead of the version of wrapper.  the file d3d9.dll in the wrapper version forced things to use the graphics card intel.

  I used to use Firefox 3.6 and finally upgraded to version 7.0.1.

  I like 30 + tabs open and something REALLY unpleasant notes in my Firefox. I don't think remember 3.6 having this problem as well, but at the time I was able to Google it and turn off no matter what value he was doing this.
